I got a terrible haircut, uneven, pretty close to a bowl cut. Paid for the Starks treatment but just had a towel run under hot water thrown on my face. No massage. Still insisted on charging me for the Starks package.

Bilal is the best! Very professional barber makes you feel like you’ve known each other for years, have been getting my haircuts from him for almost a year now and can safely say that i’ve never had any complaints… only compliments would definitely recommend to anyone

Barber was fantastic but the front desk have always been so unpleasant. After my third visit, I was fed up and decided to look for another barber.

Worst place to get your hair cut and here’s why! I paid 40$ for a “premium” haircut in which the stylist couldn’t give me a simple number 2 on the sides, blend on the top. No straight razor to the neck, the hairstylist kept dropping his tools. I left this place looking like dumb and dumber. I honestly had to go to sport clips down the street to get them to give me a straight number 2 across the whole thing it was that jacked. It was the most embarrassing hair cut ever. Not to mention this place has the highest turn over rate I’ve seen. One week a lady would cut my hair I would call to make an appointment the next and they would be like “oh hun she don’t work here no more”. Just very bad over all. This was definitely a last visit for me

It was actually my hysband who has been given a discount coupon, he's got great hair, but has had several dussapointing cuts, this one was outstanding, so woukd highly recomend this place. Thankyou.

I love to take my son here for his haircut. The staff is really really nice and accommodating. Byron (the manager) is very friendly and always willing to help in any way he can.

If you register online you can refer customers, share the love with them and give them a 50% off coupon for their first visit and in return you get a discount. It's great. I use them for my boy bc no offense to ANY hair stylist or barber, but I don't feel it's right for a 5 year old 15mins haircut to be worth 30$ + no matter where I go. My hair on the other hand yes. I will pay what is rightfully due but the avg cut for a young child is 30$+ so if I can get a discount for him I will take it but most importantly HE LOVES going there and he never was a fan of going. So that to me is why I go to Starks Stouffville. Anyone with a child would understand the struggle.

My son had shoulder length hair, very wavy and thick. Had a haircut with Taylor e, fantastic cut he was so so happy! Wonderful place, very nice and professional, but also very friendly.

Had an amazing experience! Was very professional and welcoming, would suggest asking for obi because he gave me an amazing cut and took his time to make sure it came out perfect! 10 out of 10!

Edit. Byron has been really good at keeping in touch with me, refunded my past experience that wasn't great. Went back recently and things were fine.

Getting a cut here is an experience that leaves you feeling great. The female barbers that work here are amazing at what they do, and will make sure that you are very well taken care of. I have been going to Starks since they first opened in Unionville.

Always great service and great for customer experience. It is definitely tailored to make you feel pampered and is more than just a hair cut.

Would have appreciated a call to let us know our stylist was planning to leave when we were running late for our appointment. Especially when I mentioned during booking that we would try to make it on time from an earlier commitment out of town. Why else do they take your phone number?

Updating my review to highlight my AMAZING barber Lauren! She gives me the perfect fade every single time I come in. I've tried different lengths and types of cuts and she's never let me down. 5 star barber, who can probably do a fade with her eyes closed!

Best barbershop in Stouffville. Use to have to go out of the area for a great haircut and now I can stay local! Very professional, clean and just an awesome experience! Highly recommended going to Starks!

You're fooling yourself if you are going anywhere but Starks to get a hair cut. Great hair cut, great service, great atmosphere.

Not a great experience. I’ve never had anyone rush so fast to get through a haircut. From start to finish it was less than 15 minutes including a wash, only to get home and have my wife point out missed spots/inconsistent length. Place looks nice and staff were friendly enough, but they tried to rush so fast for no reason (no one was waiting; it was not busy).

One of the barber experiences I have had. Was booked in at 30 min notice even though they were fully booked. Made sure I was comfortable and delivered a crisp, tight fade. Great customer service from Taylor and she was a great barber. Definetely reccomend.

I have been going to Starks for many years. Recently I started going to their location in Stouffville and I must say it is my favourite! Lauren is my go to girl and she knows exactly how to properly cut and style my hair. I am always complimented on my hair and I highly recommend this place.

I guess it's hit and miss with the barbers. Went there for the first time, received arguably one of the worst cuts I have ever gotten.

Had my first haircut here yesterday and really liked it. KJ was excellent. I gave her some direction but also told her that I trusted her expertise and she was able to come up with a really great style for me. The space is really cool too. A bit on the pricier side (about $40 incl.tip), but I think it was worth it. Will definitely be going back!

First time customer at Starks Barber Company. They’re open for business. Easy App to book appointments, choose your favourite female stylist, time, day & treatment required. Very friendly receptionist, open concept high ceiling designed space. COVID compliant spaced wash area and chairs. I got the full treatment, wash, style, plus scalp & shoulder massage. I highly recommend this professional ‘all-female’ staffed barber shop located beside the post office, on Main Street in the country town of wonderful Stouffville.
