One of the most inconsistent Starbucks locations I have ever been to. It's like a roll of the dice ordering from here. Sometimes the drinks are good and other times you're pouring a full one down the drain because it's too awful to consume.
My fiancée and I were here and unsure of what to get while we were staring at the menu; the barista behind the register asked us if we wanted some help choosing.
She asked us a couple of questions, and then suggested some drinks. They were really good!
We were just coming in to have some coffee and chill out but it made the experience a lot more special, so if she’s reading this: thank you very much!
I just had a pleasant experience at the 3940 Brock location. The counter staff were friendly and cheerful. Matt, the barista, kept customers informed on whose order he was making, and whether finished orders were mobile or in store. Everyone looked like they were enjoying their work. Great coffee and fabulous breakfast sandwich.
This location is the best in Durham region. The staff is supper friendly also precise in what they do. Special thanks to Mary, Carmina, Ria, Joy, Harriet and the rest of the team for being amazing all the time. Your smile is more effective than the coffee!

They remember all of the regulars by name, it is always such a pleasure to come in and receive that personalized experience. They remember conversations that happen so long ago and my drink it's always me to perfection.
I am always on the go and coffee can be such a quick and transactional experience, but this team always make the stop worth it before I head into a busy day.
I ordered at this location through my app to pick up in store. When I got there my baby had fallen asleep in the car and I could see there were few ppl in line. I didn't want to leave bb alone in the car so I called the store to see if they could just prepare my drink and let me know when it was ready for me to go in, grab it and go. Surprisedly the girl who answered the phone told me she would bring it outside for me. That was really nice and never had to leave the car. This location doesn't have drive thru.
It's Starbucks. You know you are getting some good quality coffee and food. The best part of Starbucks are the workers. Their attitude and customer service is phenomenal. They work very hard and put a lot of pride into the drinks they prepare.
I usually come here to study. I find that the restaurant is really accessible. I also spend hours sitting here and the employees treat all the customers with shared kindness. The employees are also great at their job and clean regularly throughout the day. The bathroom is also always clean. Charging ports all work and the wifi is great.
If a franchise don’t have a product which makes up the drink the worker inside the franchise should inform the customer about the unavailability of the product before customer’s order, not after making the customer wait 10 min and while handing them their order. Not even that the barista asked me the mode of payment and I replied “cash” instead of believing me she asked her coworker like I am lying. I tipped in advance for no reason. Not going again. No courtesy at all and ZERO customer service.
I go to this location for the convenience of it being the closest one to where I live. Due to the customer service, I do not mind driving out of my way to go to another Starbucks. I had ordered a Trenta Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher, with light ice. After waiting about 10 mins, I was handed a yellow beverage. SO I asked for a refund. It is one thing that this location does not have the required items it needs to make a beverage. BUT it is another thing that it is not communicated to the customer upon ordering and paying for the beverage. There were no berries and no colouring to the drink. If I'm paying for the beverage at full cost, I expect a full cost experience with every sip. If they are not able to provide such an experience, I rather have been communicated to that I'd be affected and make a decision. After I asked for a refund, the barista decided to be facetious and say loudly to the lady waiting for her drink after me "But YOU'RE okay with there being no berries right? ". This location needs to be trained again on their customer service skills. I refuse to come here again.
I always love Starbucks for their handcrafted beverages. I am usually a coffee person and when it turns to handcrafted I would try different options every single time. This time my husband and myself tried double chocolate chip Frappuccino (on the right) and for a change I tried chai Frappuccino (yep, I thought let’s try something with chai this time instead of coffee), turned out different and nice. If you like the flavour of cardamom, and you are a chai lover, you will find this awesome! I just felt a little high on sugar in this but overall it was nice experience trying it. Usually, I prefer to try different handcrafted beverages with their BOGo offer, those are super awesome! But somehow now stopped allowing buy one get one offers on the app (not sure why, but this was good) and now we need to register on web for buy one get one and you get the coupon on email. You need to Walkin and order get your code scanned with the barista, didn’t like it though. Considering the covid situations, it should rather be more contactless and I wish Starbucks could go back to bogo offer via their app then I could visit more often.
Best Starbucks in the entire Durham region. Mary was extremely attentive and paid careful attention to small details. She is pleasant and friendly with everyone. I can see her smiling even with her mask on. Thank you!
This is the Starbucks I frequent the most because it's the closest to where I live. The staff are friendly, but the service is often very slow. It's the only Starbucks for several intersections so I feel like everyone flocks here. Even with a mobile order, you will wait 20+ minutes for your items. I've only had 1 order (a food item) messed up, but they regularly craft drinks to perfection. My only caution is do not go here if you are expecting a speedy visit.
They have a 5 person max in store.when i got there i opened the door to count the in store patrons i was quickly and rather harshly told only 5 people max.there were 11 people waiting inside for their coffee.if your going to enforce the policy.enforce it properly and dont be snarky at customers when you've dropped the ball.
The coffee has always been good, but they regularly let more than the posted 5 people in the store (Covid restrictions). I feel like the staff could be more proactive to make customers that are following the rules feel safe.
Starbucks, as with many other businesses during this Covid19 period, are taking all precautions necessary to safeguard their customers - cleaning, sanitizing, physical distancing and of course tasty pastries and beverages hot or cold served by friendly, helpful staff.
I used to enjoy coffee, music and service in here but recently service was poor. I usually be discriminated when i put tip into the box and when they make a wrong order and reaction like my false. They just give the drink without say anything after that. I never get poor service like that in other Starbuck locations.
The staff at this location are friendly. A few negatives are a lot of the drinks are sold out when trying to order through the mobile app.and seating is extremely limited. They have their regulars who run their business out of here and usually occupies a table with seating for four. Becomes quite annoying when no seating is available and you see the same people in there everytime you stop in.
Love this location. The staff are friendly. The older lady there is very friendly and I feel cheered up just by interacting with her. The dude is really nice too and smiles with his eyes. Good experience overall. Highly recommend them!
Disappointed to have my mint tea served using plastic tea bags. Will not purchase this item here again until the use of plastic tea bags is discontinued
I love this place. Always friendly staff willing yo make suggestions and alterations to drink orders without being pretentious. Love the selection of Drinkware. Iwould like to see more seating and a little bit bigger of a space but overall, it's a really good, friendly atmosphere.
Don't ever order mobile orders to be picked up here. Repeatedly, they serve walk in customers first before making your order. 4 or 5 people walked in while i was waiting before they served me. Better to order at the Taunton/Thickson drive thru location from now on, even though it's farther away.
