Always receive friendly and efficient service from Stitch It Pen Centre location. The price is very competive and love their texting system when your order is ready. When you come on a weekend it can be busy.

The work they do is excellent BUT dry cleaning is expensive & stitching. No longer stitch on patches

I got my dress tailored here, it took 1 minute for her to pin it and then it only took 5 days for my dress to be tailored. My dress turned out amazing and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Amazing place to get alterations done for any occasion.

We have gone to Stitch It for our various alteration needs and we always have a positive experience. They have repaired and restored jackets and gowns and they have done alterations on dresses, suits etc. Most recently they not only altered formal wear for our teens but it was done so quickly that we were amazed! Really appreciate the amazing staff and good customer service/experience.

Don't go there to get your clothes dry cleaned! I brought my Artizia coat to the place to get it dry cleaned at the end of Oct and they ruined it. The fur on the coat was totally burned and it's not fixable. I went to the store for at least 5 times and tried to get the issue settled. THEY STILL COULDN'T SOVLE IT AS OF TODAY. It has been 2 months since the issue happened. Dawn the store manager promised me to call back to provide me an update on a certain date. I haven't heard anything from her. I called back, the staff told me she was not even in. She also asked me go back again to drop off the receipt which I did 2 weeks prior. They are not going to do anything about the time and gas I wasted to solve the issue they created for me. I emailed the customer service. The first email went great. They promised me to solve the issue. When I emailed back and asked for their buy back policy, nobody replied me back for almost a week. I still haven't heard anything back yet. It's a terrible place and take your money somewhere else.

Very cost-friendly and great quality! I brought my Roots hoodie I to be stitched at the seem of the pockets and you can’t even notice it ever ripped in the first place! Thank you so much and for being extremely kind as well! I bought a sewing kit for $1 as a bonus because how can you not?

Had my dress hemmed and it came out beautifully. Service was excellent and I got my dress back a day after I handed it in. Great convenient location

Update: their solution is to ignore my questions and concerns and tell me to bring them back to be recleaned. A completely unsatisfactory solution for damaged items and the expense incurred buying clothes to wear while these are redone at another cleaner. Not to mention the exorbitant price paid originally.

I brought in some blazers for dry cleaning, and first off was surprised at the price. Nearly $25 each, when my last place would charge maybe $15. Fine, maybe they'll do a good job, whatever. Then I get the blazers back.

I had 6 for cleaning. 4 still smell like they have been worn, and one has such bad ironing burns it is now unwearable, which also happened to be my favorite. I am extremely disappointed in the dry cleaning service offered and will not be returning. Hemming and alterations are good, but don't trust their cleaners.

Yesterday, the lovely ladies at Stitch It in the Pen Centre were able to hem my pants within 10 minutes after learning I needed them for a wedding and that the original time frame for the alteration wouldn’t work. I’m very grateful and am leaving my first ever business review just because of them. Thank you!

Oh my gosh - so helpful! I went in thinking I had to replace a wole zipper and lining on a jacket and the seamstress simply switched out the broken part with a spare she had in 5 minutes! Plus she gave me great advice on how to fix another simple issue myself.

Dawn was really wonderful, she helped me navigate my pant alterations and they were done in a very timely manner. She was polite and professional!

She ensured my spouse Company's jacket was attended to, she followed up as it had a variety of work needed, called to give me update and stated when the jacket was available for pick up. I've had several zipper repairs both with Julie and Dawn. Both were quick, friendly and able to help me on the spot.

I highly recommend the friendly, skilled tailors at Stitch It. They were able to help me short notice for a funeral. I am non-binary with a feminine shape and a masculine style. I tried several tailors but all others were not willing to try and make my blazer fit. Tailors at Stitch It were not only kind and understanding, they were also confident with the challenge! They did an amazing job taking in the shoulders and sleeves, and I'm very happy with the service! Five stars.

I had a wonderful experience at the Pen Center location. When my husband and I walked into the store, Julie was already showing exceptional care for an older lady by offering her to sit down in one of the alteration booths in order to relax on this hot day. Julie quickly tended to my husband and I whom had came in to get a new zipper put on two pairs of pants. We expected to drop them for a couple hours and come back. Julie had a much speedier approach in mind. Before I could barely even explain what was wrong, she was off and had both pairs of pants back to us within 5 minutes and ensured we tried zipping them ourselves and were satisfied with the work performed. Excellent customer satisfaction and extremely fair prices. Thank you to Stitch It and Julie to taking care of your customers and representing the company with pride.

I’d been declined alterations on a very intricately assembled dress elsewhere. Upon hearing what I wanted, the only response was, “of course we can do that”. Maintaining the integrity of the geometric design, they able to take in the dress on both side seams as well as rework the chest. Once again it fits like it was made for me and I can continue loving a very special dress. Reasonable price with a super fast turnaround!

Walked in first thing when they opened, needed my pants hemmed asap as I'm a procrastinator and needed them for tomorrow and the lady helping me got me set up and finished in 10mins! Stitch It offers a splendid tailoring service. I had a button-down shirt hemmed and the result was flawless! The prices are reasonable, so the store is certainly a good choice for anyone requiring alterations.

I needed some work done on my work uniform with an urgent turnaround (24 hours). The staff there pulled out all the stops to get my items done in time for the event I needed them for.

I brought a new (ish) cardigan in to repair some damage that my dryer had caused, Julie came out quickly, repaired the tear in my clothing item, did it right away, no appointment. She didn’t even charge me. Thank you, so much!

I took a dress in for alterations and the staff was very flexible and accommodating with my short turn around time. While being fitted, the lady was very professional and took great care to explain all the steps involved and how they would alter the dress.

I had custom ordered my wedding dress online. When I received it, it was 4 inches too big. I took it to the pen centre location and the lady that helped me was amazing. Her name is Dawn. She made me feel so much better and pinned me up in my dress and reassured me my dress would be perfect. The seamstress, her name is Home did an amazing job fixing my dress! She even hand sewed a blingy belt on my dress and she reenforced the button eyelets on my dress as they were starting to fray. I highly recommend this business. Thank you so much Dawn and Home

Waited 15 mins awkwardly in the store front waiting to be helped by staff. Staff was dismissive and wanted to get me out of the store as quickly as possible. Wanted to charge me $70 for a zipper replacement. Got it done at a local talior instead for $36. Do some looking around before coming here

Wow, went to get 9 shirts taken in and shortened. Just guess what they wanted to charge me. $85 a shirt! What? !
Went to a local seamstress for $15 a shirt.

Took some pants to be altered this week. Julie was lovely, a pleasure to deal with, and did a fantastic job with the alterations.

The lady that helped me was lovely and it was very fast! She even went above and beyond to have my pants ready a day earlier so that I could have them when I needed! Even though it was short notice!

We had a wedding this summer, it was less than a week away and Dawn said to bring it in and they'd get it done. My dress had a lot of detailed sequence, but her team was able to get it done on time and they did an awesome job. They also fixed my daughters maid of honour dress, she had used the woman at Stitch It at the Fairview mall for her alterations. I would not recommend her at all, she was rude and grumpy and needless to say did a half done job since Dawn's team had to stitch, tuck and gather. Plus when I decided to pick up my dress because I didn't trust Stitch at the Fairview Mall with it after seeing my daughters dress, she wasn't going to give me my money back and she hadn't even started on it yet. Dawn did it for a better price and her team were so nice, I would highly recommend them.

I would like to commend dawn on her customer service, she did everything in her power to get my granddaughters banquet dress shortened in less than a day, she did all that with a smile on her face and a promise that it would be done in time. Thank you dawn

I brought in an expensive ball gown that was not tailored properly by the person I went to before. It started ripping and there was issues with how it was fitting. I was so stressed and annoyed.

I went to Stitch It and Paula worked on my dress to make it fit better and fix the issues from the pervious person I went too. Paula did an amazing job and she was quick! I was really impressed.

Excellent and friendly service. They helped me into a proper fitting pant and had my alterations done in 15 minutes.

I have been using the Stitch It location at The Pen Centre for a couple of years now and they do exceptional work. Not once have I had to return an item to be redone, as it is perfect the first time, every time. The prices are fair and the service is very efficient. Turnaround time on a job is almost always met, and the one time it wasn't they had it ready within minutes of my arrival. Most times I am served and measured by Dawn, who is always pleasant and informed about what needs to be done. I rely on her judgement always, which is unerring. The team is great and work well together. Definitely worth a visit!

Had some pants to be dry cleaned, but whatever spray they used on my three pants ruined them as it looked like some kind of bleach was used by the dry cleaner. Won't bother anymore with the dry cleaning.
Some pockets are faded and parts of the pants are not good. So now I have to buy brand new pants and that cost so much. The staff are wonderful but the place they send out dry cleaning are the worse.

Do not go to this place! Literally turned dress pants into capris! Took them in over a week prior to us needing them, go to pick them up which was already a hassle since they blew up my phone yesterday telling us "oh can you pick up later in the afternoon" when we needed them for this morning as we have a wedding out of town, bring them home and boom we get f****** capris. They're so unorganized! Completely unprofessional! And now we are most likely going to be late for the wedding since we have to rush around looking for new pants!

I need to let you know about an incident that happened at your store this afternoon.
At about 5: 15 pm, a friend and I came into your store, the man that was In front of us was so rude, he was yelling at the manager that handled herself so well, this man was putting her down, yelling that she better give him his money back and that his pants were not up to his liking.
The store manager aplogized so many time and even told the man that she would fix his pants in 5 minutes,
But he wasn't interested, I'm sorry but this woman should not have to be put thru that kind of abuse.
Again my hats off to her.

Wonderful service! Took a gown in to have a beaded/embroidered belt stitched on for my daughter's graduation and have some additional alterations done. The customer service was excellent and the seamstress did an incredible job. Couldn't be happier with the way the dress turned out and the fantastic service!

I've been taking my stuff here for years, and I've never had a problem. Dawn and the staff are always pleasant and realistic about the timelines required to alter clothes.
