Combo of in store and especially online service.

In store is not great unless you kick out. They tend to stand around chatting and not wanting to work other than a couple of younger guys. The rest could care less to acknowledge customer’s existence.

Ordered furniture online and for return pickup nobody picked up and I wanted all day until 8: 20pm! I called 6 times from 2pm to ask if anyone was coming and never received email confirmations from any of them. I cancelled an evening appointment at 5: 30pm for 6: 30pm because the driver was still now show despite being skeptical.

Their email confirmation for the pickup indicted 9am-5pm and verbally I was told the driver would have the documents for my boxes and that I don’t need to do anything, but after checking with Hanza the Supervisor, he said I have to write stuff on the box.

Now I have to waste my time another day once I hear back with the new date. TBD.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM STAPLES. You can but most things from similar stores like Best Buy, The Source, Amazon, etc to avoid headaches like mine.

I had gone to get a passport size photograph done. The service was indeed good. Friendly countenance. But I was not satisfied with the shots that were taken.
I was shown a preview and honestly it was a good shot on a smaller frame, but for some reason the hard copies I got were not good at all. Additionally, when I was asked for a soft copy, emails were not doable but USBs were acceptable instead. And for one extra copy, its as much as how much the whole service costs. Its ridiculous and I left the store immensely disappointed. Not student friendly.

I shop at Staples regularly and I used to go to my local store in the Summerhill area, until it closed. Now my go to store is the new-ish location at Yonge + Eglinton. I had THE BEST customer service there from a young man named Ali. He helped me find the right earphones and helped me buy the appropriate adaptor for my MacBook Air. He was kind, attentive and extremely personable. As someone who works in the customer service industry, I like to give praise to those who deserve it. We are working in very different times these days and people that go out of their way to be kind and helpful need to be recognized. Retail and customer service can be a really challenging job so someone with a great attitude and sunny personality just makes everything better! Thank you Ali for obviously loving your job and being such a great ambassador for your company.

I have been to this store only once. I bought a monitor that I ended up returning due to a manufacturing defect. The staff of this store more polite and much more attentive compared other Staples store that I have been to. The only negative thing about this store is its location. Unless you're buying something small and you take TTC, this store is very difficult to get to.

I had the pleasure of working with Victoria from this location. We had a *large* last minute request of the print department, and Victoria did everything within her power to connect with colleagues off-the-clock and helped us produce high-quality materials that our conference attendees were supremely impressed by. Victoria was kind, managed my expectations well, and I felt at all times that I was in good hands. Victoria is truely an asset to Staples!

Overall, this Staples
is a clean, well-atocked andwell-organized location with great staff, including Nick (computers), Munci (printing) and Paige (checkout). All staff are courteous, helpful and professional.

This store was previously at Summerhill subway in the former CBC television studios.

This new store is much better, brighter and a pleasure to shop in.

A hidden plus to Stsples Store 70 is that it iscadjacent to a Farm Boy grocery store with excellent produce and other items.

This store is on the south-east çorner of Yonge and Soudan two lights south of Eglinton. Located on 2nd floor so you need to look for it.

I had the pleasure of speaking with and assisted by Sahar a few days ago.
She is knowledgeable, patient and provided an excellent customer experience.
I needed to purchase a flash drive so I called before heading to the store. We
discovered that I was on the Staples (professional) site and what is sold there, is not always carried in store.
Sahar patiently searched the item number I was seeing on my end, and after not seeing it listed at this location, gave me the number to the Customer Care line which was open for another hour:)
I ended up with e exactly what I needed and I appreciate Sahar leading me to the right place while being so busy herself. A trip to the store (in the cold) was avoided and all is merry and bright!

I had to get a poster printed for my partners 30th birthday. Sahar at the printing service helped me out and she provided an excellent customer service. She was friendly, honest, helpful, accommodating and efficient. The posters turned out great and I’m overall very happy with the service provided.

Love having this bad boy next door at Y&E. So convenient for shipping, printing, boxes, and all things that Staples sells. Staff is friendly and helpful. She even looked up Canada post branches for me as they didn't ship Canada post.

Shiva helped me by creating a collage of photos and printed it off for me. She is a professional at the work she does, she's kind to customers, and does what needs to be done. She helped me while helping other customers and supporting her co-workers.

Be prepared to wait in line for 40 minutes only for them to tell you they can’t print it on the same day because it’s too busy. It’s ONE PRINT.

I was having some difficulties with their machines to do some scan/print, so I requested help, an employee named Shiva did her best to help me, even though the scanning machine was not working, she took my papers and scanned them via another machine, then helped me to transfer them to get my job done. Honestly the service I received was beyond my expectation, the employee was professional, respectful and caring. I would definitely recommend this location because of such people working there.

This is a five-star review for Ethan who exemplified the epitome of customer service by going above and beyond helping me today in your store. He willingly assisted me without any hesitancy, and made my experience a pleasant one. It must be added, that there was another staff member whom I asked for assistance, and they made an excuse that they needed to find someone who could assist me. Ethan appeared and didn't hesitate to step-in and help out. Every store owner in order to be successful should have a salesperson like Ethan!

Shiva's work with the machines and her wonderful manager Dan, know their stuff and last night made my week with their indelible perfectionist tone (haha) in print, cutting, collating and lamination with such caring service and warmth. In these hard and stupid times, professionals like these two calm the storm. I am never going anywhere else for printing. Yonge and Eg needs this goodness. Thanks again!

There’s nothing I love more than pens, and paper and stationary. NOTHING. I love pens so much. They’re all I have. To actually get inside the store feels like like what I remember of Jumanji. The store is in front of you on the sidewalk, like a normal store. Do you know how much I love paper with printed patterns? You have to go inside a building and take an escalator, do a do-si-do and around and around, and click your heels together three times. Then you open your eyes and * you’re still nowhere near it. Pens. Gel pens. Fine tips. You don’t know me. I didn’t get too far in because being in public mortifies me. I hate myself. I could hear cute sticky memo pads whispering my name. I basically aimed and shot my purolator package via t-shirt-gun to the person at the desk and ran out. Notebooks- the smell of them… Remember the Staples in Rosedale? It’s was my favourite; the only place I felt alive. I hope this one as good as that one. All the employees seemed lovely. I was just too high to be in public. It happens to the best of us.

It's probably alright if you go to this store to return your orders as I did a few times but STAY AWAY if you intend to purchase online and pick up at this store. They will cancell your order regardless without even bother giving any cancellation email or reason. Took me 4 orders getting canceled to realize this store is HORRIBLE

The level of Professionalism is an 11 on a scale from 1 to 10. I haven't had this level of unbelievable top notch service from any other location. The entire staff need a raise!

What an awful experience! I came in with a few packages to mail and I had all my labels ready but ran out of tape and just needed a bit more to fix my packages. The guy at the counter a taller white man asked if I had all my labels. I said yes but I just needed a bit of tape. He scowled at me and said we don't normally do this and I should be charging you to package your items but I will do it one time for you.he acted like he was donating a kidney! He barely put any tape on my packages.and ones that I wasn't sure were securely packed I asked him if I should put more tape.i would of gladly bought tape myself and did it myself if he suggested it.he put them aside and said I will do it later and ignored me and asked the next person if they needed help.and needless to say I have no idea what happened to those packages.they were Amazon returns and it's been over a week and I've heard nothing! I also went to Canada post and UPS afterwards to return some packages and they were so helpful.even offering to do any more taping necessary with a genuine smile and concern. I will never go to this Staples again! Ive went to the Staples at University and Dundas and they were soooooo helpful.and didn't give me attitude about tape! I hope my other packages get delivered. I should of stood up for myself.now I may be out 200$ for a refund from Amazon because I have no idea what happened to those packages he said he would tape later.

Location is much larger than it appears! Had everything I was looking for, and wasn't super crowded. Cashing out was very quick and efficient, and the sales associates were very helpful!

Staff tells me they put items on hold for 24 hours, I call the store the next day. After staff hung up on me, left me on endless holds. The manager came on, never gave me a chance to speak, said they don't have a hold policy. They are the only store near me with these items.

My first order here was forgotten and fully refunded as everything took double the time as I was told and the event was over by the time I got it. I had to go on site and call in several times, one girl flat out lied to me and said she'd have it done by the evening and then I was told by staff that she just went home instead. Mariam thankfully helped me out and was the only staff who gave me good customer service there. She is the only one who seems to know what she is doing there. I gave them another shot because I wanted to be understanding but it's been 10 days now on a 1-2 day order and I still haven't gotten a phone call to get my order. I have no idea why 100 prints on glossy cardstock would take this long. I tried calling in multiple times over the last few days but nobody answers the phone. I finally got through this evening and said "hey, I would like to check on an order that I have been waiting for 10 days that should be completed by now" the man on the line said sure just hold one moment please. 40mins went but and then I realized he likely forgot about me because that is far longer then just a moment. I really wanted this time to go well because this location is close to my work and we get alot of stuff done for events but I don't think I will after having such an unpleasant, unprofessional experience again. I am so frustrated at this point.

Team and copy and print are under staffed and take way too long to acknowledge customers have arrived at the service desk. Multiple staff members walk by casually ignoring the line up at the copy and print service counter. When you finally get service, most staff seem to have no idea what their doing and very unhelpful. I've printed many things with different staples around the city, and this one is by far the worst. A real shame because it is such a central location.

Ghazal B was really knowledgeable about the Epson printers. You can tell she cares about her clients she did very good at identifying our needs and not oversell but to sell exactly what we need. The store is in very good shape and nice except I wish they had more sales like back in the old days. I recommend this store and I recommend Ghazal to assist you. Maybe give her a raise? !

Wow! I had the most amazing customer service experience with Shawn, one of the employees at Staples when upgrading my laptop.

I asked a million questions about options for a laptop, since I needed something robust to handle my business needs, and Shawn was patient and make recommendations, so that I could make an informed decision.

Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and skilled sales representative at Staples to go to Staple to see Shawn.

I've had several orders from this location and have always been met with great customer service. The staff, especially Mariam and Azra, will go out of their way to help you with your order especially when you've forgotten something.

Had a great shopping experience with Gary at the ArtShoppe Staples. I was searching for a certain refill for a weird pen and he got the one that was what I needed. He also got me to sign up for a business account (that I didn't know would be for a small business) where I can get discounts for shopping there. I really love the people there and the place is so NON-retail looking. I will definitely be back and it may be my GO TO Staples.

Was during Covid-19 so wasn't busy at all. Friendly staff and offered to assist as they usually do. This new location is on the second floor of the building with shared space with a grocery store, I can't think of which one now.anyway there are escalators and an elevator too. They are offering curbside pickup and delivery options now. This store was previously located just south of Summerhill stn on Yonge st.

I live in the area, and I have been to this store many times over the past 23 years. Sad to see it closing permanently on Oct 23. I had another great experience yesterday with friendly staff and managers. I spent some time browsing and purchased a number of items. Among things, I tried to purchase a ream of legal-size paper, which was out of stock due to store closure. Thankfully, the manager, Azra, was so nice as to provide me with a few sheets from their copy centre as a courtesy. This saved me a trip to another store and helped my grade 3 son complete his homework assignment. Thank you, Staples! Hope to see the new store on Soudan open soon.

Staples is a great addition to this neighborhood, which lacks competition in the printing and finishing, and office supplies retail. I am looking forward to the convenience of this being right near Yonge-Eglinton.

I went to the store to buy an HP printer they had on sale. None in stock for months and unwilling to sell the one store display machine they did have. Incredibly poor marketing and customer service to be unable or unwilling to sell a product they have advertised. The sale is now over and no new stock ever appeared. The display machine is till sitting on the shelves. Too bad I have to leave even one star.

I wanted to leave a review about Staples' Printing Services, simply because I was blown away with the professionalism of one of their employees. I was helped by Jerome, who was courteous and very patient with my order - it needed a quote and required multiple steps like binding. Anyway, I had made a huge error with the order, and Jerome was very kind, patient, and helped problem solve the issue. He went above and beyond to ensure a customer's happiness. I would definitely recommend them!

Went to use the self service print/scan for the first time. Employees were super helpful, this one person named Mark walked me and others through all the steps and came back periodically to check if we were having any issues. Made everything real easy, thanks again Mark

DO NOT USE SAME-DAY PRINTING SERVICE-WILL NOT GET DONE ON TIME

Placed two same-day print jobs that were both not completed by the guaranteed time.

For the first job, I just showed up at 6pm because they never sent me a pick up e-mail. They had a huge order and were not planning on doing mine had I not showed up.

For the second job, they cancelled my order due to copyright issues and did not notify me for two days. I sent them a confirmation from the author and staples agreed to print it. I wait an additional 2 days at this point, 4 days total, to ensure its ready to go when I get there. I arrive and its not ready nor do they have any idea about my order. Additionally, they couldn't even do it on the spot because they couldn't access the document of a "cancelled" order. They had two days to notify me about this and I could have easily sent them the document in that time. The employee has me go back home to resubmit the order and ensures it will be completed immediately. I, again, give them a buffer time of 2 hours before I return. I call 10 minutes before I arrive to confirm it has been done and he JUST starts working on it after the call and ensures it will be done by the time we get there. I arrive and guess what - its not. This is ridiculous.

Usually a 2 page print at Staples comes to $0.50 or maximum $1 but here the guy did the printing for me since I was allowed beyond the counter and while billing he charged me $2.97

The two sales assistants were shouting to each other loudly when I entered the the technology section to browse the gadgets. As soon as I picked up a white calculator from the shelf, one sales assistant (I think his name was babak) hurried over, he glared at me without saying a word and not even a smile. After I asked him for the price, he pressed the calculator and passed it to me, showing me the price, again without saying a word and no smile. Then he placed it back to the shelf. Throughout the whole process, he looked very angry and unfriendly. It seemed like he had an argument with someone else and was angry to me because of that.such a shame for Staples store with these sales assistants.

Overall I find Staples to be a pretty fine store whether it's for office supplies or the odd Tech piece example laptops tablets excetera. I shop at the one on Dufferin Street just south of Yorkdale and they've treated me very well in the past. The only bad part of dealing with him is that whenever you call her stores and try to get an associate it's almost impossible. No one answers the phones the only way I got in there today what I made an inquiry was like trying out for different departments and finally touching base with the print photocopy Department. If you want to pick up something I think it's only natural that the call ahead because you can't rely on the internet in regards to remaining stock because it could be sold and and the computer not upgraded to reflect that. So give them a call before you go folks so you're not disappointed or waste your time and money. Just to give you an example I wanted to buy a particular printer by HP and I couldn't get through to three out of four stores finally touch base with one at Summerhill and Yonge and I spoke to a gentleman there that told me they had plenty of stock. There was 28 units left this is a Saturday afternoon so I went down there on Sunday afternoon guess what folks everything had been sold and they had wasted my time. So the associate gets on to the web while I'm there and orders it for me. Well I could have done that at home without wasting gas and my time. I really need to improve upon this aspect of their marketing in stores. In any case folks good luck!

Good place to actually buy big items. You can negotiate and if you forget your discount coupon they trust you to come and bring it next day. Would have given 5 stars but the parking is somewhat limited but hey, it's downtown.

This Staples location is fantastic. It's readily accessible by public transit and easy to find. I do all of my printing here and the self serve printing area is fantastic. The customer service is excellent and the employees are very helpful. Overall I have had a great experience here.
