Called to see if they can take an emergency case. Receptionist referred me to Ottawa. I asked which hospital seems to be the least expensive. She replied that if she had an emergency that question would be the last on her list. I simply haven't got the money. What does she want me to do? Skip out on a bill? Some hospitals like Alta Vista are specialty hospitals. They charge through the nose. If I haven't got the funds, I haven't got the funds. No rude comments necessary from her. Her abrupt uncaring attitude in an environment where worried, stressed out owners are seeking care for their sick animals is simply unprofessional and not very trust inspiring.
