Studio One Eleven Brantford

I recently visited Laura in her new studio, and had an amazing experience! I had the pleasure of working with both Laura and John at Studio One Eleven, and they were both amazing at what they did. I immediately felt comfortable and playful and their cueing and feedback were spot on.

There are a variety of sets/furniture and props to create magic with. These worked together with dim music to create a comfortable vibe to play around in.

This was my 3rd time shooting boudoir, but my first at Studio One Eleven. If you're new a few tips I've picked up: *get yourself some outfits/accessories that you feel comfortable and sexy in, then practice moving around in them a bit. *try out different facial expressions in the mirror to add some range to your pics. *practice different hair and makeup looks to suit the vibe you're going for and your outfits. *if you're not already someone who stretches or does yoga, it can be a good way to move your body into different positions with more ease. *above all, take a deep breath, drop any reservations, let go and have fun creating something beautiful for yourself or others!

I had so much fun during the session, and was blown away by the quality of the shots that we were able to produce together!
I can't wait to come back.

Fantastic studio! I was a model for a boudoir shoot, something I had never done, and Laura was incredible! Made me feel very comfortable, was patient and so helpful. And the pictures turned out beautifully!

I emailed Laura a couple weeks before Christmas because there were no more appointments left for Christmas minis; she immediately opened up new time slots and was able to accommodate me by squeezing me in right before Christmas. Fast-forward to Christmas Eve, we had a storm the previous day and were dealing with the aftermath; she could’ve easily postponed (I told her I was in no rush to have the photos done before xmas) but she didn’t cancel. Although the session was supposed to be 30 minutes, Laura took her time and we didn’t feel rushed. She always asked if there were any other poses we wanted before moving onto the next set. She was so friendly and professional; my toddler took right to her! He was totally comfortable and we were all so at ease. She captured the moments so effortlessly that I was surprised with how AMAZING the photos came out! To top everything off, instead of waiting a week or two for the edited digital images, Laura sent them back to me that same night (Christmas Eve)! We were really happy with the service from beginning to end. Thank you Laura!

This venue is so versatile! Perfect for getting your book club together around the large wooden table. Or why not get together with a bottle of wine and take Christmas photographs of your girlfriends. Want to get your friends together for a yoga session or tai chi? Bring your zen and your tunes and exercise in a quiet peaceful space. Getting married and want a separate space with changing rooms and full length mirrors to add your favourite lipstick in between dances? Rent this space for the full day.
The owner is an amazing portrait and wedding photographer. She specializes in elevating your self esteem in front of the lens. Her selection of dresses, gowns and accessories will bring your inner smile out. Great for young teenagers. Laura will have them posing like professionals in no time. Enjoy! Theresa Grimsby Ontario

I was searching for a photography space where they had everything set up (lights, decor, backdrops) - Studio One Eleven has it all! Laura is such a delight to work with and answered all my queries promptly. The space is beautiful and there are 7-10 areas that have a different vibe where you can create some beautiful photos. I booked an hour long slot and it was more than enough time for this novice photographer, as she had all the lights set up already. Thank you for creating this beautiful space in little ol' Brantford! We will definitely be back to capture more memories in this space!
