Never ever go to this place… i ordered chicken karahi and crispy paratha.chicken cost me 17$+hst n its taste was burnt and so bad, crispy roll cost 11$+hst, was old, chicken was refried and pratha had bad old oil, it was so hard to chew the food nd m pretty sure gonna get food poisoning… price vs quality is so poor infact below standards …

Was there on Friday for spicy chicken Biryani. Biryani looked bad, smelled bad and tasted awful. It was not fresh and went straight to trash. Service was good though

$10 for this buffalo chicken sandwich and my first bite was bun and lettuce…here’s the rest

Worst place … I ordered veg biryani and had chicken pieces in it and lady said we can’t refund back … poor service and admitted themselves that they’re using same saddle for veg and non veg food.

Prices are very high for the Quality this restaurant is serving. Service is really slow, there is only one piece of chicken in biryani. Really disappointed with them for cheaping out on protien. Why would someone pay $30 for just a container of rice, Never coming back.

It was by far the worst Biryani I've had. There was NO flavour and they took 30 mins to make one order of biryani. Do not recommend.

We ordered halwa puri. The puri was hard like a cracker as if it was 2 days old and the chickpea curry was balnd and dry.

I visited Student Biryani recently and tried their chicken biryani, dal fry, and roti. While the service was commendable and deserving of a 5-star rating, I was disappointed with the taste of the food. Unfortunately, the flavors lacked the freshness and deliciousness that I associate with Student Biryani restaurants in Karachi and Dubai.

Had ordered a chargha. First of prices online were different than original. Online it said half chargha to be $14.99 but yes it to be$18.99. When chargha came it was tasteless. Spices were raw and wet and felt like curry spice. Anyone who knows authentic Karachi chargha would know that this is disgrace in the name of chargha. Wasted my money

Please dont go there, no taste at all and found a wire in the middle of the chicken biryani

Karachi is not a financial capital of Pakistan, it is also food capital of Pakistan as well. Among the other Street foods of Karachi, Biryani is one of the most famous and favorite food of this city and Student Biryani is a leading Biryani food chain of Karachi. That's why Student Biryani franchises are open in different other countries as well. In Canada we also have its franchise in Brampton and other cities. As it is a famous franchise of food people visit this place to get taste of back home. For the same reason we visited Student Biryani's Brampton location last week. The restaurant was well decorated with pictures and history of Student Biryani's but when we ordered Chicken Biryani, Bihari Kababs and Chicken burgers we found the taste of was not even close to real Student Biryani we used to eat in back home. Food was served in disposable containers even we were dinning in. Quality and quantity of the food was also very disappointing.

2 stars for the customer service. The biryani was a Mazaak. It was not a Biryani. They are just using the name. If you are going there because of the name, than dont go. You will be disappointed.

The girl at the front is rude and it literally takes 30-40 minutes to get a small order even when the restaurant is empty. They really need to organize their staff so they can get good orders out quicker. I experience this every time I go there which makes me often choose other places instead.

We went for the first time, but the experience was so bad. Please change your restaurant name. Instead, student biryani to student pulav. I ordered veg biryani, and literally, it's a mixture of frozen mix vegetables with rice.just waste of money

Went here at 12 pm biryani wasn't ready, the chicken biryani with bone was definitely stale. If biryani is not ready at 12 pm don't open your restaurant and give customers stale food.

Had take-out of chicken biryani. Great taste, Just like the one in Karachi, Pakistan. But the Raita was spoiled and smelled bad. Thankfully I smelled it before putting on the food or else it would’ve been spoiled as well. The Restaurant should throw out unused old raita.

So these guys know the meaning of biryani? Literally giving plain white rice that too not cooked properly! Chicken was not fresh at all. Hated it

Ordered chicken biriyani. It's not fresh. Chicken tasted rotten ans was smelly. Rice was also atleast a day old. Not recommended at all. Very disappointed.

I used to love going there for biriyani, but I won't suggest it to anyone going forward. Yesterday, we placed an order for one lamb and one chicken biriyani. There was not enough for one person in either situation. Lamb biriyani has only some bones, no meat, and one large, complete potato. Additionally, my chicken biriyani gave me some plastic thread. Conjointly, the flavour was awful.

Besides the famous Chicken Biryani (with Potato), their Beef Bihari Kebab with Puri Paratha is divine. Tried the boneless chicken Biryani and it was great. Lamb Biryani was good as well. Must visit place

I got there at 9: 30 pm and the girl who was working was moping the floor and we asked for order and she just pack our order and didnt even wash hands before packing our order ……. Is this the service u giving guys? …… really reply on it!

COACKROACH IN BIRYANI
I went all the way from Hamilton to brampton, because everyone said the food there is so good. I went to eat but when i almost finished my biryani there's small cockroach in the biryani. I spent 71 dollars on that meal. Dining area looks clean but I don't know what's the condition of the kitchen. We talked to manager, first he refused that this is not cockroach but one of the server agreed. That was the worst experience i had.

These guys don’t know the meaning of biryani! Visit mumbai sometime and taste biryani over there. You will sure feel like heaven. They just serve plain white rice white chicken pieces and call it biryani. Hated it!

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I did not. I've been here over 3 times and each time, there are several menu items that are unavailable. The food takes over 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. The staff are rude and not friendly. Bathroom was dirty as well. The food is fine in terms of taste but all these other things really make me not enjoy this restaurant.

I love student Biryani since my childhood in Karachi but unfortunately my recent experience with them was scary when we found a push pin in our take out. A member of family took it out of their mouth when we were eating our supper.
I hope this will encourage them to make some changes to handle food properly.
Sad but, I won’t to go there ever again.

Staff doesn't know what they are doing. Need guidance. Owner is never around. Food is packed poorly and specification on yes I need utensils feels weird because they can't understand simple English.

Biryani is good. The quantity is also good. The vegetarian biryani tastes more like a pulao. They can do some improvements is vegetarian biryani. Rest all are good.

Not tasty at all. Even the green yogurt they give whatever. I don't even know if I could call it biryani what I had, didn't taste nothing like it. I don't think I'd go there again.

Very disappointed today while taking my food. They turn my mind to never visit here. Staff’s behaviour is good but they did not know importance of time. Worst experience with them.

Spend more time making food for people not there ordering online, rather than people who are there. 40 minutes to make 5 naan? Never again.

If I can give this place a zero I would. Horrible food, you would think a place that specializes in biryani would excel at the one product they market. I ordered 2 lamb biryani and first off, in one container I had 3 small pieces of lamb, the other was no different, just 4 small pieces of lamb. The rice had a strange scent to it which made it unbearable to eat. Never again will I visit this establishment and I encourage those who love biryani, give this place a pass.

We got a take out order, the crispy chicken sandwich that is $10 when we got home the chicken was the size of the nugget and if you remove the fried batter there is almost no chicken inside. Called them to complain and they said they are sorry but they changed the size of the chicken. Whatever you order don't order this sandwich, don't waste your money.

They will sell u just coloured boiled rice in name of biriyani. They add potatoes in chicken biriyani which make no sense and only kinda food colour in name of spices. Totally waste of money.

Today I visited this place on May/10/22 to try student biryani. I look at the pictures on the wall it looks so good, so I decided to order chicken biryani, as I received the food I tasted the biryani, it just test like Normal fried rice without any flavour and having potatoes and chicken inside with no flavour. Even it doesn’t have any khada masala and fried onion. As compared to student biryani silver spoon is much much better place to visit. Even the price of silver spoon is also cheap. So I didn’t recommended any one to visit this place student biryani. Anybody like flavourless biryani they can visit this place.

Pathetic… undercooked food and zero taste and service.will never return. Definitely not the type of dine in service we were looking for and have never experienced before at any restaurant. Moreover, the girl sitting at the counter with the headphone on and phone in her hand ‍️ and handling customers wowOwner needs to pay attention what’s really going on at the restaurant… not recommended at all and will never give them a second chance.

Today first time i order food from here and i got very bad experience. I had to wait for a more than 30mint for my order and when i get it it was not properly packed. Need to improve their service if they concern about customers otherwise they never able to survive with this kind of worst service.

Came here specially for Biryani with a thought that their SOP would be birani, as they made it so special that they name it as their BRAND.ordered one chicken Biryani, but got one small piece of chicken and two big piece of potatoes.
Rice was also not cooked properly.
Those Who really want to have a authentic taste of birani must visit BAGES GRILL Kennedy road.

I just wasted $21 on lamb biryani and juice, this place is a disgrace in the name of student biryani because the biryani they served me was actually lamb curry anyone that knows Pakistani food knows the difference because lamb cooked in biryani is dry not oily and taste like curry spices it was lamb curry mixed with the biryani rice to cut corners just to maximize the profit, you guys charge so much money for food because of the name at least serve people what you charge them for! Im adding the photo aswell so it can cleary show what im talking about never coming back to this location

Went here 2 times to have lunch Dine- in, No customer service at all, we went 2nd time 2 days ago, we choose to sit in the table and the girl who took order never treat or ask if we need anything, food served in plastic containers, My self went and collect the food even though we choose Dine- In service, and we ask plates, the girl provides plastic plates, and plastic cutlery’s. Understand is COVID time, if you guys choose to open the Dine-in service than needs to have some decency in customer service, at-least ask if we need anything, NEVER EVER GO BACK AGAIN, because you guys FAIL TO SERVE US!

One of the worst food, biryani is like only chicken with coloured rice and roll is named incorrectly, it should be called onion roll. Hardly chicken just onions? And tomatoes rolled in a thick smelling flatbread. No taste at all

Definitely not a Pakistani taste. Biryani was OK but other stuff on menu doesn't have the same taste. May be food for ppl who never tried student biryani before.

The Biryani this time was fairly mediocre and a major disappointment. On the previous occasion it was great.

Worst place. They do not give you your order. When you go pick up the food they say it's not available. They do not cancel the order as well.

We Wer 3 visitor from London Ontario. We order boneless biryani and we paid 25$+ for this food.the lady on the cash counter confirm if we want with the bone or boneless? We confirmed chicken biryani without bone! Please keep a note in the future. I found this very Non professional at all. Even though the rice taste good. However the guys need a good a training. That’s the reason I gave 2 star rating. Just a feedback for the coming time ahead.

Very bad to spicy and oily horrible quality made me sick when eating it do not waste your money on this there are better places to get briyani for a good price

Do not forget to mention mild if can't bear hot food. Their regular hot is actually terrible hot.

Mayo garlic role with no mayo garlic and plain boiled rice in the name of biryani. Packed with white colored water claimed as raita.
Thick cheap oil and grease on all the food items.

I have ordered the tandoori briyani, It was delicious and mouth watering, Even the service was excellent and super fast. One another thing, they was a girl named Ramanpreet she served me very well. So I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This branch has great staff and a nice clean place to eat. My only problem is the quality of the food and the prices. I don't think the food is worth the money they are charging. Their biryani is decent and the rolls are ok. Should either lower prices or improve the quality of the food.

Not the same biryani as they published. My entire childhood spent kn Karachi enjoyed student biryani. This biryani is not even close to that ingredients. They should not encase their name.
