No comfortable if you want to bring a laptop and work while drinking coffee. Terrible location used to be amazing! Head to bridgehead!

The new renovation is awful. I doubted all the negative reviews as I thought there was no way it could “look like a bus or train station”…. I am here to say that review is completely on the nose. It is terrible. They no longer want you to sit and enjoy your purchase. It’s designed to grab it and leave immediately. Awful.

EDIT: I recently went back here as the Bridgehead was closed, and it seems as if they’ve added more seating and a sign that says they appreciate the community? However there’s still not nearly enough space on the small tables to really work, and it’s mostly big arm chairs. Still not nearly the amount of space to really gather.

The new renovations are an incredible shame. This used to be a easy place to sit down, work, and it had such a bustling sense of community. Now there is one wooden bench and two small tables and the entire place feels.cramped? Squished? It's hard to believe how much they used to have there while still feeling welcoming and open when it is what it is now. It's hostile to say the least. I don't even really see why the place needed such a big change when it was so lovely before.

The baristas are wonderful (though it seems like they may have gotten rid of some of their original staff since the renos?), the drinks are ok, but it's hard to find any reason to go here anymore when the Bridgehead with much more room to sit is right around the corner (which is where it seems most people have flocked to since considering how busy it is in comparison). Needless to say I won't be coming here anymore.

Follow instructions, drinks are always delicious and they're fast too despite being almost always busy, great place to be.

Remember when a visit to Starbucks was a great experience? Stores were designed to be meeting places and full of interesting people. This store is a brand new design. The serving counter space is easily twice as long as before and is mostly empty. Lots of space for driver pickups I suppose. There are a few chairs and some strange small tables that are uncomfortable and un-welcoming. Not sure I understand the intent of all this. The coffee was still good, which I suppose is the point.

I am beyond disheartened by the renovation that has removed nearly EVERYTHING I loved about this location. This used to be one of my favorite places in the world. I'm not exaggerating- waking up at 5 in the morning to bring my laptop and books to this Starbucks for long peaceful study and work sessions easily became one of the best parts of my life since I started online schooling last year. Everything about it was perfect, from the food and drinks to the atmosphere to the lovely baristas. Treating myself to a book at Indigo and then an hour or so of reading it while drinking at Starbucks, and also hanging out with friends here was not something I should have taken for granted. There is nowhere to sit anymore, I cannot even fit my laptop on the tiny 'tables' that there are only 3 of along the bench. I know this reno was supposed to shift this location to a "grab and go" model, but what even is the point of that? Just because people commonly "grab and go" doesn't mean the experience of sitting down to eat/drink, read/study/hangout/relax has to be ruined for others.

I was so excited to see Starbucks reopen - and although the look is modern and sleek, they have totally killed the atmosphere! Seating feels like you are at a bus or train station, definitely meant to get people out of there in a hurry. This Starbucks had a real neighbourhood feel before - there were coffee groups, regular morning people, you saw familiar faces. This community feel is now void and it's a total shame. Thankfully there is a Bridgeheads nearby that still welcomes people to stay and be social with a coffee in hand. Have changed my coffee stop.

I went in today to see the new renovations. Iwas looking forward to a bit of reading with tea and a treat. There are only 4 spots to sit. I didn't bother ordering anything because there was no way to dine in as the four spots were taken.

Starbucks completely ruined the cafe atmosphere that was so loved by regulars here with the new renovations. While absolutely beautiful, more than half the seating is gone, tables have enough space for about 2 cups of coffee and a phone and majority of the seating is side by side with max 2 people per table. Gone are the days gathering a small group here to socialize or spend some time working out of the house. The staff is absolutely incredible and I'll miss them but unfortunately Starbucks seems to be prioritizing quick coffee picks up.

Always pleasant and friendly staff making sure the long lines move quickly. Love to be able to grab a coffee and wander about the Indigo store. Seating for about 30 with a variety of tall stools and low chairs and tables.
Edit September 2023! This location has now re-opened after an extensive renovation. New pics! Looking very chic and clean… lots of wood and natural tones and colours with plenty of bench style seating! Grab some great coffee and wander through Indigo!

This used to be one of my favourite Starbucks locations to sit and enjoy a beverage, snack, coffee date…but the new renovations have made it very hostile. There is almost no seating anymore and no patio currently (early September). It’s very much been redesigned to be a takeout only. Super disappointed. I guess folks will go to Bridgehead next door for a proper coffee date or to sit in and enjoy.

Checked it out after the “upgrade”, they’ve gotten rid of all the seating. What was once a bustling and lively cafe is now a grab-and-go station for commuters. This was one of the few places within walking distance of the adjoining communities, very sad to see it go. Another death of the ever dwindling third place.

I am so disappointed and saddened by the new renovations. This was such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere before the renos. The big wooden tables are gone. No longer feels like a warm, welcoming atmosphere to relax, enjoy your coffee, read a good book, or to study. There were so many familiar faces (other regulars), that I'm sure feel the same. Feel like the vibe of the place has been turned into take-out only, no-chill zone.

I went in for a Unicorn Frappechino, but instead I got an Americano. Glad I did! Thanks for the great advice from Amber. Love all the milk alternatives too.

Winning for a coffee and a lunch sandwich. Went and sat down to wait and never got my name called. Finally got impatient and went up and it was sitting there for 5 minutes. They need a better system to call out names or have a screen that displays when your order is ready. They also need more plugs to plug cell phones and laptops in for charging.

Always has been one of the best locations been going here for years. Had great service by Amber she was stellar! Left with a smile on my face and a great drink.

Always feel welcomed when I get my almost daily coffee. However I feel that cleaning takes the back seat when it comes to daily tasks. The bathroom is very dirty to my standards.

I didn’t know it’s Ok to give allergens in coffee when people didn’t ask for it. I spotted they did 2 mistakes during preparation of my order. It wouldn’t be serious if… They wanted to give regular milk to coffee when I asked for soya milk. I can’t have diary under any circumstances. When coworker did second mistakes I asked to talk to the supervisor. I wanted to tell that coworker might make again mistake and give allergens to another customer. Aaron - didn’t solve the issue, had very rude behavior. And even didn’t apologize. I was advised by other customers to send email to head office. They said it’s not acceptable what just happened.
I don’t think Starbucks should be the place for this kind of behavior which Aaron demonstrated. And topic of allergy and intolerance should be taken more seriously in this place.
Very bad experience.

Got beaten half to death by an employee. Had to get an ambulance as I had internal bleeding

I mobile order to this store roughly 2 times a week and the staff are always amazing, my order is always correct and they always have it ready for the time estimated on the app!
