I have been trying to learn stick for s couple years now, I’ve had at least 5 different people try and teach me and after countless amounts of hours all have failed. I heard about gtastick and decided to give it a try and can honestly say I had the best experience I could have gotten. The driving instructor Stan, is thee best. I took his 2 hour course for maximum time behind the wheel and left with more than I could have asked for in just 1 lesson. He understands the instructing role very well, he is very friendly, easy going and calm. He knows how to explain everything you need to know very efficiently and keeps it as simple as possible. If you’re looking to learn I highly recommend taking his lesson, I wouldn't say I left a professional because nobody will be on the first time, practice makes perfect. However I can say I am confident enough to get in the driver seat and take on the open road after just 1 lesson.

I'm buying my first manual and decided to use Stick GTA. I had Stan as my instructor and it was a wonderfully crafted lesson. Getting the appointment was extremely simple, no more than a minute on the phone. We spent a good chunk of time on clutch work and stopping and starting. Stan was extremely patient and explained concepts in a very clear and concise manner. He gave lots of very useful tips and had a very practical and realistic approach to his curriculum. The car was clean and very nice. This is the best option for those who already have their licenses and want to learn stick. Would recommend 100%!

Driving with Stan was easy. I felt no pressure to get it immediately. He went over the basics of driving a manual car and even gave me tips to avoid stalling in traffic. I recommend that anyone interested in learning stick give him a shout!

I had a lesson with Stan. I took the 1.5hr option. He was very patient and understanding with me. He was descriptive about how to maneuver a manual car and I think 1.5hr was enough time to learn the basics. He covered important skills needed to drive safely in the local road.

There’s no better teacher than Stan. I took two classes with him since i started a new job I had to drive manuals and I wanted to learn how to drive them properly. You can’t go wrong with Stan, he’s so patient and the best part is you will learn to drive manual like a pro!

My experience with stick GTA has been great. I do not have any negative comments about stick gta as everything they provide is spot on! Stan was so approachable through out the process and he even got out of his way to book me a different instructor as I was only available on weekends. Subrina is such an amazing instructor. I would highly recommend her to everyone who wants to learn a standard car, learning with her was easy and the whole session is just driving around while having nice talks. It really takes out the pressure of being behind a standard car. She’s very insightful about the ways and techniques of driving a stick shift. She taught me in a very professional manner, If only I could give a 10-star rating I would. To add, I’m on my 3rd booking this coming weekend that just shows how good this team really is!

Stan is the man - he is a patient and very clear instructor - in the span of the lesson he goes through all the realistic scenarios one can encounter while driving, and you never feel rushed in the process. He works at your pace, is realistic and honest and adjusts the lesson to what you specifically may need to focus on further.

Stan is a wonderful instructor when it comes to learning how to drive manual. He has been patient with his instructions and is very easy-going so you do not feel under pressure or stressed out. He explains concepts first in an easy to understand manner and then has you practice it in real-time. I booked both a lesson + driving practice and found it a necessary experience to get familiar enough to drive on the roads alongside traffic and other cars.

I never drove a manual transmission before and Stan made the learning process felt way easier than I was expecting. He's very patient and encouraging, and he took me though various scenarios to show me how to work with the pedals and the shifter. If you've been only driving auto transmission, this is def something worth trying.

Stick shift driving can be an adjustment if you are used to driving automatic, but Stan makes it feel easy. He is jovial, very patient and sets you up with step by step instructions so you know what to expect when going through the motions.

Experience makes him good at anticipating what issues his students might run into, and when it comes to pricing and scheduling, he is way better than the competition; by far.

Amazing experience with Stan! Really cool guy and was very flexible on where to meet me. Amazing teacher. Was my first time driving manual and he was able to teach me everything I needed to know, all the questions I had were answered and I was driving on the main roads in less than 2 hours! Also has a really cool WRX definitely go to him if you’re trying to learn.

Amazing experience! I spent some time learning on my own and didn’t get as far in 2 days as I did with Stan. He’s patient and friendly, and taught me many useful tips so I’m way less worried about my trip to Europe. Would definitely recommend!

STAN IS THE MAN! He is extremely polite and upbeat. He takes pride in teaching manual driving and walks you through every scenario you will encounter as a beginner. I will admit, I stalled countless times, but Stan always explained why and how to correct it. Was able to drive around comfortably at speed after the first hour with Stan guiding me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAN!

I went in with zero experience driving manual. I certainly did not expect to be driving around town after about an hour (of course your mileage may vary depending on your own abilities). Stan knows what he's talking about and a great teacher!

After 10+ years of driving an automatic car, I purchased my first manual transmission car (which was extremely discouraging for the first week). Stan showed me some extremely helpful tips around taking off in high pressure situations (i.e. Left turns at busy intersections, starts on a hill). He's very kind and communicates clearly, but most importantly is very encouraging and really made me feel at ease.

I took a drive with Stan for 2 hours and I have never driven a stick in my life. In the span of those hours, I was driving on the main roads no problem. Amazing instructor and a supportive friend who understands all levels of driving beginner or amateur!

Stan is just the best! I’ve been driving automatic for more than 25 years, but recently had to learn manual because of a car I was gifted. I was so nervous, but Stan eased my fears immediately! His calm and very relaxed demeanour helped me learn how to reverse and switch into 1st gear successfully during my very first class. (This is the hardest part). It took me only 4 classes before I was confident enough to call myself a manual driver. He really knows his stuff and is good at encouraging and motivating you if you face any challenges during your driving session. He is also super patient and clear with providing instructions. I would HIGHLY recommend using Stan if you want to learn to drive stick. He’s truly awesome!

Showed up right on time, even though I booked my appointment less then 24 hours prior. Both me and my friend needed lessons ASAP for our new jobs and he didn’t hesitate to book us in. Extremely professional, I didn’t even feel like I was with a stranger, he was super friendly and made sure I understood all the concepts extremely well. He showed demonstrations and then made sure I could get as much practice in as possible. Lastly, he made sure if I had any questions he’d be able to answer them and get rid of any uncertainties I may have.
