Just had a passport photo done and had it sent by courier. The gentleman that assisted me (I believe his name was Kunal) was beyond helpful and very kind. Not only was he kind to me he was kind to everyone that he assisted. He made my day. Thanks Kunal for being such a light on a cloudy day

Yesterday I went into staples to ship a return package, after waiting in line I was “helped” by a very unhappy person named Michelle. The way she spoke to me was disgusting, I don’t normally ship items and needed a bit of guidance on what the package needed on it. She told me she can’t do anything for me with out a QR code. She continued to give me attitude when asking where I live, I told her my address and because she entered it wrong on the system It wasn’t coming up (after I repeatedly told her the spelling). She was extremely passive aggressive and angry while doing her job. As someone like me who works in health care I deal with many different situations and never have I ever spoken to someone the way she spoke to me. I later called the manger and she didn’t even ask for the name of this person and I felt the situation wasn’t taken seriously. Do not return or pick up your items from this location as they treat you like garbage and will ruin your day like they did mine. It cost nothing to be kind especially to a teenager who didn’t know how shipping worked. Thank you for shipping my package, I hope you can seek help in anger management!

At the beginning of October 2023 I bought a new Desktop PC and asked to have everything transferred from my old PC to the new one.
Everything was fine until I figured out my husband's data was not transferred onto it. I called today to ask if I could bring the old hard drive to transfer his stuff over and got told they don't do that service anymore and to call staples tec support which I pay a monthly fee for it. How is a remote access able to
get onto drive that is not anymore inside (the old PC).
So I called a tec service to come to my home and got quoted the cost between $250 and $300.
Last time I buy our PCs there if the service you need is not provided anymore.

I went to different stores to buy a laptop as a Christmas gift. I had requests about it, but I had no information. I was hoping that the people in the store would help. Generally, I could not get answers to my questions in the relevant stores due to insufficient information. When I was about to give up on purchasing, I stopped by Staples /Boardwalk. There Daveraj was knowledgeable about technology and gave satisfactory explanations to my questions and after 10 minutes I bought the laptop and left.
Once again, I realized that it is not the names of the companies, but the quality of their employees, that sells products. Thank you Daveraj.

I got my first iPhone from Staples and I should truly appreciate the efforts of Mr. Deepanshu Setia who has intensely helped me out with amazing black friday deals, customer support and the whole process of activation. There was an issue from the Bell side, but Deepanshu has done a commendable job in putting his untiring efforts to resolve the same by staying for extra time beyond his working hours. Thank you sir!

And I have seen his punctuality in responding to the other customers as well. His hard work has to be suitably rewarded by his manager. Thank you Staples.

I’ve had multiple marketing projects of various types and sizes printed at this location and I have yet to be disappointed. My orders have been carried out within the specified timeframe and I find the staff extremely helpful in answering any questions that I might have. Good location.

If you want passport photos stay away of this place, it's hacked.
2 weeks ago, I came and I took passport soft copy for my family and today they can't print and give me hardcopy even to pay again.

There was a certain employee #1 who, when we went for passport photos of our 3 month old baby, offered all the help possible and got us the pictures (thank you employee 1!) However, when we needed photos a second time and got there in a jiffy, employee #2 was in charge and he refused to do baby passport pictures because they did not officially have the set up to take photos of babies. He didn’t want to be accountable for safety which is understandable. However it’s not fair that one store keeps changing its policies based on who is in charge on that day!

To scan the doc, you have to do it by yourself, prepay, and follow the instructions. If something is going wrong, nobody cares. The time is counting, and money is taken from your account! Finally I could not scan the document, but have to pay for a time, I was struggling with this flicking instructions.
DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SCAN DOCUMENTS IN STAPLES! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I just spent 6 minutes standing at the print solutions counter. Two people working and talking, looking at me multiple times and ignoring me. I had to go outside and ask my order to be delivered through curbside pick-up. Honestly, what do think think I was there for?

Absolutely fantastic customer service. David in particular went above and beyond to find an item I was searching for. Additional staff went out of their way to introduce themselves and ask if I needed assistance.

I highly recommend this Staples location in particular. I will absolutely be returning in the near future.

This was our first time returning an amazon item and we were instructed to go here the person working in returns was rude and had hickeys on their neck. They were hesitant to find us help and luckily another kind person came to our rescue. I like the products Staples has to offer but this particular employee ruined this experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Went to the Boardwalk store today to buy a Chrome Book.
In an almost empty store, we had to beg to be acknowledged by associate Brendon, who barely took the time to look up.

We eventually were served by a lovely associate, Savitri, who seemed new and despite her willingness to assist wasn't very familiar with everything we wanted to find out

Anxious to purchase the machine for school on Monday, I asked if she could ask the Manager to assist who we hoped could offer additional clarity.

The Manager looked at us and literally waved us off, telling Savitri that instead of her (the
manager) offering assistance, she (Savitri) should just read the brochure to us.

After reading the brochure we decided to take the machine, at which time we were told that the cash register was down. Not once did the Manager ask if we were OK and if our concerns were resolved.

She was extremely dismissive to us, but not to the other customers who happened, unlike us, not to be racialized.

We ultimately left and will find the machine on Amazon, where when spending our money we will be spared being badly treated by racists.

Staff here is so ridiculous. Purchased a charger online and received the wrong one than what I bought. Called them back and they began to argue with me saying it was correct. I showed them that it is actually incorrect and they didnt apologize or anything.
Looking at other reviews there seems to be a major problem with staff so maybe HR should look into that. Super unimpressed.

Earlier today, I was stunned in the interaction with one of Staples store employees (on The Boardwalk location).
It happened that I was in the area and I did knock on the Staples door asking about the pick up process. I did ask how long would take, as I am there anyways. I said I can't really wait 25 minutes, at which the Staples employees told me: "Now, get out of here! ". Unbelievable & shameful!
Staples, your staff should be trained to respect clients.even though is a lock down mandate.

I have been to your store multiple times and have always been extremely happy with the service. I came into the printing section tonight at 7: 30 and asked to have photo copies done of about 60 4× 6 photos for a funeral. The young lady working told me that she was very sorry, she couldn't photocopy them, she would have to send them out and it would take 5-7 business days, it would take alot of work to do it in store. I was very disappointed, there wasn't anyone in line behind me. My error was that I should have told her I could pick them up the next day. I returned home and called Staples in Stratford, they are taking my photos tomorrow, coping and cutting them to have ready the next day. I will return to your store because I have had many good experiences, just thought I would let you know. Kelly

I was able to do what I came for. Reasonable amount of time spent there.
Protocols in place. Staff could have been nicer. It is hard to understand people with masks on but that is the new normal now.
Staff did not like to repeat instructions but I could not hear the instructions properly.

Went to Staples to print items. The doors were shut at 11 minutes to 6pm. An employee finally came to the front as my mom and I along with other customers were waiting outside. He gave the excuse that the store was closing soon (as if that could explain why the doors were shut). He offered no apology but only asked if we knew what we wanted to purchase. My mom had to ask him to let the other customers in because he's body language led us to presume that he did not care to notice them. Inside the store we had a better experience with a lady who was at the cash register and helped us at the printing station.

The white manager of the store doesn't seem like a good person. Also a portable battery charger I bought from here broken after just a few months of purchase. It was on sale. I'll not buy from here again.

Worst store to shop from. I bought a phone a month ago and asked for the option to refund / exchange. The salesman said you can ask for refund as long as you return the phone with the original box, original cable and other parts / accessories & receipt.

Now once I waited for them to open back brought the cellphone well functioning with not any issue, they refused to refund since there are two scratches on the screen which could easily be taken care of.

No refund, no return, no store credit not even pay back half the price.

Complete waste of time and worst customer service ever. The store manager was giving the look and raising his voice in middle of the store giving me the attitude. Don't buy or go specially to this boardwalk store and avoid at any costs.

Alyssa in the print solutions centre has done an amazing job with my order. She called me about an issue, so that it could be fixed and corrected a mistake that was make so that I left happy. I think she is a good asset to the staples brand.

I go here for some electric devices and computer hardware. Customer service is a hit or miss at this location. They greet you sometimes and are friendly, other times they have that buzzard syndrome.

I had to tell the guy that I knew what he was talking about cause I fix all my computers because he was trying to sell me warranty.that cut the pitch at least.

Still a good store to visit, and it's clean.

Very good! Used the printing service and it's always nice and easy. I only wanted a few documents and didn't want to use debit, so the person working gave me a pay card as an alternative, super helpful! I'd give five stars, but honestly the fact that colour print is the default is a huge downside. It's so easy to accidentally print B&W documents in colour and spend way more. My boyfriend did it before when he was in a hurry.

Very very poor customer service. I needed to do some scannings with their device I asked for help probably 5 times.each time the staff member came for 10 seconds and disappeared without even asking if I need any assistance.so I had to go and find her again for couple of times. I needed to get some basic photocopying done. Enter the store to find two employees chatting with each other in the copy area. No big deal, one attended to me right away.

The issue came when my request for 3 documents to be copied (5 copies of one, 40 of one, and 7 of a larger packet) was going to take a few hours. Ummmm? !? I totally get you have other projects but given you were standing around talking, there were no machines copying, no collating, etc going on. I'm shocked it would take hours.

At which point I glance over to see a self serve area. I comment about how I can just do it myself to which the employee says, yep I can do that. So in my evident disbelief of how long this would take, and frustration of having to come back, at no point did the employee suggest this alternative ‍️

Plz stay away if you want to take a Passport picture. The area is dark and eventually u will receive a dark picture. They did not cut the picture very well for my case.

I agree with other comments that customer service at this location is a serious issue. Came in, no staff available. I first had to line up at the checkout and then get help locating an item from the cashier once others have paid. Surprisingly, even the cashier then couldn't get a hold of anybody to help me out. Completely disorganized. Poor customer service.

Absolutely horrible customer service I was told a web designer would be $15 for15 mins and would send the design over after and we could have it done the same day. I was quoted $45 after the web design and same day print then Zana said they didnt tell me that price and basically implied i pulled numbers out of thin air. I'm beyond frustrated with the service and very disappointed!

Brought in stuff to print at 3pm, been told to come back at 6: 30pm, came back and it’s not ready, waited for about an hour more when I got there. They could’ve have prevented this by looking into the files before they let us go to see if there’s any adjustment that needed to be done or some sort. Was very disappointed having to come back and not ready in the weather condition were having on Feb 13.
It could’ve been better service I guess, just felt like not enough effort from the staff the was there. Or they could have given us a call to let us know what’s going on.

I have made this store my main staples location. Even though it's not the closest one to my house. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and my print jobs are always completed quickly and without issue.

Had a great customer service experience at this store yesterday. Bought couple of printers and they were not working well. Could not find my invoice. The store Manager Mark took his time to find my invoices and helped me to find a replacements and gave me a great technical advise and excellent service.thank you all at Staples on Boared Walk location.
I will be coming back for sure.highly recommend this place!
