This is a popular restaurant serving a wide variety of great food.

The serving staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. They also have an outdoor patio area that is open during the summer.

1st time at Studabakers, a small group of 10 of us got together for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food, the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

First time; I would definitely come back! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere!
They were kind enough to have it noted that you could sit on patio, but wasps/bees were out in full force, so we chose inside!

The service was top notch, they took pride in every meal they made and it shows. Great for a relaxing good time.

We were three. Easily accommodated with no wait. Staff friendly and helpful.

Our orders were taken and arrived quickly and efficiently.

Wings were devoured by my two companions, with starter for one poutine and the other the Bavarian pretzels. I enjoyed the Singapore noodles with Bam Bam shrimp.

The menu cries out for further visits.

The food was good, but it was super loud inside. There was a tiny ghetto douche guy hanging around touching every woman he walked by and checking out every woman in the place. He was super sleazy and we thought he worked there because he acted like he owned the place, but he doesn't. I think he had a few kids with him but it was hard to tell as they just sat alone in the corner in a stroller. I believe he was there with a local street walker who also had a baby with her, but she left, hopefully to rethink her choices in life (such as hanging around with a 5 foot loser)

Stuabakers is hit and miss for us. We have been there a number of times when we are at the Port of Orillia and sometimes the food and service is very good, and other times, not so much. Once they forgot our order completely and when it came some of the items were missing but still ended up on the bill, other times everything goes smoothly. I still like the atmosphere so will keep going despite the odd challenges

Not a place to get tacos imo.presentation wise they looked nice but upon first bite the flour tortillas were served cold and dry.

Los Cabos tacos - full of bacon strips and BBQ sauce (too salty), lacks actual chicken (also dry)

3 amigos tacos - bland dry ground beef tacos that come with sour cream but no real sauce. Very mediocre/disappointing

Angry churros - amazing and served hot with caramel sauce. This was bomb!

The parmesan chips were really good. Good kids menu. Service was sporadic. Lemonade tasted like cleaning fluid (literally- confirmed by my sister before I told her what I thought it tasted like). No apology from server when I sent it back. Overall the food seemed overpriced and nothing made this place stand out. Not bad, but I won't likely go back.

I went to Studabakers for dinner with my family and ordered the Cali & Avacado Tacos. The server and staff were pleasant and atmosphere was great but the taste of my meal left me a bit disappointed. The Avocado on the tacos was not even close to being ripe, very hard and the guacamole that I ordered to go on them was more like a mayo/relish sauce.a green tarter sauce.
There was not much flavor to the tacos nor the corn salad on the side.
I did like the idea and think if the Avocado had been ripe and actual quacamole was on the taco it would have been good.
Definitely lacking in flavor.
Loved the view from the patio and the manager was also wonderful.

This place has a great menu selection and an awesome patio. Great location near Orillia downtown and waterfront. Depending who your server is, service can be a little slow and they might not get your order right but everyone is friendly and welcoming.

Update: returned and had a great experience. Great patio, friendly service, yummy food!

Notre serveuse, Venus, était WoW! Rapide, efficace, gentille…lés assiettes immenses. Même pas pu finir. Mon mari a pris un le Shake and burger et c est plus gros que sur la photo! Le prix est très abordable… emplacement à quelques pas du quaie

Came here with my family on a Sunday night. Food was hit and miss. The Cauliflower taco was a standout favourite. The Tuscan chicken salad was alright. STAY AWAY from the shrimp linguine, it was lacking flavour and very bland!

They kept bringing us the wrong items. They tease us with promises of water by glass but no avail. We asked for water multiple times but they kept forgetting about our severe dehydration.

Overall Studabakers was a mixed bag.
Food was good minus the Shrimp linguine.
Service was all over the place.
Location was nice parking is limited.

Try at your own discretion!

Two words: SPINACH DIP.

Seriously, I don't even remember what I ordered to eat as my main meal because the spinach dip was so phenomenal. Given the option between pita bread and nacho chips, we opted for both. Zero regrets. I'd almost say it's worth the trip for this alone.

The location is convenient if you're on foot; however, their parking lot for the restaurant itself is relatively small. We went on a Sunday and were able to take advantage of a lot across the street, although I doubt this is open on weekdays. Outdoor seating was plentiful, and we had a short wait for a table. Our waitress and the hostess were both pleasant, friendly and efficient.

We will most definitely return the next time we are in the area.

It was our first time there, we loved it the girls was so friendly and nice, they were making sure everything is ok or we need anything else.we highly recommend whoever visits Orillia

Not wheelchair or stroller accessible. They have the space to make a ramp too but I guess they don't care? Honestly can't believe it

Very disappointed. Very pricey. $18+ for a burger that was missing the fried onions it was supposed to come with. They put 2 tiny pieces of raw onions. Not what the menu said and the burger meat itself was not seasoned like the menu said. First time I have ever salted my burger. Fries were on the colder side. Plates are huge but half empty.

Looks like they are more interested in the waitresses than the food quality they serve.

First and last time. Cost us over $65 for 2 mediocre burgers and 2 beers.

The drinks were good but the cheese dip for the pretzel appetizer was cold and flavorless and the the pita for the spinach dip was hard and stale.

Family n I had a great trime at the restaurant, great everything wish more parking, but ofcourse u have crazy construction goin on,

Showed up at 730pm, got seated right away.
Service was good and efficient. Everyone is happy to see you!
Ordered the Alabama Club, it filled me up no problem. The beers were cold! Will be back.

Always a great time! Good music and good food. Wings are always a must here, and we really like the spinach dip. This particular visit the macaroni wasn't very good, the tortilla chips were stale, and the corn salad didn't taste fresh. Still a great meal and night.

Wasn't able to get into Studabakers as they don't accommodate outdoor patio dining for people who have dogs. Find this unusual when it's common for restaurants to allow dogs.

The location is nice and I'm sure it will be stunning once the construction is done. Our server was fantastic friendly and professional however the food was the blandest most pedestrian I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I'd go back for drinks on the patio but I will not be eating here again.
