Starbucks

Interacted with an incredibly rude staff member this morning when I was asking a simple question. Turned straight around and headed to Bridgehead. Just because it’s 5am doesn’t mean you treat people so poorly.

Pro: Good customer service Con: This location does not accept the Starbucks app as a payment method.

I don’t know why airport food places always get bad ratings — some of them are really nice, like this one. The service was super quick, the staff were friendly and the food delicious. They also had good selection of options to choose from.

Absolutely awful, don’t waste your time here. I was travelling on an early AM flight out of Ottawa airport. I was there around 4: 40am. My flight boarded at 6: 05am. The 2 staff were at the Starbucks when I arrived at 4: 40. They told several people they would be open at 5am. At 5am, they told people it would be 5: 30am “when their boss arrived. ” The 2 girls then went back to the staff area and gossiped for what felt like forever. We could hear them giggling and talking trash about people. They would peep their heads out the door to see how long the line was - growing by the minute. They never told us when they would be open. At 5: 54am, they emerged from their gossip sesh and started working without their boss, which they easily could have done 55 minutes prior. At that point, many people left to catch their flights and I myself left because l needed to get something to eat before my 5 hour flight. Absolutely terrible experience. No communication, no service.

Took 45 minutes to get my order and food. Very, very long line. They need more staff and faster service.

Impressed with how long they were able to keep a steady pace.
The lines were endless with so many boarding and waiting.
Filipino lady who I seen in the place across went to help them take order and get simple food items, which was nice to see.

Fast service cause its an airport you cant be slow. Cookie was okay. Drinks were good. Filipino lady was super funny and friendly.

Really nice staff. Great service. Fresh and tasty drinks. Thank you. And it's inside the secure area. Gotta cross security first to get it.

It was just too crowded. Waited 30 mins to even place an order. They should find some other way to speed up the process.
Otherwise food and drinks are as usual.

“Not set up to accept the app”…. Why not? The app is an efficient payment system. All my gift cards are loaded onto the app and now I have to pay additional money out of pocket because they won’t accept it.

I expect Starbucks to accept their own payment system

Prices higher than a regular Starbucks. Doesn’t take the app. So slow after ordering that I had to leave my food behind and substitute my latte for a coffee so I wouldn’t miss my flight. Wasted money. Avoid.

It's 2022 and they can't scan the app. It's not that they can't use your Starbucks card, they just need a physical card. If they didn't accept Starbucks cards at all, I would be understanding. This is simply a case of not having a scanner at POS. As we come out of a pandemic that emphasizes contactless payment, this is not acceptable. At least not for an airport or a major coffee chain

Staff were friendly. Ordered a Turkey provolone sandwich. Only one half of the sandwich had meat and cheese other half just bun! Not worth the price.

Airport Starbucks. Great Southwest wrap and coffee. Only downside, they don't have a scanner for customers to use their app.

Had only 2 people working and I overheard manager telling employee not to throw out expired lemonade and iced teas because she wanted to use them the next day.
