Stone Mill Inn

Stayed here the night we had our wedding at Johnny Rocco's. The rooms are spectacular and very clean.

Had a wonderful overnight at Stone Mill Inn. Easy access from either the QEW or 406. Well-appointed, generously sized room made for a pleasant stay. Great location for venturing to the many nearby wineries. Very close to some excellent restaurants.

We loved our stay at the Inn. Great location to grab a Starbucks in the am or a nice bottle of wine at LCBO. Also close to the wine regions and outlet malls. Room was quiet nice and clean. Also great meal in the adjacent restaurant.

If you’re consider attending this establishment - please reconsider. Stonemill was used this year as a venue for our corporate holiday party and the staff blatantly disregarded food restrictions that have significant ramifications. Multiple people have celiacs disease, which is an autoimmune Disorder that causes your body to begin attacking itself if the person consumes gluten (wheat, barley). There were NO safe food options available at dinner. People raised concerns that they could see breading on items and staff blatantly disregarded concerns and told them that it was gluten free and they were fine. As this food was clearly not safe to consume for these people they elected to not eat dinner, which is never an acceptable option at a formal dinner event. These people ended up becoming gravely ill after the event and upon following up with Stonemill it was determined a good item that was deemed gluten free and did not have and visible wheat products contained “just a little bit”. This is a serious medical condition and the safety and well being of these individuals was completely disregarded by this venue. I urge you if you have any food restrictions or related medical conditions or are someone who cares about those that do please do not book/attend this venue.

Johnny Rocco is always amazing but seeing alot of sketchy folks staying at the old stone lately

Our daughter had her wedding reception in the beautiful ballroom this past October. I can’t say enough good things about the Stone Mill Inn. The food and service were top notch. A special thank you to Madison and the Stone Mill Inn staff for all your help and hard work. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue for a wedding, look no further than The Stone Mill Inn. Excellent, excellent, excellent in every category.

First got to the hotel wedding party, when we checked in to the room internet not working plus very noise hard time to sleep.

Stay Away from this Hotel, Third class boutique hotel.

Beautiful building, our room was fantastic and service was very good. We were staying over night because of a wedding. Rates were reasonable.

Wow! -What a gem! Oversized room - 2x than a Toronto condo! Exposed brick. High ceiling. Great wifi (I worked). But for me - the comfortable sheets and pillows brought this over the top - I had the best sleep ever! Overall, We enjoyed our 2 nights stay with trips to Pt Dalhousie Beach, tours of wine country, nights at the falls, and entertainment at Johnny Roccos. We lll be back again. Warm thanks

Attended a business meeting at the inn and had a great time. The venue itself is breathtaking and the food was delicious. We have a variety of items from the Johnny Rocco's menu including rice balls, pizza, bruschetta, spinach dip, and parm chips which were SO good.
It was my first time here and I'd definitely go back and recommend this to friends.

Upgraded to the large suite and was very happy with the spacious room. Everything was clean and the bathroom was large. 5 minute drive from the Pen Center (shopping mall). About 15 minutes from Niagara on the Lake.

Very rustic building with great accommodations. Enjoyed our weekend stay for a wedding party. Would highly recommend for receptions and stays for events.

This hotel did not disappoint! I was looking for a decently priced hotel for one night in the Niagara region that offered a boutique experience and The Stone Mill Inn delivered as promised. I was definitely a high maintenance customer because I had a lot of special requests such as arranging for chocolate covered strawberries to be ready in the fridge, coordinating flowers with their florist to be ready in my room and for the restaurant to coordinate room service with a special lunch for my family as soon as we arrived. Plus I needed early check in at 1pm instead of 3pm because I had a wedding to attend. Lastly, I have a service dog and they were able to make special provisions for us. Gina, the hotel manager did not disappoint- she even went beyond the call and had the room ready at 12pm (an hour early). The room was incredibly spacious and had a lovely private balcony, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. It also had a kitchenette was a small fridge and microwave. Everything was modern and well maintained (can’t say that about my experience with the vintage hotels that charged me a fortune in comparison) and the robes and touches like the bedding, pillows and accent pillows really completed the boutique experience for us. It’s not on the main drag of hotels because it’s in St Catherine’s but I have done the Niagara on the lake thing where you stay close to the strip and I think you get more bang for your buck here if you have a car. Oh by the way, you don’t have to pay for overnight parking here! The exerior of the hotel is lovely and they do a lot of weddings here! I honestly never do this but I’m gonna give this place five stars because it’s such an amazing experience. Thank you Gina and team, I will definitely come back in the future!

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Room was amazing, warm and welcoming. Super clean. Staff was very, very courteous. Exceeded my expectations. It's a 5 star plus! Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Close to Niagara falls without having to pay the exorbitant prices for Niagara hotels and their damn hotel taxes.

Quirky little hotel in a gorgeous restored stone building. The agent at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable but could use a bit of regular maintenance. Only a slight issue because we really enjoyed our stay - so quiet and peaceful.

Hotel is a lovely stone building with magnificent main stairway. Rooms are very nicely appointed beds are comfortable. Main desk is not manned 24hrs, although there is a contact number. Unfortunately there was a party being held in the next door room, with desk not manned I had to complain directly fortunately other occupants were apologetic and it quieted down quickly.

I really loved this hotel it's absolutely gorgeous. Attended a wedding at the venue which was catered by the in house restaurant Johnny Rocco's. The food was so amazing very nice quality Italian cuisine. The rooms in the hotel are stunning as well. The only downfalls I think were that the restaurant is so busy that it can be over crowded in the lobby and lounging area, not great if your looking for an intimate experience type of stay. They also have a very very strict noise policy that I think might have been abitttt over bored, not so great if your going with friends or other family members.

The food was fantastic and the wait staff extremely professional. My only complaint was the noise level.i was hoping for a quiet romantic meal but we ended up having to talk very loudly to each other. Perhaps soft dinner music in the background?

Fantastic place to stay and relax. Staff, rooms and building are top notch. No pool if that matters. The restaurant is very good and not rediculously priced like most hotel restaurants. Will do definitely stay here again if in the area!

Attended a wedding here recently. Everything from accommodation to service to the food was absolutely top notch. One of the best weddings I have attended in no small part to the execution and planning on the part of the staff. Super impressed and will not hesitate to recommend the Stone Mill Inn.

Banquet staff paid no heed to a potentially life endangering allergy. Servers were asked multiple time if the food was allergen free. Servers were unsure and responded with "I think so" when questioned if it was safe to eat. After the plate being removed and a new one provided, with one difference, and it still appeared to not be a safe meal. When asked again the server required multiple prompts before agreeing to go ask the kitchen. Another server ran to the table and yelled "don't eat that! " The same server then returned with the exact same plate and stated that it was fine. At this point, after three attempts, it did not feel like a safe place to be eating.

Excellent, beautiful, banquet facility with nice party rooms for business and family events (xmas parties, weddings, etc).

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Hotel is amazing and the food at Jonny Roccos is delicious. Everything about this place speaks to you, simply gorgeous. If your in St Catharines do yourself a favor and stay there as you wont be disappointed. Enjoy As I did. Shawn from Hamilton.
