St. Vincent's Kitchen - Durham Outlook

The volunteers on the weekend during August's 26 2023 were serving people who came last first, ignoring the client's, and refused service to one man and left him in the rain, after lying to him saying they are out of food.

They did this because they gave one of the client only 5 or roughly yhat a, punt of food cans and no can opener, well giving others things like muffins and snacks. When informed that they dont c a rry a cam opener and sre asking for snack food the volunteers got angry, taking up time to lecture people, when told by several people, two of them former volunteers, one of those being a volunteer at yhis exact address, that they are organizing this wrong, and not rationed the food so now the people who been there waiting get little when the people who showed it later got a bag before the, they cut off the man who was most vocal, but still being very relaxed in voice and calling g them ma am

The Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise has the best volunteers to feed the needy. Great job team!

This place is a salvation for those in need of food, and compassion, I've have visted this place on 2 occasions and recommend anyone in need to visit as well, I have found it to be Non Judgemental.

This is a great deal if you don't mind eating with some poor people, (and a few of us wealthy people who just like a deal.) $1.50 for dinner, or some of the other soup kitchens will give you a free ticket for a free meal.

It's an excellent place for the most vulnerable members of Durham Region to get a four-course meal for $1.50 or for free. The patrons of the soup kitchen are treated with respect in a clean environment.

I think that the same Vincent kitchen It's a Wonderful organization they give you a a choice of salad, a bun, a hot or cold drink or both.three-course meal and choice of dessert.these people just come in and work in a hot kitchen making wonderful meals for people that don't know each day with a smile on their faces. And usually a few words if you need somebody to talk with it's just how it goes there's wonderful wonderful people to do that each and every day a different Church a different group is in there cooking a wonderful meal for people that otherwise had children may have an empty belly to go to sleep with one more night God bless you all you're just wonderful keep up the good work there is lots of people that think you're just fantastic because you are
