St. Louis Bar & Grill

We had 2 servers, both from the bar area. Server one acted like she was in charge and said there were no food or drink specials which was obviously wrong. Beer pints were on for $6.99 and there were all you can eat boneless wings. She didn't come to take my order for half an hour so I asked the other server to take my order who was very nice. Excuses such as we are busy so everything takes long don't work with me as workers should be scheduled correctly. I won't be back for the foreseeable future. I don't need a response since I expect the response to be an excuse. Thanks.

Foods good and staff is friendly, simple as that
My friends and I went for the All you can eat boneless chicken and we tried a bunch of flavors of sauce
Hotter than hell was one of my favourites and hot honey is my definite favourite! We're probably going again next week too!

Ordered the plant-based wings and they were awful- mind you I didn’t have the highest expeditions considering it’s not a vegetarian restaurant but most other vegetarian options at meaty restaurants and better. They had a very strange gelatinous texture and were very cold.

Waited for 45 minute for my wings and asked the server about it. Rudely came back the reply "5 minutes" and than another 15 minutes gone. So have to leave without food. The great waitress didn't show a sign of worry.infact seems like she wanted us to go. No sorries, no respect.no food.

I've ordered here twice through Door Dash, asked for sauced wings and got wings that look like they don't have sauce at all.
I've been to other St. Louis restaurants and not had this issue.

The server, and I mean the only ONE person working there on my visit, was AMAZING! She was serving a dining room that looked 95% full! She was run off her feet! Drinks were very slow to come to the table, my drinks took forever to be refilled, appetizers came, and it took 20 minutes or so to get my main meal and so on.the management of the location did NOT correctly provide the right numbers of staff to services the number of people in that dining room. The food was great, and the staff were amazing, trying to keep up with the demands, but I feel the management falls very short when it comes to correctly staffing for the volume of guests they had. I am disappointed and don't see myself returning. The management MUST add more service staff to get the basics down of bringing food to the table and KEEPING drinks full since this is a bar? !? ! Again, I do stress. The service staff was amazing considering the circumstances, but the management needs to step up and provide more labor for the dining room to be able to run effectively.

We frequent St Louis Bar & Grill on Northfield Drive in Waterloo often. We come for the food and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Our servers are always friendly and attentive to any special food requests we have. We truly feel like part of the family here! After Covid hit, good service has been difficult to find. I say this because I am a trained chef and know what to look for when it comes to good service. One notable feature is the patio is dog friendly! Keep up the good work St Louis Waterloo!

Always an Excellent Experience at St. Louis! The Food, as well as the Excellent Service from all of the staff is above and beyond!

Waited over 30 min only to be asked to reorder again. Another 30 min for barely warm food. Not a check in from the waiter, not a refill. Watched two tables walk out.

This is a hidden gem on the edge of town. A true locals place. Food is consistently good. What makes this place stand above the rest is the service. The staff are always very friendly and attentive to what you might need, very much appreciated. They have several rock stars who we have come across but Abby, Megan and Ola stand out, Always more than, friendly and knows how to pour " the perfect pint" Thank you, Those who care, appreciate the attention to detail.

Food was ok, service a little slow, they only had two servers. Outdoor patio is nice with the exception the smoking area is only a meter away from it. (Pretty sure that is illegal).
This place used to be great but on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only a few groups of people there. It is worth a visit if you want to avoid a crowd, but they have to get rid of the smoking area and work on speed if they want to stay in business.

Our server Maya was attentive, efficient and so easy going! She kept the wings coming. She was very well mannered and had a great sense of humour to put up with us. First time at this restaurant and will certainly be returning. Thanks for the wonderful service Maya!

This is your basic chain sports bar trying to be a restaurant. Don't expect to find anything mindblowing here. Location is nothing special with a beautiful view of the parking lot from the patio.

Great set up. Watched the game. Wasn't overcharged for draft. I feel like they've really upped their game with the food too.

Update: really good wings. Good service. Reasonable prices. Great for casual meet ups to plan for your next AI business.

Always a great atmosphere with great food and drinks. The staff is amazing! The waitresses are super friendly, quick & kind!

Food and service are very good, with generous portions - prices are very competitive. I had the French onion soup and club salad - had to take half the salad home for later - and both were excellent. My nephew had the deep fried pickles and a burger and he enjoyed both and was too full to finish the pickles. Good handicapped parking by front door but the handicapped toilet was out of order. That and that the place is quite noisy, making it hard to hear conversation, were the only drawbacks.

The food was really good. The server wasn't very personable and just wanted to get our orders in and get us out to fill the table with the next guests.

Service is amazing and the food is great.

Waitresses were very fast and always checking on us. I had the Southern Chicken Sandwich with coleslaw. The chicken had a burnt taste to it and the slaw was average. My friend had the California Quinoa Salad and said it was tasty but had very little quinoa in it.
