The worst staples I have ever been to. I went to go get some papers laminated, the line was so long and only one person was working while there were 4 other employees standing at the front cash doing nothing staring at the line. Eventually the guy helped me and told me it would be ready in two days. That seemed like a long time but I was fine with that. Two days later no call nothing, the next day no call nothing, so I went in on the third day, the guy looks at me and says that it has not even been started! No compensation nothing. I could not believe it. Train your employees better to be more organized.
Terrible customer service. I got my picture taken, the physical copy was so pixelated and blurry that when I scanned it I could not use it. The next day I went back to get my picture retaken as this copy is unusable, and they charged me again for a new picture when it was not my fault that the picture they took first was blurry. This time they put the picture on a USB stick, when I went home and checked the picture even the electronic version of the new picture that they took the second time and charged me extra for it was extremely blurry. So I went back once again the following day and this time they retook my picture and it was finally acceptable and they did not charge me for the third time. I’m still surprised that the staff charged me again when I went back the first time that my photo was blurry that they took the they before. I’m sure they were not supposed to charge me again when it was not my fault. Get your staff properly trained as this behaviour is unacceptable! Why do us, customers, need to pay Staples more than one time just to get one acceptable photo taken? Also, why can’t your staff take non blurry photos? This is beyond me….
Poor support and training from the lady at the printing section. There was hardly any customers at 4.30 pm yet she was very reluctant to help sort out my Internet issues. We expect more motivated and trained staff. …. At Staples
Exceptional courteous level of service extended by Manager Mr. Marco. I observed how Mr. Marco was assisting an elderly customer with all the patience and in the most professional caring manner. I was fortunate to be assisted as well with my special item needed and Mr. Marco was most helpful and understanding. I am not seeking employment but it truly would be an honour to work with a manager as Mr. Marco who is caring and always willing to assist with a smile from the minute we step in the store. Thank you for a level of service so rare now a days! A true leader by all mean!
Their products are always so well organized and in the right places. The staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable, if they don't know the answer they always find someone who does. Prices are generally fair. I always enjoy this store.
Back to back horrible experience with the solutionShop print staff. The first day they told me the store was closed 10 min before actually closing; the second day I found my pictures I ordered for print sitting out in the open on their counter for everybody to see. When I asked if it’s normal practice, I got the nastiest of attitudes in return. Then she packaged my pictures, dropped them on the counter, didn’t say a word to me and moved onto the next customer.
Customer service and kindness are clearly a bottom of the list priority which is quite unfortunate.
For a newly built well stocked store, you still have to wait a long time for service and DON'T BOTHER WITH PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE! Not only do they insist on charging you $22 for one pair but it's the same price for digital copies AND THEY HAVE NO EMAIL! So you're going to have to bring your own USB drive to spend $22 on a digital copy. Pathetic! I wouldn't spend that on an NFT let alone Staples!
I thought it's one of the largest stationary stores in Canada and thus I would get great service. I ordered a pen online. My delivery was not arrived on time. When it did, it couldn't be delivered as I was not at home to receive it in person. Now the delivery was postponed to 1-2 business days. Do you expect me not to go to work for the entire week to receive a simple package in person?
Wanna know after 2 more days of waiting? Staples says the delivery was not successful and it's refunded.
It does make no sense at all. I'm going to use Amazon prime instead. Very disappointed and it's a complete madness.
I left my laptop for repair not only the repair cost was ridiculous which I understand but my laptop is worse. It is not even turning on anymore l. Don’t bring your stuff to repair it was extremely dissatisfying and disappointing
This location never seems to update their inventory properly. I ordered items online twice for pickup at this store and both my order were cancelled due to no stock though it showed In Stock on their website.
I am disgusted with the managers profiling. I had to go to the very back corner of the store to grab the item i needed he followed me while glaring not losing eye contact i was in and out of the store in less than 5 mins. I felt so targeted i cant blame it on my skin colour (iam not caucasian) but i dont understand why i was the target while i waited now at the front in line he kept watching me until i left still not losing eye contact. I own a small buisness that kind of behaviour is not excepted. He was an older caucasian man i would say about 50 years old white hair big bald spot at the top of his head and this incident happened at 7: 30 on July 14th.
Very good store you have everything there the stuff members are very helpful specially the menager he trying to help me for something I was looking for he went above and beyond to find it

I hadn't been in for sometime but needed an HP 902 Black cartridge. Easy to find and the price was fair. I had a chance to walk around the store and was very impressed with the addition of several categories of product! Service at the checkout was not friendly for sure but inside the store it was helpful. I was greeted several times
Empty store. Lots of machines but only one scanner. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have another scanner just in case someone is copying a book page by page. So I went next door to UPS store scanned and out fast.
The Razer Kraken headset does not work on my computer for some reason. The software does not help either. After trying all, I went to Staples, when I bought them, the clerk and a supervisor told me I could return it. When I tried to return the set, Staples did not accept the return, replace them, or anything, not even a Store Credit. Bad Product and Lousy CS Staples, they just tell you no, no, no like robots. Better training for Staples' staff is needed, so they do not mislead customers. Create a procedure like a "fluorescent label" to warn customers about final sale products. I was misled to buy a set of headphones that did not work, and later no return was available, not even exchange or store credit was offered. Lousy CS from staff, they are not trained to offer solutions. I lost my purchase due to an untrained employee or a deceiving one. Staff does not know well the return policy when selling, but they do know it when processing returns. Customers need to read a whole website before buying. Because the invoice does not mention headphones as final sale. Do NOT BUY headphones sets at Staples, you will be on the hook if something goes wrong.
The print section in this store is AWFUL. I had been in there previously and knew not to expect much but it is incredibly annoying when you have three people standing there who are paid to serve you and you have to call on them after you have waited a substantial amount of time to get any help at all. They show little to no interest in helping you. To avoid this, I tried to call a few times and no one answers the phone in this store. So you have to go in to experience the awful service. Management should really get this under control. This is a repeated experience and I will not be going back to that store.
Absolutely abysmal service. Have just spent the last 20 minutes trying to get to a person to check stock on an item THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE, in store only. After getting NO ANSWER at any of the regular options, including customer service, tried the option to notify was there to pick up an order at the curb side and after it rang for over 6 minutes (would actually hate to have been waiting for an order) got a person who when I asked to check stock just hung up on me!
One customer service lady was using quite a rude tone. The second one provided me with two shipping quotes, but offered me to do a third one at home (what? And then come back with a package? !) horrible experience. Won’t be back
Understaffed and underfed, most staff are unable to perform a level 2 maneuver.can’t say i blame them either, id have both airpods in if i worked there too!
The printing service team consists of the worst people in this planet. Rude and yelling to customers, slow and not helpful. Three hours waiting time for laminating a piece of paper which is ridiculous
This review is for Nikhil. I had major deadline for printing a document. I usually print documents at home so I was a little nervous to print in the store. The first CSR I asked for assistance was unkind and too direct for my taste. Nikhil assisted me with loading my card and showing me the operations of the kiosk. He truly made up for that other CSR unprofessionalism. I will continue coming to that location because of his mannerism. If you see this Nikhil, I salute you
Had a wonderful experience with an employee earlier this week named Mel. She helped us print stickers for for Halloween costumes. Hadnt done this before and she was super helpful sizing our logo and choosing the adhesive paper. 2 days later I went back because I needed 2 more of the same logos. These two other employees were horrible to deal with. They said they didn't have the material unless we ordered online for same day pickup. I explained what happened prior about how Mel picked the paper out of the box, charged us for 4 pieces and came back an hour later to our new logos. These employees were confused and continued to deny this was possible saying their machine couldn't print on that paper. The one girl said "oh you must've a favour done". I didn't realize that helping a customer was a favour, and Mel was just doing her job by answering our questions. These employees showed no knowledge about their job or interest to help to our problem. They ignored us and continued to help other customers hoping we would just leave. If one of them was a manager, they need to work on their problem solving/customer service skills. Complete opposite of the experience I had with a wonderful, social and kind employee earlier. If you go to get things printed at this Staples, hopefully you deal with Mel and not these two.
Just a quick in and out to pick up some glitter pens. Staff was very helpful, and I was able to pick some pens up that I weren't in stock at my usual Staples location. Would definetly use this location again.
Purpose of visit was to send a parcel by FedEx. Busy so there was a bit of a wait. The rep was 'new' so it took some time to enter the info into the system and since contents was a mix of items, food and personal, the rep had to keep checking with the supervisor for how to proceed. (Appreciate that she was willing to ask for help and she did apologize for the delays.) Once all details were entered, system came back with a message and we were told by the supervisor that Staples couldn't process the shipment. We were directed to a nearby FedEx location where they were able to get our parcel shipped. I think the staff at Staples handled the situation as best they could.
Store is fine. Staff not helpful at all. I went in to use the fax machine, and the guy told me here is the machine and walked away. Took me some time to figure it out and even upon asking he didn't help. Will not be returning to this location again
My print order was not done properly and i've been calling a few times a week since it happened to get it resolved. I've called over 10 times over the last few weeks and the line was never answered once.
Absolutely a rip off. The self printing options don't work. I tried print me, drive, and mobil email. None of them worked I had to struggle with it for 15 mins and when I asked for help the lady was like " the only option is a work station" dint sound like much of an option. And guess what the work station charges you 30 cent s per minute. And the the options suck just like their service I was giving the option all pages one copy and black one white and the print out turns out charging me one page for colour and the option the lady gave me was " you have to change it little" by waving her hand at the desktop. Absolutely incompeten people. Understaffed and a blody rip off.
Waited patiently for lockdown to get my laptop fixed. So once I got the Staples email their stores were open for in store services I rushed right away.
Was very pleased with the courteous staff, and the equally (if not more so) courteous tech repair staff.
Despite the other contrarian reviews given out by other users, the staff were very friendly, emphatic and accommodating to my needs.
They gave me a fair quote for their services, and promptly fixed my laptop in a few hours back to working order and a good warranty in case I need it worked on again
Big shoutout to Aaron for fixing my laptop, and Towhid for suggesting some items to improve my laptop's efficiency.
Manju, the woman in charge of the print centre when I was struggling to use Staples' inept website/browser), was excellent to speak with, troubleshoot with; she helped ensure a speedy and accurate order - so thankful for a competent, helpful human being in customer service here!
But Staples Canada: please do something about your terribly incompetent website - there were so many glitches/page time outs/ error messages when doing normal things and trying to upload pics/format that it made using the online platform discouraging and frustrating.
Kavita the supervisor was amazing! She helped us out with the problem we had. She's an asset to the compamy and i will definitely come back to visit her!
The young people in this particular Staples store (across from Sherway Gardens on the Queensway) are very polite, knowledgeable and gave me good advice. They seem to be up to the minute with their products. Also they have a good sense of humour and I enjoyed my shopping experience.
Over-priced often understaffed but there isn't much competition so you're stuck there. Especially for print services. If your local printer is busy or the library is closed they Staples has more convenient hours. Had an argument with a rude person in the print shop some time ago over colour vs black and white printing and she yelled at me because she did not agree with me. I miss Kinko's/FedEx office. They had better/happier customer service, more workstations etc.
Had a couple of glitches with a print order. Staff helped get it right immediately. Friendly quick service. Thank you Jules and Kaita for going above and beyond.
The Staples store here is big and has a lot of helpful support staff who can help you with all your print and media needs. There are self serve options for print and scan. The scan is free, however, you need to use a workstation at 30 cents/minute which is reasonable as you can scan even legal and B4 sizes. The quality of scans and pints are excellent. The store has everything from Swiss gear bags to crayons where you can pick as many of the colours you want.
Good, helpful stuff, when picking up my e-order, find one employee (posed like manager) who was kinda playing "do not know what to do". After all I've got my order! The name - Rob.
