There are 6 people behind the counter and only one person seems to know how to make drinks. Thought it would be faster to come inside as the drive through was super slow before. They prioritize people in drive through first.

Staff are more busy having conversations with themselves and off shift employees than making drinks. I’ve been waiting 15 minutes, there are currently 8 people waiting for drinks inside and a full drive through outside and each getting more annoyed by the second.

Dear management, I’m all about allowing a positive and happy work environment, but there should be a priority on drinks. I will never return to this location again.

We ordered in and it took 25 mins to have our drinks. We did not even have any modifications, just straight up lattes.

This location is insanely slow. Both the drive thru and inside. I’m frequently waiting 15 minutes for a drink (and as a former Starbucks barista I KNOW that doesn’t meet their drink turnaround time… not even close!). I don’t get it - it’s consistently sooo soooo sooo slow. There has to be some routine they’re not doing or some sort of management issue. Try to not come here if you don’t have to.

Online it says the store closes at 9: 30pm and I come here regularly and have sat in there until this time. Came to the drive thru at 9: 00 and sat there for 10 mins before knocking on the window just for the workers to tell me they’re closed. 4 other cars in the drive thru behind us. They just wanted to close early lol

Reply bad drive I asked fore pineapple passionfruit blended had it made second time as they put whipped cream and blended it spent 10 bucks was really mad because I dident wana try it looked gross do go there it not my first time getting the wrong drink

Waited 30 minutes for a banana loaf because all starbucks cares about is app orders and uber. Next time I'll be throwing my coffee on the floor, waste my time I'll waste yours.

In the last month I have been to this location twice. The service is extremely slow!
Both times they have 3+ baristas on staff, but you are always waiting, at least 10 minutes to place your order.
The baristas are not friendly either, except for Maritza.
The location was dirty, mop in the middle of the place with o caution signs.
I will avoid going to this location in the future.
If you value your time, stay away!

The slowest drive thru I’ve ever been to. I keep giving them chances hoping that they’ve improved and every time I regret it. The staff are always very friendly but I’m always waiting 20+ minutes for a single drink and usually there is only 4-5 cars ahead of me. There are 2 other Starbucks in a short drive away that will give just as good of customer service, and you won’t be waiting for 20-30 minutes. I’m in the hospitality industry so I try to be understanding and patient but it seems no matter what time of day I come here, I’m stuck waiting for an unnecessary amount of time considering my order.

It was so swamped and I don't think there was enough people working.i waited for 2 coffees for almost 45 mins in the store.

No shade to the workers, they were doing what they could, but it was a hot mess with mobile orders they couldnt fufill, the packed drive thu and lack of staff. Def should of turned off mobile orders.

Pre ordered using app at 11: 18. Drinks being prepared at 11: 54. Appears to be close to two dozen people waiting. Six (maybe seven) working. It’s never been like this before. Disappointing to say the least. Order just called out at 11: 56.

While waiting I noticed the girl that came in several seconds after us lined up, ordered and left with her coffee a few minutes later. Similar timeframe for a couple cars in the drive thru.

Terribly slow, placed a mobile order at 10: 35am for a refresher and didn’t get it until 11: 20am - 45 minutes for one drink! I understand it gets busy, but that is simply ridiculous.

Absolutepy terrible service. Waited over 30 mins for just 2 drinks. The first drink was cold instead of hot, so they had to remake it (after double confirming when I originally made the order), and the second drink never even came. After asking them how much longer it would be they said they didn't have any order for the drink in question. How does it just disappear? Any why would you leave me waiting like that if that were the case? Baristas were all just sitting there busy talking, with barely any customers in store. That's why it took so long and they're so disorganized. Highly recommend avoiding this location and going to any other one in the area.

Yeah…honestly the service in store is nice when i went yesterday but today (Aug 20) the drive thru service was terrible.there was a couple people infront of me but overall the drive thru was not as busy as it usually is, i was at the intercom for over 20 minutes i said “hello is anyone there” & no one answered so instead of waiting another 20 minutes i pulled up to the window after waiting another 15 minutes behind another car at the window and asked them if we can order at the window because no one answered my many attempts to order & they said we could but our order would be at the back of the line, and after the 35 minutes i did spend in the line, there was a lot of people behind me.overall disappointing because i spent 35 minutes in a line for absolutely no reason without any compensation or even an apology. The brunette with curly hair (not naturally) was also very rude when i asked if i could order at the window as well i work retail i know how stressful it can be but regardless it was very unprofessional and simply unfair.

My wife went in the store on the morning of Sept. 10th 2022 for 2 drinks. Waited 20+ minutes and they hadn't even started making them. Got a refund and left. I will never go to any Starbucks again since the same thing has happened before at another location.

Super nice and friendly staff. Be prepared to wait a bit dor your order when there's a lot of drive through traffic. Also, beware of the chairs outside, which are without back support.

Edit to comment on another time here- currently at 20 minutes waiting for my two drinks inside. I’m not sure what kind of staff shortage is happening, but if it’s management not scheduling enough people, you need to rethink your numbers. If it’s shortage of workers, then please give people a heads up about the wait when they order. The baristas are amazing and moving SO fast, but they can’t keep up. Likely won’t come to this location again.

Have been sitting in the drive through for no lie 15 minutes. Update- called Starbucks to let them know and they gave me a credit and refunded my drink. It ended up being almost 20 minutes in the drive through, and once you get in you can’t get out, so I was grateful for that!

Extremely un-pleasant experience, even after raising order delay issue to branch manager, no action was taken to expidete it. I ordered a simple coffee and had to leave without my order and without refund. Got 'you can go' response from the manager. Also, #1 overall Starbuck business process require improvements, there is no 'Notes' section in the mobile app (should note take more than few days for IT to develop), therefore a simple 'americano with steamed coconut milk' can't be ordered through the app and requires order in store. #2 The priority if orders is defined based on order creation time, regardless of order type (mobile, drive thrugh or in store), which results in line of people in store waiting for their orders but many orders are waiting for their mobile customers. We are in 2022, those issues should have been resolved in previous century!

Person at the cash was ridiculous. Asked for them to warm up an oat bar (which they do at every other location I have been to) girl told me no she couldn’t that it would start a fire. If you don’t want to warm it up no problem but to tell me it will cause a fire

Friendly staff consistently at this location. Due to COVID I go through the drive thru. I have had instances of slow service, even while using mobile order. Drinks are always tasty & hot.

Honestly some of the kindest and most friendly staff here! They were so accommodating this morning. They were SO BUSY in the drive through, pick up orders and in store orders. They remained calm and kind. I had an appointment to get to and didn’t think I’d need more than 10 minutes but I waited 20 minutes. I ended up asking the young guy at the register where I might be in the cue and he helped get my order pushed up. I was still late got my appointment but I really appreciated the customer service and accommodation. And bonus, my drink was great despite the rush. Thank you!

First, the customer service is superb! Always friendly. 3 stars for the timeliness. I know and expect Starbucks to be slow…. But this one will take you an average of 20 mins to get your order. And if you dare go through the drive through line…you are stuck for at least 30 mins. I wish I could say this is an exaggeration, but unfortunately it’s not.

Great people, great drinks. As previous reviews mention, if you order in the store at the cash, you will wait for 20-30 mins even though there is nobody else there, as all the mobile orders and drive thru orders are prioritized. This is the only Starbucks that I've been to, where one barista isn't dedicated to handle the people in store to ensure a good experience. As much as I love their coffee, ill drive an extra 15 minutes to avoid this spot when I can. Management needs to step up and rectify an issue that is being felt by a lot of people, as the other reviews show.

This is a great location! I have to admit that I used to work for the store manager, and she’s a phenomenal human being. I highly recommend this Starbucks.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Unfortunately, when I ordered ahead and was given a 2-5 minute prep time, I waited 24 minutes total since ordering to get my drink. The Drive Thru actually moved faster than my order. This location is often slow, so much that I usually drive to Innes Rd instead.

Clean (except for the washroom, it could have used a do over)
The social distance inside is good with markers, lots of room to be placed out from other customers.

Lobby is clean, and in nice shape.

Lovely staff but order through the drive thru when possible - it’s significantly faster. Both times we’ve gone inside to order (during the Covid era) we’ve waited easily over half an hour. They do around 3 drive through orders for every in-person order and will make mobile orders and call out names for people who won’t arrive for another 15 minutes.

Staff are friendly, competent and working fast so not sure if this is due to understaffing issues or poor allocation of staff resources. Unfortunately, their current system doesn’t work for inside orders. Maybe this is intention to discourage in-person ordering. We only went inside today because the two-for-one promotion said the code needed to be scanned before the order. That wasn’t true in o case and the offer could have been done through the drive through.

20 mins in the drive-thru on more than one occasion for 2 hot chocolates. For the unbelievable cost of this stuff, the least you guys could do is value my time. There were 6 of you there, surely one of you knows what your doing, as there were no customers inside.

Very disappointed how long everything took. Today the washrooms not open and no chairs and tables. Although ontario government is allowing restaurants to open. They should not be allowed to serve without a washroom.

Lady on drive thru could barely even understand English. We had to repeat our orders 5 times until she understood and she still messed up our order. When we mentioned she didn't give us the one of the right drinks, she tried arguing with us. Super unimpressed.

Went through drive-thru 9 cars back, didn't take long to get to the front. Especially, since I have a specialized order and used the Starbucks App available on Android or IPhone. In and out in 5min, pleasant and knowledgeable. You could tell staff was well trained. I forgot to ask barista to add her name in the review, thats how much I would recommend them.

I drive by 2x a day, every day. There are never less than 14 cars waiting without moving in the drive thru. I went through the drive thru last Friday Oct. 9 and waited 33 minutes.
Management: Please please please take customers orders, then any order that takes longer than 2 minutes to prepare, ask the customer to wait in the huge parking lot beside you. Bring the order out to them when ready. Keep your drive thru line moving. Someone getting 2 drinks should not have to wait for someone else's large order or an order that includes food being heated. This is done VERY effectively at Starbucks Westboro location where customers wait on the sidewalk.

Ilove to have a coffee or tea and scone amd read my book at Starbucks. Of course it's only on those occasions when I can afford it as I do find it a bit expensive. And when I forget to tell them to put less ice in my cold drink I feel I don' t get what I paid for. As I end up with approcimately only 3 or 4 sips. Thank you

Absolutely terrible customer service, and an absolute disappointment.

When I asked for what I felt was a simple drink to make — what is essentially a light strawberry flavoured coconut milk— Venti Cup of Coconut milk, add a 'splash' of strawberry açai with light ice, it was like I wasnt speaking English anymore and the cashier turned their ears off. I understand the cashier had a hard time finding how to input that into the system, because it is a rather uncommon drink and well easily confused for the popular strawberry coconut, which I did specify was not my order. Moments later, my friend asked for a grande Vanilla Latte but as a frappuccino, a little more complex, but essentially just a vanilla iced coffee that's -blended-. The cashier inputs a vanilla bean frappuccino in confusion, though we didn't ask for this. When the barista working the line were making my drink, they got absolutely hissy and arrogant with me and filled my entire cup with ice, and I mean the entire thing to the lid, which even for drinks with regular ice would be ridiculous. They refused to make my drink as I ordered it, and made a strawberry coconut. Following this, my friend recieved her drink, though the incorrect one, and when she asked staff to fix it, was denied, they believed they made it right. This has never happened to any Starbucks I've been to. It was not peak time, nor was it busy. There was one person behind us. Maybe the baristas were having a bad day, or perhaps they were just being really passive aggressive, but honestly either way I'm disappointed. Part of the service industry is knowing that a bad morning shouldn't be relayed to customers. Starbucks prides itself on good customer service, and this store was an utter disappointment.

Very nice spot to chill, would say in my opinion better to hang in groups or by yourself than to study or read as it is a bit noisy, drink was perfectly done though! Unlike some other Starbucks that does it too sweet.overall, i like this location, the baristas were friendly aswell
