Excellent service. Had a Draw-Tite #76128 hitch installed on my 2018 Honda CRV Touring. Hands free lift gate still works.

Made an appointment to replace a bent spring hanger on my 5th wheel RV, replace all 14 hanger bolts and after welding on the new hanger check the welds on the remaining hangers. Dropped off the RV at 7: 45am as requested. Reviewed with a tech the work to be done and was told it should be ready by noon. If anything came up they would call to let me know. Not having received a call by noon I stopped by to get a status at 12: 15. The RV was still sitting in a bay while all the staff was on their lunch break. One of the techs wandered over and said they would need to keep the RV for a couple of days. What? Well the hanger bolts were replaced as requested except the one on the spring hanger which had to be replaced. Seems their welder was too busy to get at it for a couple of days. No apology, no I'm sorry, nothing. Just excuses, like, we can usually fit these small jobs in but we got backed up. So why did I not get a call earlier telling me this. Oh the office staff are so busy and did not have time to make phone calls. Wow. I said I needed the RV and could not wait a couple of days so would like to settle up and take it away. Fine he says. I will get someone to pull it out of the bay for you. What he did not mention was someone (in this case him) would go back into the shop, finish his lunch then pull it out 20 minutes later. Not an apology, not an offer of compensation or do you want to make an appointment now to bring it back and have the work completed? Nothing. Simply terrible customer service. I will find another shop to complete the work.

Sharing my very disappointing experience at Stittsville Trailer.

I took my trailer here just to check my brakes, making sure they were in good working order to keep my young family safe on our camping trips this year.

They called me to get my plate # and the man on the phone was not very friendly. Gave me a hard time about my trailer plate # (not everyone has their plate memorized), I did call back and give my plate # to a friendly lady. However, when I went in to get my trailer, the man told me I was 'the guy that never called me back with the plate'.

There is a clear disconnect between staff members.

I was quoted 1h labour if nothing had to be done to my brakes (just inspection). 1.5h if they had to do something. The unfriendly gentleman called me at 2: 45 and was unable to find my trailer, which is why he asked me for my plate. I got a text confirmation from the nice lady that my trailer was 'found' and in the shop at 2: 57. I then showed up at 4: 05pm and my trailer was already in the lot. After waiting almost 20mins to get my invoice printed, they charged me for 2h labour and absolutely nothing was done to my trailer other than saying my brakes were fine.
I told them I would be willing to pay for 1.5h, he insisted my trailer was being worked on at 2: 30pm, even though it was "found at 2: 57pm".
I was treated poorly and overcharged.

For all your trailer needs, don't waste your time here, head over to VOS Trailer down the road. They know what they are doing and customer service is top-notch!

Jason called me the day of my appointment to see if I was on my way. When I arrived he was waiting for me and went over my order. He told me it would take about 2 hours. Almost exactly 2 hours later, he called to say my vehicle was ready. There were no surprises at the cash, just the quoted price. I have been there before and would recommend Stittsville Trailers for hitch installation.

I had a problem with the lights on one of my trailers not working properly with a new vehicle. In a discussion with Trevor, in a few moments he figured out the issue and resolved the problem. Stittsville Trailers had been my "go-to" trailer hitch and trailer wiring shop for over ten years. If you want it done right the first, this is the place to go.
