SLC Employment Services is one of my first go to's when looking for new employees. Amanda is always quick to respond to emails, and usually has a few candidates already in mind off the top of her head. Arranging interviews is easy and the added bonus of subsidy really helps with the initial training.

Extremely efficient, task oriented, and individualized assistance. The agency excels on insider information and works closely with respected job sites to make the application process much easier. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to secure employment. Pairing up with Sara through St. Lawrence Employment I was assisted with created a resume that I felt extremely proud sending to employers.

Excellent and professional service! Sara Ryder is very friendly, patient and detail-oriented. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. I continually get updates and support for anything job related I have asked about. As well, the location is easy to find and the building is also accessible and offers free parking.

Great staff. They help you with your resume, cover letter and many other things. They help you to find a good job. They also have suggestions on courses to improve your skills.

Amanda Vanderhaar is the most responsive and knowledgeable employment counsellor that I have ever worked with. She has great suggestions on how to reword items for both resumes and interviews. She has made community referrals that have greatly benefitted me. I bounce even the smallest details off of her like I would a best friend. She directs me in the right direction but leaves the final choice up to me. I was and still will reach out to her supervisor to tell them what a good job she has done preparing me for a job fair, and 5 interviews within one week.

Ashley Barrie has been a wonderful resource for a job seeker and has offered many good suggestions. She always makes herself available either by phone, email or in person. I would recommend this service to anyone seeking assistance with resume writing, interviews or job seeking opportunities

This place helped me get a good job that I enjoy! Amanda was friendly, knowledgeable and intuitive correctly what I needed. What a great experience I have had with the St. Lawrence Employment Services! Ashley Barrie was my employment consultant with the organization, and with her extensive knowledge and abilities she assisted me with every step of my journey. Sara is incredible! Words can not describe how dedicated she is to finding what you WANT out of your job. Let’s face it…. We spend more time at our jobs then at home.
