Very poor online delivery service. I bought a laptop which I needed on an urgent basis. Ordered online and chose this store pickup as it was showing that product is available in stock and will be ready for pick up within 2 hours. Now it's more than 36 hours I haven't received a pickup confirmation email. Called the store, couldn't help. If it takes 2 days, I could select home delivery. Only reason I selected store pick up because I needed it urgently. Very disappointed with the service.

Ordered a gaming chair online, and the order was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. When I got there, they were quick to check my order number and name, and I received my gaming chair.

Been to this store for a pickup order. Asian guy at the counter asked me “How come yours pink” as I showed him my Id for pickup. He doesn’t even know what an Ontario photo card is and treated me as I’m holding a fake id, asked him to dial up the police to confirm. Wasted 30 minutes of time, finally had to sign the pickup and he gave me an empty pen and asked to sign the copy. Had to explain twice that the pen was out of ink. Felt a lot of racism coming to this place and would never come to this location or would recommend any one to ever come to this location.

Our go to place for printing and courier services. Passport pictures are also available here. The cost was $21. Prices are reasonable for printing at the photocopier. I had business cards done here and I was pleased with the quality. There's usually a line in the business area for service.

Never a smooth experience. Always a line and employees move very slowly to address matters. Simple drop off takes forever. Need a separate rep for this option…. Extremely disappointed

Wanted to drop off a small package with a printed shipping label but the customer service rep (older man, who was possibly the Manager) rudely refused it because it needed it to be taped to the box and that he doesn't offer any supplies to do so. Funny enough, he sales pitched me the idea of buying rolls of tape for a nice premium price while I stare at rolls of tape and other supplies that sits on the counter behind him. I left confused as I brought in separate printing labels before and other reps were able to provide shipping pouches to attach to it. Anyway, if I'm wrong and customers are suppose to provided their own tape/pouches, then please educate me in a friendly manner. Or offer to do this once and let me know for the next time. A smile is a bonus.

My advice to the older Customer Service Rep is that you need to do better.

Their photocopy and printer settings is predatory. The default is set to print in colour, which charges your more instead of default on black and white. It's purposely made that way so if you forget to select black and white for printing they can charge you more. The staff are so slow to help you here and move at a very slow pace. I had to wait while an off duty staff came to print something for free using up the computer.

Won't do photos. No signs in front of the store that says the photo machine is broken either. When asked about another store that has a machine, they pointed to one which has a broken one too!

Great selection, got what 8 needed. Took a long time to get help but once I did the giy (Alan I think) was fantastic and dint stop until I was 100% satisfied and in the checkout line.

They have these automated payment systems for printing. It is good for self service. But ideally I would like the staffs to be little reachable and not throw attitude. They maybe bombarded with so many clients each minute but I was new to their location as I was in a hurry to drop-off package

I availed shipping service from here. To be honest, it's very very inconvenient. The associate who was helping clearly did not know the process, nor had any intention of doing any work. She was slow, all she said is "Sorry. ". To my utter frustration, the label was created yesterday (8/30) at 3 pm EST and till today (8/31 current time 1.16 pm EST), there is absolutely no update and it shows it was not delivered to Fedex. I have seen many unhappy customers' remarks in the review sections more on the line of rude associates, and understaffed. Do you really pay any attention to what the customers say or just maintain the section as all the retailers do? Where is the disconnect?

I rent the computer and it was not working but nobody came to help me and it was costing me at the time and the employees were talking to each other looking at me but not coming forward to help me even upon asking many times

The store is located at the edge of a retail park but fortunately within walking distance of transit - most visitors seem to use cars, though. When I went, it was relatively quiet and seems to be overstaffed even though it was due to close in an hour, so plenty of people to help. I only wish it had up to date computers with the latest processors in stock and a wider selection, too.

Large selections of office chair. After research of ergonomic chairs and verified they have stocks, went and bought one. Store manager was there to greet customers and he is knowledgeable to assist you. Store is clean and airy and not crowded. Recommended.

Had a recent purchase with a sale item that was marked incorrectly on the shelf but Manager Scott MacDonnell cleared it up and made it right quickly and easily. I've had issues with Staples managers in the past who seem to care less about your issues. This new guy is friendly, knowledgeable and really knows his stuff. Thanks to Scott I'll now drive a little further just to make Staples Markham Road My Staples Store!

What horrible customer experience at this location. I waited while the customer petson at the print shop in front of me was bring assisted. After the sales person finished with him she didn't acknowledge that I was standing waiting or that she was going to leave me standing there while she went and helped another customer. Then a second person came over and help the person behind him and didn't even say a word to me. Not sure if it is fustration or factual. The sales person and the petson behind me were the same race. I walked right out of the store with no one saying a word. I will visit the Stouffville location were the customer service is always amazing.

I become increasingly disappointed every time I visit this location. They are chronically understaffed and the staff who are working are very unhappy and unhelpful. I keep trying to go back and give them more chances but today was the final nail in the coffin. I bought a keyboard and mouse in a "certified" box. The staff explained that this meant they had inspected to make sure all the parts were present and working. I got home, opened the box and discovered the mouse was missing. This meant a second visit to get a refund and try again. I ended up wasting valuable time in my work day and I'm not pleased. I'm not keen to return any time soon.

Customer service who was inquiring my call was rude, wasn't too helpful or caring. Rushed me when I had a question to ask and was getting info on said item I wanted to purchase. Three times they put me on hold as they had to deal with a customer. Third time around customer service said that "they'll get me the manager". Left me on hold for 40 minutes and then ended the call. Waste of my time.

Dell PC bought from Staples died in less than 2 months, It was under 1 year warranty but when I contacted, I was asked to reach out to dell for the warranty. Contacted Dell and apearntly Dell does NOT recognise this warranty. Now Dell tell me it's not their responsibility and staples tells me it's Dells responsibility, and I keep bouncing around from one side to another. I wanted to return the item but staples wouldn't co-operate with that too. $500 down the drain.

Just visited Staples today, with new Covid-19 curbside restrictions. They are following the rules properly. They had a pick-up coordinator Justine at the door. She was amazing, kind and very helpful. I really appreciate the level of customer service she provided.

This location has alot of items that other staples store don't have in stock. We'll trained staff are able to answer any questions in relation to electronic items. Store is well organized and easy to find items.

They are painfully slow with the curbside orders now that the store is open. It’s been 10 minutes and I’m still waiting, don’t offer curbside if you’re not going to bring the items out. Horrible.

I needed help with scanning many documents, the associate helped me and suggested the best way to store them. Plus she put them all in a pdf file for me.
She was a huge help, what took her 10 minutes, would have taken me 2 hours.

I came here to drop off packages that needed to be shipped out and was helped by Maleek outside the store. I just wanted to commend his level of customer service while helping everyone and their curb side related matter. I just wanted to say that in the cold with a temperature of -4 degrees he went out of his way to help myself and my brother but also multitasked and made sure to help the other people waiting. In uncertain times like this, to value amazing customer service and on top of being outside to make sure the safety of the public are secured he is doing an amazing job while it being freezing cold. I hope he is recognized for his level of amazing customer service and communication skills and hope that he is being compensated more due to these uncertain times and working in this cold! Thank you Maleek!

Could barely find any staff to help. And when I did find someone to help, I felt super rushed and uncomfortable asking any questions. I needed an office chair and it was a good thing I already knew what I wanted. The associate helped me get it from the top of the shelves but he couldn't even stick around long enough to make sure I had everything I needed before he walked away. Being an office chair, it was huge and heavy. I had to move it on my own from the back of the store to the cash register and into my car.

Ordered online and they gave me a different product when I picked it up. I showed them the picture of the product from their website and told what I got is different from what I order (different color). But they told me that they identify product with the item number not the picture. After I walk around the store, I found the exact same one I ordered online so I asked them to replace product, then they scan it but it was way more pricer than it is listed online. Please do not display the picture that you guys are actually selling. Very bad experience.

Extremely unprofessional customer service by the printing center. Representative by the name of Herthana is constantly on her phone (texting & on the phone call) while making customers wait. When asked for receipt, I was told to grab it myself. This person needs to be taught how customer service is. She was the phone texting more than doing her work. Maybe the manager needs to retrain the staff. Good luck. Never coming back to this location again with such pathetic service.

This is quite interesting. I saw an item on the Staples website which seemed to be available in store. I wanted to do a price match so I went to the store. I asked the sales clerk and she went in the back to get the item. As she was leaving, I made the mistake of telling her that I would like to do a price match. She then inquired about regarding the store and price difference. A few mins later she came back and mentioned that the store doesn't have the item. Which seemed odd to me as the website said they have the item. Anyway, I left. Came home and I was able to order the item to be picked up in store in 2 hours. So, I am not certain but I guess price match doesn't work all the time. Lesson learned.

Good job Staples for making the process of buying new supplies very easy. Many retailers in these uncertain times are making things harder than they should be, But staples is not. The website was easy to navigate through and they had all my supplies ready in two hours. I have a complaint though. I am not thrilled with the price increase with laser paper and sharpies. I can somewhat understand why this has occurred during Covid-19, but once this pandemic is over the prices must go down or else you have lost a customer.

Mya (not 100% sure if I spell her name right) at the printing section is super nice and helpful! I was at other location and took a passport photo, the photo printed out with very bad pink skin tone. The staff at the previous location insisted all the pictures taken there are the same with pink skin tone and didn’t even try to offer help/alternative. I was very disappointed and worried the photo might not meet standard. I drove to this location and asked, Mya and the manager have helped me to retake the photo without re-charging me. And of course, no pink skin tone on these new ones. Mya definitely added great value to the store and the brand!

Bought a computer 5 days ago. They said to wait for confirmation to pick up.

I call today. They tell me the paper work wasnt processed. Like thats my job? No thats your job.

They tell me the computer I purchased is right in front on him and I have to go online and re order it.

I wait with 44 customers ahead of me online. I finally get a customer rep and he tells me that my order got cancelled because of my credit card. Which is a lie because the bank notified me that it went through. Then I call back and they tell me they in fact never had the computer in stock.

Dont waste your time with these customer service reps. They clearly dont care about customers and are only working for a pay cheque.

Come during any day and it's quite quiet. The place is large and has a very good selection of stationary and office equipment and supplies. What is important is that this location has copy and finishing services such as lamination, binding, etc. Service was fine.

I don’t know why I keep giving Staples a chance. At every location and every time their self serve print services are horrible. I prefer to use the computer and print from my email but the computers literally take 15 mins or more to reboot after each user.or longer. I have never waited that long. But I have spent money and time logged into the computers and the printer not working. I think one time I lost 10.00 just logged into the computer while the associate hopelessly tried to fix the printer. When I complained the staff member just said sorry and didn’t even offer to refund me the money. I didn’t have time to mess around so I just left.

Like I said. I don’t know why I keep giving Staples a chance

Came here to do some printing, poor service not enough staff, the manager have attitude. Just to print a booklet normally wouldn't take more than 1 hr and she said can't pick it up till 1 day later after 5pm. BS not coming back to this location.

Literally making time to fill this in the parking lot as I am leaving. I was left wait at the cash register (knowingly as the cashier seems to prioritize tasks before customers) even watched a customer walk out because the cashier wouldn't make her a priority. Besides the point. I wasn't greeted by Vrinderpal (your csr) so I said hello instead. She ignored me, to which I had said, "okay never mind then. " She got the point and then greeted me. Thanks for reminding me why I never come to staples for any of my needs!

Product selection isn't very good, and everything sold there can be found somewhere else for less. Service is great, friendly staff. Photocopying and printing services are convenient and easy to use.
