Stitch It Clothing Alterations & Dry Cleaning

Brought pants in to be shortened into shorts. Woman taking the order was very curt (rude) and as I was trying to explain what I wanted cut me off and said “yeah, yeah I know what you want”. Well, she can’t read my mind so obviously she didn’t…what I wanted was a simple hem that I could roll up. What I got was a pair with a roll up stitched in. If she hadn’t have cut me off I would have finished explaining that the shorts I brought in as an example were for length only…not to copy the style of hem (not that it was copied the same anyway). Moving forward I would recommend that your employees slow down, and actually give the customer a chance to explain what they actually want. And then double check that they have it correctly written down. I also did not appreciate the “tip” option before receiving my item…why would I tip (or even pay for that matter) for before receiving service? However I did tip anyway because I appreciate a job done but in retrospect I shouldn’t have…Shorts are okay, not exactly what I wanted…but I expect a better experience for price paid…no, I won’t be back…

The service was made but the rudeness of employees was not well received. Not only when dropped the clothes but when I picked them up too. Will not go back for sure (Limeridge mall)

Went in to see if they could do some patches on a shirt and they don’t carry material to do that. How are you a alteration business and you don’t have materials. Very disappointed.

Did 3 pairs of jeans and they are perfect. Done by next day even though they said they couldn't. I'll be back!

Husbands leather winter jacket zipper slide malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. Heavy duty zipper so they unfortunately didn't have any matching slide in stock, but I was able to get one and went back and they replaced it quickly and very inexpensively. Staff there is friendly, helpful and fast.

Friendly staff, went to multiple tailoring places and this was the only one who was able to do it within my time frame. They did a great job on some very heavy duty work coveralls, with a good price. I'll be back

Went in to have a pair of suit pants, the woman said that they would be finished by friday. The moment i said that the funeral i am attending is on friday, she looked at me and said "they'll be done by the end of the day tomorrow"

The reviews don’t lie, the work is amazing! The lady who runs this location, (her name has slipped me. Nadia?) was very communicative and pleasant. I had a broken zipper on my winter down jacket and the work looks great. She even asked if I wanted a two way zipper instead which I really appreciated as the original did not have this option and it’s something I wanted. Turn around time was good, price was good for the quality of work, I’ll be back. Thank you

Can always count on Stitch It to do a great job to make clothes fit perfectly but have to pay a premium price to do so. Quite expensive and adds significant cost to a piece of new clothing.

Pant hems they are on point. Great service in a timely and prompt manner. Hems of shirts being taken in aren't perfect. They don't smooth the transition under the armpit area so it bulges a bit. Nobody is perfect. So if you need a pant hem, whether regular or euro hem, this is your place.

I always use Stitch It if I don’t have time to do it myself but, I can never do as good of a job as they do!

Had positive experiences and used this location often. However off late I've had unpleasant exchange with the lady who took my order and worst are the unreasonable price increases. Not likely to use again

Been having pants & jeans altered in this location since it opened, this is the best job I’ve ever had done.

We were in need of hemming on short notice for a funeral. Nadia promised to fit us in and followed through.

Has been good in the past but not pleased with the recent dry cleaning of my highland kilt. Multiple plates were pressed incorrectly. Took an hour of my time with an iron to correct this issue. In the past the cleats would be hand stitched. Will be seeking another place for this service as the item is too costly to return here. Note the drift in the crease in the pic attached.

Brought in my jeans.they were all ripped up at the bottom. Got them back looking like brand new!

This was my first experience at StitchIt Limeridge. I went in with a long skirt and brand new pants that needed some altering.

I was greeted nicely and professionally. The whole experience was quick, and yet detailed. I was shown options as to how my items could be altered, as well as asked what my preference was based on comfortability.

Pricing was great, and absolutely fair. I was told my items would be finished the next day, by 4pm for pick up (I was expecting at least a day or two). Low and behold - my items were done and ready by 12pm the next day! Amazing service, amazing pricing, amazing ladies!

Thanks, ladies! My vintage Levi's came back exactly how I'd imagined them. Perfect work, as far as I can see. I'll be back.:)

Lady rushed me out of the store with showing me the craftsmanship of her work prior to paying.
