Staybridge Suites London, an IHG Hotel

People really need to understand this hotel is not like the other Staybridge hotels, very very very dated, the TVs are that old cable TVs. The furniture in our room was some what damaged, the lamp shades was damaged and holes in the wall. In one of the bedrooms there was some hard black stuff under the mattress sheets in the corner (possible dead bedbugs but we are unsure). We rented two separate suites. Both families were not overly happy with their stay. This hotel reminds me of the hotels that have hosted homeless people during covid, I ask the receptionist if this was the case but she stated she was unsure due to not working at that time. Please have no expectation when staying at this hotel.

Pros:
The breakfast and coffee was really good thank goodness. And we didn't have any issues with service or reception.

Our reservation was cancelled good morning we were supposed to go there due to "unforeseen construction"

We were welcomed with a smile. They could not do enough. Breakfast was great with large selection.

Great service, hotel, location all around. The Manager, Abhi was very accommodating with our requests. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in London.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites in London for a bereavement.
The staff was kind, considerate and very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and breakfast very good. The service was more than expected. I would certainly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here at any time.

There are homeless people camped out underneath the stairwell at night so be mindful when staying here

Great staff and great place. Aapti and Soumya were the two front desk girls who were amazing. I will come back again in summer with my kids. Good pool.

Stayed here on a business trip, rooms were clean and had everything you could need, if I'm out this way again I would definitely stay again. Friendly service as well.

I stayed at Staybridge Suites for two months. Feb, 23 -Apr, 23 following my neighbour's apartment fire as it smoked me out. After staying at another Hotel for three nights my parents researched and found me Staybridge.
I had been fighting with my insurance company so they were trying to help
The day I checked in I was not in the greatest mood. I had only had maybe 4 hours sleep in 3 days. The staff were friendly, welcoming, patient and understanding. Verg helpful too. If I needed anything I just had to ask. Alnost immediately I got it.
The housekeeping staff were great.
Always knocked to drop off towels.
The rooms were bright, clean.the bed was a Queen size and comfortable.
Breakfast every day was awesome!
Always use nice to come down to a friendly face with a "good morning"
A nice variety of foods & beverages served fresh. My favourite was the waffle maker's.
There is a small heated pool that I was in quite often. Worked wonders for the pain I was in. It has a fitness room to burn off calories and stress. A social in the lounge Mon - Wed early evenings. Light snacks and salad foods.
Sometimes I would sit and chat with others or take food back up to my room.
The parking lot has plenty of spaces.
There is a "business office " area to make calls or use computers/ printers. I practically lived in there too. Restaurants, Tim Hortons and the 401 are close by.
I only had one problem in two months.
Not at all the Hotels fault. A hockey team group was there one weekend. They were slobs, loud, rude, dis-respectful to other guests and the hotel.
I actually felt bad for the staff as they were doing everything they could to stop the disrespectful guests and respond to complaints. As for the Hotel. I was made to feel welcome and at home. I will miss all of the staff. I Will stop in to visit.

This is an absolute beautiful hotel. I didn’t have the best experience but it had nothing to do with the hotel but the guests that were there. A hockey tournament took over the hotel and the kids were running and banging on hotel room doors for hours. The staff were very apologetic and upgraded my family to a suite and put us on a quieter floor. Every staff member I spoke to from the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make you feel at home away from home 5 stars for customer service hands down

Spend our March break in London and we are glad to chose this hotel. The rooms were large with great room service. Breakfast was served with a warm smile and everyone in the kitchen were very courteous. They offer help and make you feel at home. The pool was nice and clean and well maintained. The gym was well equipped. Free laundry service was a unique thing we all enjoyed. The hotel is pet friendly and maintain all arrangements for pets. The staff at front-desk and in general are very friendly and they make sure to meet all your expectations. This hotel stay made our trip enjoyable and we highly recommend this place.

I had booked Staybridge hotel to visit my family in London Ontario. I must say it’s a great place to stay and the service is excellent. The room was very clean and the front desk was very quick at responding. Great experience and would definitely book with Staybridge every time I visit. Thanks

Absolutely our favorite hotel in London, ON. The staff are super friendly, the room are spotless and amenities are excellent.

I also wanted to express sincere appreciation to Ms. Irina who attended to our complaint about not receiving room service after having request it. Ms. Irina was amazing, and she personally and promptly attended to our concern. She even followed up closely with the housing keeping staff to make sure we received the best service as always.

Thank you Ms. Irina, and you are truly what IHG staff friendliness is all about. Looking forward to our next stay at this Staybridge.

Great clean hotel. The room was large and well set up. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The heater worked well. The inside view was nice and quiet.the breakfast was included with the great selection and tasty coffee. Very happy with the stay for the price paid.

Stayed here for 28 days during my training & it was great. They have breakfast every which which they alternate so you don’t get sick of it. They also have social hour Mon-Wed with some basic hot snacks on the food bar which was also nice.
It was clean & the staff was so great.
They have free laundry on site, pool & gym.
Parking was also great.
Meal delivery (Uber eats etc) will also deliver right to your room too. Which I enjoyed.
My only complaint which is through no fault of their own is the sports families on weekends.
It’s loud & pure chaos. Complete disregard for all other guests goes out the window. It was bad enough that I ended up leaving on weekends and drove 2 hours home so I wouldn’t have to deal with it. Maybe they could have advised people to be more respectful to other guests I suppose.
But overall my time there Monday through Friday was great.

We had booked a 2 bedroom king suite. Got there, checked in.got to the room and it was a 1 bedroom 2 double bed suite. We requested the room we had paid for, and they claim they didn’t have any left. We didn’t get any compensation. We had booked through a third party website. I wasn’t aware that this was going to be such a big deal, considering this hotel has given this website the confirmation of rooms available, and booking ability for the rooms, they should all work together on everything. The website was of no help, and the hotel didn’t do anything to compensate for money lost on the room.

Nice rooms, decent size, clean for the most part. Very expensive for what you get though, one of the main reasons I went through a 3rd party website. Hot Breakfast was gross, eggs, bacon and sausage tasted like they were a week old. Muffins and bagels were good. The day staff was unpleasant. “Pooja” was not friendly, and had a very bossy attitude. The night staff was very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t get his name unfortunately.

Likely not to return especially since we didn’t get compensation for the loss of space and sleeping room for us

Great stay at the staybridge. Upon checking in we recieved amazing service. Soumya at the front desk was amazing with accommodating our family and making sure we had everything we needed. She was amazing and the perfect person to start our stay off right! Only complaint is ice maker, dishwasher, soda machine etc clearly need some updating as they are out of service! But the front desk staff was able to provide help to make sure this did not affect our stay!
