Fix your auto generated attendance calling system first, and then I'll revise my review. I'm fed up by receiving phone calls on each and every number even if we listen and accept the full message on one phone line. You guys even started calling for late arrivals.

I attend Stephen Lewis Secondary School, and I have to admit that I have had a wonderful time thus far. In all facets of student life, the school strongly emphasises anti-oppression and inclusion.

The teachers genuinely care about the success of their students and are informed and compassionate. They go above and above to create a warm atmosphere where each student feels respected and at home.

The commitment to anti-oppression and inclusivity is truly unmatched and the teachers and environment make it a great place to learn and grow.

Half of these reviews are fake. Updated feb 2023. HARDEST SCHOOL EVER. The grade 12 math department will make you fail regardless of your situation. The teachers make the questions impossible to solve. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! Coming from a current grade 12 student.

I honestly really like this school because it is very multicultural and welcoming. I would never have went to any other school. I made lots of new friends here that I am grateful for. Everyone is very nice here. I enjoy my classes and I'm comfortable with the teachers. The physical education department is the best by offering many extracurricular activities, especially in a time of crisis. Stephen Lewis really helped me stay connected during the pandemic

I recently had the opportunity to visit a school that truly stands out from the rest. This school is truly unique, and I was thoroughly impressed by what I saw during my time there.

The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful and innovative design of the school building. The school has been designed to maximize natural light and create a bright, airy and inspiring environment for students to learn in. The school's outdoor spaces are also used to provide a hands-on learning experience, with well-maintained gardens, a greenhouse and an auto vehicle garage.

What sets this school apart from others, however, is its welcoming community. Each student has a learning plan based on their individual strengths and weaknesses, and the school's teachers work closely with students to help them achieve their full potential.

The curriculum at this school is also unique and focuses on experiential learning. Students are encouraged to take part in projects, field trips and laboratory settings that allow them to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Hands-on education like this not only makes learning more engaging, but it also helps us students to develop important life skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Finally, the school's supportive and inclusive community is what really sets it apart. The school has a strong culture of kindness, respect, and inclusivity, and it was clear to me during my time that this is a place where students feel safe, valued and appreciated.

I would highly recommend this school, and it will surely have a positive impact on the lives of its students for years to come.

This school is so terrible its sad. Literally attending online for 1 days attending all my classes and the school says to call the office and let them know you are online or they mark you absent. I had my uncle call the office twice for no on ethe pickup, then we called guidance and they tell us to leave a voicemail to which we do and then I receive a call after school saying I was marked absent. Them got yelled at because parents thought I was skipping. Great job. Marking me absent for attenting online just for 1 day. Terrible school system

The worse school you can send your kids to. Had problems with marking and racism and the school's management is not welling to solve and help the students and parents. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

If there was a option for zero stars I would of gived it. A guidance teacher named "ms. **sher" said I would never get into engineering program/university. And advised me to go into business (no offense to business streams it just don't interest me). Fast forward to today graduating this April with BEng in Civil engineering. Can't wait to visit Stephen Lewis and meet ms. **sher again. She was truly my motivation. The school is bad, all the teachers think they're Einstein with 180 IQ. I bet I can teach better than these so called teachers. Join st.joan of arc its way better then SLSS. If st.joan were to compete against SLSS students in educational competition peel board would be scratching their heads as to what in the world is being thought in SLSS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!

Teachers overall are alright, however some just show up to get paid and don't put effort into helping students and are very careless of students and what they do, as many students get violent and get up to no good all around. Overall, a dangerous place to send your kids.

Really bad school.
Teachers: some teachers are good and nice, but a lot are just bad, don't care, and don't teach enough content.

Students: 0/10, the kids here are usually toxic and engage in very suspicious activity.

Overall 2/10.

In this school the Councillors are basically only there to sabotage the student career's and want all the students to be a labor force, they are only told to go to college.my theory is that because the main population is colored the Councillors just want to prevent as many of these students from getting into Uni.the Teachers dont really try to teach the only reason the grades are up is because most of the students either get tutored or are naturally smart.many teachers are actually racist in this school.this is a very bad place to send your kids.

My daughter attends a Saturday language class here. Today, we were a few minutes early in picking her up. We were about to go up the stairs to head to the classroom and this middle-aged white lady from the school’s office quickly comes after us then rudely tells us that we can’t head to the classroom until 12: 25 pm. She goes on and on and even tells me that the sign posted at the entrance is also in Mandarin. I guess she just assumes all East Asian-looking people understand Mandarin. She was a b***ch.
