Worst flat white I have ever had, it was served in a strange mug with no handle so it is hot to pick up. Server was very slow and qute snippy. Will not return

The atmosphere was great, and it was a super nice place. The food was okay. The muffins were just a bit dry.

Amazing little coffee / restaurant / bar. We only stayed in Grimsby for 2 nights but we came here 3 times. Twice for breakfast at 8am and then dinner one of the evenings. The homemade cakes and treats are amazing - recommend banana bread, coffee cake, lemon/blueberry square, morning glory muffin all 10/10. Breakfast sandwiches lovely and the nachos / quesadillas too. Thanks guys

I'm not sure why the ratings are so high. As a resident of Grimsby, I want to like this place.

The food is mediocre, coffee is skuny, beer lines need to be cleaned. Beer tastes like newspapers, no matter what beer you order. I've been here many times, keep giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Service stinks.

This place has so much potential, they just can't capitalize. I'm done spending my money here.

Cocktail lounge? There were signs outside advertising for such. When we walked in, they told us it was closed, only opens sometimes, like a speakeasy. Ok. Cool. I'm out.

What an amazing venue to hold a special reception. The staff were so flexible and accommodating with the food and setup. On the day of the event we had a dedicated staff member who took care of everything. Would definitely host an event here again!

Best place for good food and good drinks in town.
Amazing things to do like trivia nights that happen every Friday!

Held my daughter's bridal shower and it was perfect! Lauren and staff were excellent and so accommodating. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent.

This place is all over, we sat inside and was told find a table and a server will be with you and that menus are on the table. There are couches and half door window dividers everywhere, it's pretty dark inside and we had open tables with garbage on them and most had no menus. We waited 15 minutes of not being served, I waved & made eye contact with 3 people then said excuse me the the girl who told us to seat ourselves. Maybe it was a slow day but to me it was super busy so I don't understand why we were even asked if we wanted water. The menu is alright if your hipster, super healthy and just sandwiches or nachos and breakfast sandwiches would I try again? Maybe if service was faster but it truly wasn't worth my 25 minute drive for a place rated so high just to leave to eat somewhere else. Reviews aren't always what they seem.

Sadly customer service was not very good. 35 minute wait for 3 coffees and one sandwich when the place was at less than 40% capacity

No moccacino which is hard to believe for a coffee shop.didn't know what one was either but offered to make me one. I have a nice Lemon square which was good. Nice patio facing north and lots of interior seating. Limited parking

Great little shady patio out back. Iced oat latte and gf free peach donut were very good! Love this spot.

My husband and I went to Station 1 almost weekly prior to the pandemic. Enjoyed the sandwiches/paninis, coffee and date squares. Finally decided to go back today and walked into a somewhat different look, which is ok. Unfortunately, the same sandwich we previously enjoyed was not enjoyable at all. Ordered the turkey brie sandwich, it should be called cranberry turkey sandwich. Sorry to say, but I did not enjoy the sandwich at all! Had to remove over half of he cranberry spread, the turkey had no flavor and there was a thin strip of brie. They now served it with a side of mixed greens, not salad. The sandwich and a coffee cost $47.00, which included a tip for the server (that is new as well). Seems high for what you get. Not sure if I will be returning in the near future which is sad as Station 1 was one of our favorite places to go for a lunch.

Great place to go for a small lunch or to sip coffee (or beer) while working on your laptop! Friendly staff. Good prices. Funky interior. Good music.

Took a short stroll through grimsby this week and stumbled upon this coffeehouse.

The club sandwich with the mixed green salad was amazing! I've never been here before so I was expecting deli turkey etc.when we got the sandwich it was real shaved turkey with an amazing dressing that complimented all the flavors!

We also enjoyed a peach crumble bar that was delicious!

Will definently stop by again if we are in the area!

I love this coffee house and every time I go through the Niagara region, I make it a point to drop by for a coffee and pastries.

The quality of the coffee is excellent and there is a wide range of pastries.

They have a great patio in the front, indoor seating, and picnic tables at the back. You can either line up for self service and take out or sit down and be served.

Love the vibe!

Really nice place for a tea and good grill cheese. Lots of desserts plenty of cool spots inside outside bring your dog. It's a very comfortable coffee shop

Food is so good. But the service is soooo slow. Waited 15 minutes to get a menu.another 15 minutes for our water and in total we were here an hour for 2 sandwiches. This is a regular occurrence.

Only had a water while I was there but the staff are nice and there's a large offering for food. Can't wait to come back and actually have some of their menu items haha

Had an amazing lunch with a friend yesterday in their back patio … food is always so good here & a unique ambiance - Sam, our server was so much fun & very patient she offered some great suggestions - always an awesome place to stop for a coffee and/or quick bite. Their drinks are amazing & they even offer a doggie breakfast which we will definitely bring our pup for very soon! Love it here … a gem in downtown Grimsby!

Update: May 14,2022 - Service was bad. The server just didn’t care. I asked for something and she completely ignored me.the food is didn’t taste good. I got French toast and bacon. The bacon was burned and the French toast is made with sourdough and multigrain. They don’t have any normal breakfast options, just pretentious hipster choices. The only thing that was good was my latte again. June 12,2021 Getting served was confusing this morning but it was the first weekend of patio dining after being closed for months. I had to stand in line to order for patio dining and the same line is for takeout as dine in.ordered a breakfast sandwich but the “bread” was actually two very greasy eggs. The coffee was terrible (burned and watery) but my latte was very good. As excited as I was to “dine in” we probably wouldn’t return.

Enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon of the patio. The food is delicious and arrived in generous portions. My Cortado w/oat milk was great. I'd recommend for any coffee lover! The flatbread pizza came highly recommended so I tried the chicken & cheese and I was not disappointed! Real chunks of chicken and tons of cheese. I was able to try the Hawaiian as well and I can say it's probably the best Hawaiian pizza I've tried. Fresh pineapple and real chunks of ham. Our waitress was helpful and courteous. The interior of the building is gorgeous. Looking forward to sitting inside when the weather is less desirable. I will definitely be hitting up Station 1 Coffeehouse whenever I'm in Grimsby!

Came here for breakfast yesterday and absolutely loved it! Food was amazing and all the workers were so kind. Got our drinks almost immediately and about 10 minutes for food. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Grimsby to give this place a try:)

Unfortunately not the best experience, the order was served late and the coffee was cold. They also brought different cakes than what we ordered! Hopefully it was just a busy day and the service is generally better.

Pre-pandemic, this was one of my favourite study spots. I’ve spent countless hours studying in the back. Staff is pleasant and always make awesome flat whites!

I have been to this cafe a handful of times, and generally enjoyed it. Take out service is slow and today I met snarky behind the counter. Really rude and I agree with some other postings that the cafe needs to replace her or provide some intense training so customers feel welcome.

Excellent selection of coffees and teas. Baked goods were of very high quality and tasted amazing. Looking forward to being a regular customer now that I live in the area.

I brought a friend/business associate for lunch on Thursday and was really disappointed in our visit. The tables were filthy and staff weren’t clearing dishes or wiping down tables. Our sandwiches were subpar for the price too. I’ll be back again to grab a coffee, but I will think twice before bringing anyone for a meal.

Atmosphere was great - cute place. But quiche was very much defrosted and not well. Quiche middle was spongy and watery and cold. Did not try coffee though.

Great food and service. Has a really ambience. I will definitley be coming back again. Only downside, is the chocolate eclair was with dark chocolate, very disappointing.

Charming atmosphere and eclectic decor! I love that they incorporate other local businesses with their beer & wine selections. Great spot in winter or summer!

The Americano was so strong it made me one with the speed force. The breakfast sandwich was likewise, delightful. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options if that's your jam. Will be stopping in again the next time I am in Grimsby.

Great light food. The salads were and paninis were awesome for lunch. The price is a little high for cafe lunch but really good.
