Studio Mooi

I had an exceptional time at @studiomooi making 2 silver rings. One in December and the 2nd in January. Danielle is a lively engaging instructor and the workshop was a blast! Studio Mooi is also a great, safe place to learn a new craft skill. I would highly recommend.

I took a beginner acrylic course with Kathryn Boyd and it was fantastic! Learned about painting techniques while having fun with expression. Highly recommend this studio and I would love to take classes here again.

Studio Mooi is a gem in our community. My 6 year-old daughter has attended multiple sessions of the after school mini maker club and it is by far her favourite day of the week. She hasn’t enjoyed many extracurriculars so far and she constantly asks for more Studio Mooi. She would be there every day if that were possible. The space is beautiful, the staff are amazing and kind, and you wouldn’t believe what they inspire their young students to create. Every member of our family received handmade gifts for Christmas this year that we will cherish for a lifetime. This place truly brings out the best in our kids. I am always happy knowing how my daughter is spending her time with Tanya and her team at Studio Mooi. There are endless workshops for adults too, which I plan to attend when time allows. Be sure to check this place out. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Studio Mooi for being a part of our amazing neighborhood and for enriching our lives the way you do!

My daughter and I did a India ink and water colour workshop at Studio Mooi. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning! Very helpful direction and lots of time to practice the new skills. Would recommend for anyone want to exercise their creativity.

Had so much fun learning to crochet! Will definitely come back for other workshops. Very welcoming space.

Amazing time! Did the kintsugi class and it was awesome! Studio Mooi was so welcoming as well as all the attendees. I strongly recommend taking a few hours to try out a class at the studio, was a great time to learn and make something new, definitely going back!

I attended a recent Beginner Stained Glass (Copper Foil) class at Studio Mooi that was taught by Tammy Lynne. It was a fantastic time - Tammy was an amazing teacher, the studio space was so beautiful, and I absolutely love the piece I was able to make. I'm so grateful for Studio Mooi and Tammy Lynne for the experience:) I'll be back for more Stained Glass (and other!) classes soon!

Owner and teacher were very organized in setting up the studio for the difference stages of completing our stain glasses projects. Teacher presentation, of how to complete project and involved safety aspects were excellent. It was a fun evening.

I always enjoy the workshops at Studio Mooi. Such a welcoming and beautiful space. The watercolour treescape class was just what I needed to inspire me to play with paint more often!

I loved this workshop and Studio Mooi! I highly recommend you try taking a class there. The instructor was funny, knowledgeable, and highly encouraging of different styles and approaches to mandalas. I will definitely go back.

I attended a wonderful art workshop in this beautiful space and the entire experience was lovely, from start to finish. I would come back in a heartbeat!

I took the punch needle class and really enjoyed it. The instructor (Victoria Rebelo) was very patient and helpful. I will be taking more classes. I just wish I could change my work schedule so I could take all the classes on my wish list.

Had a wonderful afternoon at Studio Mooi making polymer clay xmas ornaments for my grandkids this afternoon. Totally lost track of the time and can’t wait to go back!

We attended one of the wreath making workshops and it was so much fun! Great for date night and activities with friends! The host was super sweet and welcoming. We will definitely be joining more workshops. Highly recommend!
