This is an excellent Staples location. It seems they have meeting space and recently had some renovations.
The store is not actually IN the mall but an out building on the east side. Victor, who cashed me out, was super friendly and polite.

UPDATE (NOW IT MIGHT BE FRAUD) : My relative, who placed the order, cancelled the order after the store on Ellesmere refused to give us the product. Staples is REFUSING to give us a refund without the product - WHICH IS SITTING IN THEIR STORE BEHIND THE CHECKOUT COUNTER BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO GIVE IT TO US - and said that if WE do take a UPS shipping label back to the Ellesmere store and give it to the associates so that they can mail it back to themselves, the order will sit behind the counter forever and we will not get the refund. I have told my relative to file a fraud dispute with the credit card company and am considering reporting it to the police.

TERRIBLE. We put in an order for over $100 worth of stuff and when it finally got to the store, their customer service refused to give it to me because it was in another household member's name and we don't have the same last name even though we have the same address and the person designated me as the pick up person. Cancelled the order, never going back to this store again.

The male staff should not call older women inappropriate demeaning names and they should let older women use the payment machines by ourselves without interference. It should not be assumed that we are doddering old dears, but instead they should remember that we are also people. One outstanding associate staff (Q) stepped in and made all the difference, this second staff treated me like she saw a person, not just my grey hairs! She helped with my refund after the male staff had shamed me and she is a great teacher (not just for other staff but I learned from her as well). Good luck Q, I hope they promote you!

I ordered photo prints online for this location (SAME DAY SERVICE), and after a day I received a call from the store that their machine is broken and they’re not sure when the machine is gonna work. Since I needed the photos I decided to ask them to cancel the order and give me the refund so I could order it somewhere else. And this is the ridiculous part: I’ve been told that they can cancel the order but for receiving the refund I should visit the store! What a waste of time! Totally disappointing policy

Pretty good store. No long waits to get served. Staff is friendly here. This is a well run store I like shopping here when I go on staple runs

Bad customer service, we were waiting for customer representative for apple watch section to purchase a watch for my daughter, but nobody assisted us but they were chatting and laughing each other. Then we went to cashier section and they told that somebody would come and assist us but nobody was there. Time waste. We bought same watch in Bestbuy.

Every single encounter that I've had with any staff member at this location has been positive. They're helpful and quickly find someone who can assist you with any questions related to products that they carry. They don't overwhelm you while you browse, you don't feel like someone is constantly watching you, but help is available when you need it. That's my experience!

Called a few times over the last couple of hours and no one picks up for the printing services. I have questions about the templates online to send in an order to their location and need stuff done for tmrw pickup. This was the closest location, but I am going to have to inconvenience myself and go to another that's out of the way. I am time sensitive for time tonight and tomorrow.

Update: I ended up trying again the next morning multiple times and still no pickup from the Ellesmere location. I called another location instead as well, and had help right away. The guy made everything smooth from start to finish. So thankful!

This location is HORRIBLE! Customer service is non existent, especially in the print department which gets very busy yet they are ALWAYS understaffed and I really don't think they properly train employees because some of them don't even know how to perform basic duties of their job like change ink cartridges.

PSA - Do not take your baby/kid there for passport photos, they really messed up my baby's passport photos due to lack of knowledge/experience taking photos that follow guidelines which resulted in 4 trips to 2 different locations to get this corrected which was a huge waste of my time. They've also messed up several invitations/cards I've had printed there.

The only reason I've gone back is because it's cheaper to get certain things printed there but honestly at this point I'd rather pay more for better/accurate service elsewhere.

You will leave angry and frustrated. Seriously, it's bad.

A very large Staples center, so it does cover most of the office supplies you would be looking for. It isn't usually too busy so it makes the shopping experience a bit easier.

I did try returning something through the FedEx here and had to wait a long time to get served even though I was the only one in line. They may potentially be understaffed.

Placed an online print order, waited 4 weeks to never hear a thing back. I called the store multiple times on various days and could never get through to anyone to inquire about my order. After calling corporate who also knew nothing and being told I should wait for an email from another department in a couple more days, I was told that my package was lost in transit. Their only solution was I could continue to wait while they send it for a reprint or I'd have to go into a designated store for my refund. 4 weeks of waiting, and I have to go in store to get a refund for an order I placed online? I don't understand how that is helpful.

No explanation or reimbursement for my wasted time and frustration.

I would highly advise anyone thinking of ordering from Staples to steer away and try to find an alternative like Vistaprint to avoid disappointment.

Went there a couple of years ago with a computer that didn't work properly and they offered to repair for 200-300 instead I looked up the problem online and cleaned it with a air pressurizer (the problem was the dust). So yea I was nearly ripped off from their repair team

Rude staff…totally unfair in delivering customer service. They literally served customers behind me in the queue before me and gave weird expressions at the time of service. Had to literally wait for an hour to get a digital phot printout.

Ordered business card online, it said it takes 4-5 business days for pick up. 3 weeks later I emailed them as I didn't receive any update, and they said they were sorry they failed to send notification email! Poor customer service. Aside from that the quality of the product was poor too.

I gave a print on engineering paper for $7 and total came to $11. When asked they said $3 for service fee which doesn’t make sense! Just to give me a print and charge a $3 service fee.absurd

Wesley, does not take customers’ concern logically and he is RUDE. We did not purchase on discount but we must return it on discount because “that’s how the system works”. We asked, begged him to do the math that we did not purchase on discount, it was on regular price. He doesn’t listen and being extremely ignorant. Very unpleasant and disappointing experience. We spent 20 min explain why the system made a mistake with a phone calculator. He would not even listen. I begged him to be patient and listen to us, never worked until he realized we are not leaving without he admits he is wrong. I would appreciate myself being a patient customer.

I was looking for a printer which was on sale but didnt see it on display, there was only one associate on the floor helping another customer, all other employess were on cash. A proactive employee by the name of Rohit left the cash register and helped me find the printer, which i should mention still wasn’t on display lol but was on sale

This place does not even deserve the 1 star. Came for a digital picture, customer service of printing department was rude and did not care for their customers - they just want to get rid of you asap.

Worst is they did not even put the picture in my USB. Now I have to go back again. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME.

Waste of time. The staff (the two girls in the print department during 7pm shift on Aug 25th) was not at all professional and helpful. Couldn’t not even take the passport photo. Kept on asking to go to professionals to get the photo shot. Wasted my time. They started taking shots from diff angles which obviously was not acceptable. They should be better trained to treat the customers right.

Few months ago I purchased new laptop lenovo from this location now Not working,
The day I purchased laptop the sales person said if any thing happened in one year period bring it back we fix it or we send it to lenovo,
My laptop not working now I spoke to staples customer service at parkway mall they refused to fix it or to send it to lenovo.
I paid hundreds of dollars for this laptop few months later broke down bad choice to buy lenovo and from staples customer service zero.

Went to buy a chair that was on sale and no one helped for over 30 minutes. The only display model was part of a chair wall display 3 rows up. No one wanted to remove it so I could try it. 5 managers were having a meeting on the floor the whole time leaving 1 guy to serve all the customers. Clearly they need to close the store and continue online because it was a complete waste of time. Left buying nothing.

The staff at the store are nice and don't harrass you on warranties, additional purchases, or anything like that, which I find at most tech stores whenever I'm trying to buy something as simple as a charging cable

Totally unsatisfactory experience with print dept. Tried them once and service was unacceptable. A few weeks later thought I would give them another try - never again. Is there ever a manager around? Guess not!

Very dissapointed! The cart was hard to manuever around to arrive on the cashier side, so i waited at the end side. From no one waiting until i got served, it was 10 minutes waiting time. Not only the cashier was ignoring me. From no one waiting until i got served, it was 10 minutes. The cashier served 2 persons after me. When the cashier called the 3rd person, the lady was nice enough to inform her that i was waiting on the line. Very bad experience! Never again.

Was sold 1 year warrenty hasle free returns if your product breaks. Was not informed at cash warrenty starts 1 year after purchase if it breaks before 1 year you still have yo deal with manufacturer. Also had forgotten a part and it wasnt till I ran home and returned to store was I told warrenty was not valid yet.

Bad service. Salesman left me 2 times and went to another client. Bought 2 desktops. Took long time to get them. Manager is too tough when I asked for any discount item with these desktop. Hardly gave me $9 discount.

Staples is an office supply store. If you've been to a Staples before then this one is no different. You'll find notebooks, binders, paper of all kind, printers, laptops, pens and pencils, rulers, scissors, staplers, markers, white boards, office chairs, mats, desks, printing services, school supplies, and more! Clean store with fairly wide aisles. No issues here! Ample parking in front.

The worst I waited 20min in one line to be told I had to go to the cashier at another line, cause there was no staff on the floor to help me, then cause she had a line up she could not take me to the product nor did she call anyone to help me, then they one sell part of the product waste of time I will never get back.

Out of all the Staples in Toronto, this one is the most problematic. Hidden fees, problems with printers, service charges for asking for help when their printers fail. Ridiculous.

I was at this location the other day and Kaelen greeted me in should a happy voice, I could tell right away she loved her job. I need to change a document to print on an 8.5*11 paper and my computer for some reason was not letting it happen, I also went to the library and it did not work, I tried everything. When I told Kaelen she can made it in a PDF and it will be fine. OMG! I guess I over looked that because the instruction said to fix your printer setting so I was focused on that. Thank God the Staples hire people like Kaelen who think outside the box and make my day a lot less stress full. I am beyond happy that she helped me and I will be return to this location.

The customer service was so chaos and non of the employees stay on the same page. Wait it there for service of more than 40 minutes since it was a busy day, one of the employee just brought in another customer in front of me. It was so not professional and so disappointing. The store’s display is also not organized and not according to head office schematic. It s always hard to find things in this location

Went there to pickup something i ordered online and i had to wait almost an hour for them to confirm my package even tho i arrived with the confirmation email in my hand. After waiting almost a hour i had to wait another 10 minutes for them to find my package which was on a trolley that was loaded with packages which in my opinion is a danger hazard if it fell willing to bet money that if it did fall it would cause life threatening injuries.
