Steve's Music Store

I bought a keyboard from here when I was in high school. Took piano lessons and would practice on it. Thank you Steve's Music for giving me access to a hobby.

Steves Music store in Ottawa is now hiring very friendly people! I must admit, I refused to shop for quite a few years here because of the rudeness of the workers there. Yesterday we purchased a portable PA system, and the gentleman was very nice, very amiable and we appreciate it! We will now consider shopping there again.

These guys are great. Still provides good service and they know what they are talking about.

Amazing experience! Love the workers. Good sense of humour and good attitude. They tuned and fixed my guitar while explaining to me the issue, they sold me a nice cord for it and I got a free show of the worker playing guitar! Haha will come back this summer and buy a violon!

Took my guitar in to have the neck adjusted after I messed it up. Pat helped me on the spot and even fixed a few other small things that needed to be done. I went in assuming I'd have to leave it and come back later next week, but Pat had me in and out in less than a half hour.

FANTASTIC service!

Picked up a DDJ 800 and a subwoofer over the last few weeks from Here. Got helped by Ricky both times and he was fun and very helpful!

Stopped in to pick up a microphone with my partner and Rick + Dan were so so helpful helping me pick one out. I said off the bat I didn’t know a heck of a lot about sound and needed a decent stage mic that I could also use for recording. They kept me in my budget and were fantastic guys to talk to. Super knowledgeable and kind to boot. Thanks guys!

Good selection of acoustic guitars (Martin, Taylor, Godin, Seagull, Takamine, Art & Lutherie, etc.) and had a cool small fender vibro-champ amp.

Worst customer service I've ever met. I came to spend almost 2k and they had to give me excellent customer service. But when I asked someone to help he just disappeared, telling me he has a customer now. But actually, he didn't. Others did the same unattentively behavior.

They have good selection and knowledgeable staff. However on many occasions I felt like I was bothering them just by walking in the door. Felt like walking through a prison wing with everyone staring but not saying anything. I can understand because the majority of people want to try instruments and not buy anything. I’ll keep coming back, but I do hope they can improve their customer service.

This is a well established music store with a huge selection. I highly recommend this store for anybody looking for a new guitar or drum set.

Best place to visit and buy. The vendors are very friendly. Parking in the back of the building. All the products are the excellent quality. I like Steve's Music store very much.

Nice customer service and great product selection. I dropped off my bass at the shop so they could restring it and do some routine checks/maintenance on it. It took a bit on the long side to get done, and after I got my bass back the action on my new strings was a bit too low (had some rattling). I had to make some readjustments myself, which didn’t take too long.

It’s where you have to go for music stuff in the area. Is there any other really, lol. They have what your looking for.
