I took my infant son here for a passport photo. I read online that Staples takes infant photos and no appointment was needed. Right when I walked in a store employee told me they do not take infant photos. This is after we took my son out in the freezing cold and brought in all of his belongings. The employee treated my husband like he was stupid for asking why they could not take the photo. We were then told to go to another photo location and that location also did not do infant photos. Your website needs to be updated ASAP. I would never return to this store. I then called to speak to a manager and could not get through after several minutes.

This store comes in handy especially when you are in a rush to print documents but recently they have made so extremely complicated for customers to print. 1 they don't allow you to send the documents directly to them and they can just print it out that's not happening anymore.now you have to bring your USB and credit card to be able to print even 1 document.it's shame when they were very reliable in the past that's no more.

Ordered online for pick up at this store. Someone calls and said they don't have stock and will cancel the order, which first of all shows poor inventory management. I asked if they had my item in a different color and this lady said yes and advised I go back on the website to figure it out and place a new order. I was in the middle of asking a follow up question (if they can hold the item and I'll come by) and this lady hung up on me. Terrible customer service and I am going elsewhere for my purchase even if it means I have to pay more. Whoever this lady was who worked on online order pick up at this store on December 27,2022 at ~11: 15 am does not seem to understand customer service and need to do better.

F i could put zero, it would be exactly whatever this store and staff deserve. Yesterday bought the cartridge HP 65xl which cost 55$, my bad didn't open the box immediately, when I put it in my printer it showed that the cartridge was out of ink.today took it with recipt and asked returning my money but the manager told the serial number on cartridge and the box doesn't match and she refused to do the refund.it seams somone changed the inner package inside the box and because box was somehow sealed i was frauded. I got my lesson! Buying cartridges make sure and chek carefully that serial numbers match.

It's a sad store. Lot of store real estate allocated to displaying computers and furniture, with barely any shoppers around. I wonder how they make a living.
Great place to send stuff with FedEx. And I've seen people use the printing services.

After my debacle with printing at Henrys, i came to staples.still only option to print with is jpegs, but they did have fujifilm 4x6.though BEWARE the prints come out way more magenta and red, so color correct before hand.the staff was helpful and showed me how to use the machine.all you do is go to the website mygetpix.ca, upload your files, enter the unique code into the machine and then print.you can also choose quantity with them.afterwards it prints a receipt that you bring to the counter.starts 39cents per print.would be 5 stars if staples could integrate handling tiff files for higher resolution prints. JPEG IS A JOKE FOR PRINT.just add tiff at 300dpi please and thank ‍️

I visited the store today. I got startled when I saw finger sized centipedes quickly moving on the floor of isle 6. There were also flies walking on the Maynards candy bags by the cash registers. This location should monitor, detect and, eradicate insect more closely and attentively.

The most ugly service I ever met. It charged me 4.5 for only scanning a document. The only staff said it was a self-service machine, so I can't ask him for help. So I waited acually at the end of the line even if I came first before those guys. I was angry so I argued that, he kind of helped me then fast went back to his place. Finally, I was charged $4.5 for scanning one page. The instruction didn't mention the pre-authorized payment at all. I just wanted to ask: If I use the machine for the first time, can I not ask for support from your employee? If I have questions, does that mean if I want to use your auto-service machine, I have to take all responsibility without being permitted to ask questions from your employee or just wait until he or she is done with other customers? What if I am disabled, am I supposed to leave your store and go to other stores that provide assistance? If all the answers are yes, that is my mistake to question that guy's behavior. I can apologize and maybe I won't go to a store like this without providing any help for an auto-service machine. Thanks!

Incredibly empty most of the time, which is a good thing in my opinion. I bought cue card holders which were average quality but nonetheless, the store is quite big and organized.

Staff is helpful but be prepared to go broke if you need to photocopy or scan anything etc. Search around for other mom & pop shops for cheaper printing. Pretty much everything else in the store is also priced insanely, I would skip.

I am giving 5 stars because staff was very helpful. Ian helped us to find A4 size paper in store and on web, also helped us to load an office chair into my vehicle.

5min, 10 minutes now.
NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE answered at all.
I tried all departments and even random extension number as well.
All on hold or blocking in 2 ringings.
Why do you guys even have a phone number there? To irritate people?

Spent more than an hour in the copy and printing section trying to print out my temporary dl and health card issued online by service ontario. 1 clerk dealing with at times 7 or 8 customers at a time. Their self-serve software didn't work and the clerk gave me several different instructions then abandoned me to fend for myself. The service is a farce.

I usually do all my printing at Staples and have never encountered a problem like this. If I could rate them a 0 I would. First time going to this location and It was an interesting experience.

I walked in and went to the print desk. Brought my USB stick with me to get a quick 6 page booklet printed. A young lady approached me and asked if I needed help. I told her I need a 6 page booklet printed and handed her my USB stick. She looked at me and said they don't do printing. I was very confused as to how I should answer her. I told her I've been doing printing at staples for years now and staples has printing services. She told me they had a new policy that didn't allow them to print in store.

Talk about a lazy and useless employee.
I didn't want to argue with stupidity so I left and went to my usual staples where they printed my booklet in 2 minutes and told me there is no policy like that.

I went to this location recently to purchase a macbook laptop and a scanner for my business because I needed to upgrade my current equipment. I am not very knowledgeable with computers (just enough to get by how I need them to work) so I needed some extra assistance. I was helped by a very friendly staff member named Cierra, they guided me through figuring out what I needed from my new laptop and then after figuring out what scanner would be best for me, she made sure that I could connect it to my computer with an additional part that was required. Also hooked me up with some apple care and made sure I was completely happy and told me in future if I needed anything else that she would be happy to assist me again. I literally couldn’t have asked for better service, I will continue to go to this location even though it is not my closest one because of the service I received that day. Thanks again I really appreciate all the help!

Very rude manager, didn't let me stay in the store when it was closing time even tough I paid for the service (scanning documents) horrible experience and the Indian background girl at the printing section was very unfriendly

Great place if your looking to buy a phone. They sell the Asus Android Phone that comes with DUO SIM Card phone. Fully returnable if any issues.

Came here to return a gaming headset. My mistake for not knowing that headsets can’t be return now — policy displayed in store and receipt.

Staffs were kind enough to explain to me how the policy works and gave useful advice. Polite and professional.

Everything in thr store is amazing and their printers worked very well.
The best staff member Aaron helped me with my laptop and is such a nice guy. He has the best attitude, he knows how to work fast and efficiently and understands the customer.

Too expensive. I Suggest you not to buy from Staples in your 1st visit and for sure, try to shop from other stores like Dollarama because most probably you can find the same items with much cheaper prices.

Unfortunately, covid cut the ability to provide customer service. The Print Centre is entirely self serve (including figuring out how to use it), and none of the other services are 1 hour anymore.

Often drop in to do print outs and scans, decided to take a look at some printers today and was assisted by Vedant who took his time and offered genuine advice as to which printer was best suited to my needs. Excellent customer service.

I visited this branch a couple of minutes ago. The staffs are friendly especially at tech support this guy named Kyle, I appreciate his help in replacing my printer. He is kind and approachable. That's is why I'll give 5 stars on this.

Ordered online using Rakuten on Friday thinking that it was 2 hour pick up in store. Aside from option to choose home address or store address nothing indicated to mark off for store pick up. Arrived at store only to be advised that order is for pickup on February 3rd. Inconvenienced to have to go back to store today to pick up the order.

The staff here is very friendly and there is a lot of parking.

My only issue happened when I ordered a custom product, which I know is not the fault of this particular store (since it's a third-party company that does the custom orders). The first custom product arrived within a week, but was completely incorrect. The second one that was delivered a week later was closer, but still not what I had expected. They promised me a correct product on the third attempt; I have yet to receive this rendition 2-3 months after I ordered it. I am constantly being told it will be delivered within the week, but then ghosted. I must say 5 stars for the managers of this branch though, they have been forthcoming and helpful during this whole ordeal.

My favourite Staples location, Yonge Street and Steeles Ave W, is a former Office Depot.
I find the Copy Centre staff at this location are much more helpful than the other two locations in the area (Clark Ave W@ Dufferin and the High Tech@Yonge store).

I'm sharing my complaint to Staples customer service as I feel this is exactly why retail is a failing business model - it isn't the availability of online shopping, it's the poor customer service and lack of consideration for customers' time and effort.

"My order was cancelled without any notification or update whatsoever.

I just returned from visiting the store in-person and received information that the order had been cancelled. This issue is not the first encounter for myself in dealing with Staples and frankly, this is disappointing considering the current climate of Staples and retail-business as a whole being on the decline.

Not only did I have to leave work and travel for an hour to the pickup location, the staff were unhelpful and unaccommodating. After spending a couple of minutes to search the store for a product - which clearly was not in stock anymore - the only resolve that was presented to me was that the pricing would be honoured whenever stock returned. I inquired as to when stock would potentially return, to which I was not given a direct answer. Further, the associate questioned why I wanted to know about stock - this is ridiculous and the poorest customer service considering the time of year, your staff should be of the understanding that it's the largest gift giving season.

Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this interaction is that I spoke with an associate over the phone yesterday and was informed that my order was still available and ready for pickup. Yet today receiving this information, being told "the system doesn't always send emails properly when an order is cancelled", and having asked if I would be compensated for my time/gas/effort I was simply denied. The least the store could have done is issued a mere $10-$20 gift card to remedy the situation, but to my expectation, they did not. In fact when I was declined any additional assistance or remedy, I stated that I would take my business elsewhere to which the associate responded "Good".

As previously mentioned, this is not the first poor interaction and service experience with Staples and as such, will no longer shop or recommend any of your establishments in future. It is beyond me that your business/associates continue to act unprofessionally and are unwilling to remedy and save a customer, considering I can easily order online from one of your competitors and be compensated without question if/when they ever have issues.

I work within the IT industry and it is appalling to me that your establishment has consistently degraded the customer service expectation of those that still choose to shop retail. This experience has added to my distaste of shopping retail and, as mentioned, will no longer shop or recommend Staples to any of my clients, coworkers, friends or family. "

Went with a relative to buy something. Sales person was EXTREMELY pushy for extended warranty service, and did not want to take no for an answer. Reminded me of that time I had to attend a time-share presentation. Horrible, absolutely horrible. No should be a No with no 20 follow up questions, refusing to accept it. Never again. Just die already dear Staples. I switched to online shopping many years ago and rightly so. Now my friend will follow after this. Oh, and extended warranty was 3 times more expensive than other companies, including of course Amazon being the cheapest. I checked!
