Wonderful, intimate space. Saw Goblin Macbeth and it was outstanding. Great acting. Able to bring the laughs and still deliver the great lines perfectly.

I went to see their production of Much 'Ado About Nothing in August 2023. It was wonderful. I've seen quite a few plays at the festival over the years (including another production of this play) and this was the best play I have yet seen at the festival. We managed to get a very good deal on tickets (a promotion for seats in the balcony). We were able to get front row in the balcony, so the view was better than many of the seats in the orchestra for half the money.

Intimate 485 seat theater. Most every seat is good. Casey & Diana was excellent. Tears. See the film when it comes out in the late fall. Park free in nearby Cooper lot.

We saw Casey and Diana here, the perfect venue for this powerful intimate production. It was my first visit to this particular theatre in Stratford, and I would highly recommend it.

Small theater. Centre and off center sears are excellent. I found the view better in the upper seats.

This theatre is very small and intimate. I do not recommend sitting along the sides as you do miss quite a bit of whats occurring on the opposite side of the stage.

What a great studio theatre. We saw Every Little Nookie. I love the fabulous cast, it was very entertaining. Marion Adler you are gorgeous Cheers!

My wife and I enjoyed a timely play in the rather intimate theatre. They prefer everyone to wear a mask and they are willingly giving out masks to people who do not have one.

Enjoy everything about the studio theater. We have seen diverse and interesting plays presented at this location. Don't miss it.

Awesome classes at off the wall! Erica is amazing! Go learn things. Highly recommend to any hair stylist working in film to take the wig course!

Saw Henry VIII. Enjoyed the performance. Nice, intimate theatre. Every seat appears to be a good seat.

Very intimate. We were one of the seats furthest from the wing of the stage and still could see and hear very well. Great show and actors brought a highly emotional topic to life.

Saw Mother's Daughter at the Studio Theatre tonight. Amazing small, intimate venue. Will definitely return!

The theatre does definitely not have the most comfortable seating, but balances this retraction with commendable staging a and very good performances. The quality of staging and acting adequately compensates for grumbling buttocks.

Stopped by some friends in Toronto for the weekend and went to see "Mother's Daughter". Great acting. I throughly enjoyed myself.

We were so looking forwards to Stratford's production of Henry V111. The theatre is a disgrace. Access to seats difficult. The seats incredibly uncomfortable. I will never go to thsy theater again.
We were very disappointed in Stratford's production of Henry V111. The Actor who portrayed Henry V111 was well below Stratford's usual standards. The entire production was a big disappointment. The two hour drive to Stratford was a waste of our time.

Loved Nathan the Wise at the Studio Theatre. Provocative, funny, and indeed wise, a show not to be missed at Stratford this season.

This is the smallest of the Stratford theatres. Around the corner from the Avon and its more familiar proscenium stage the Studio is a much smaller and more modern theatre. As a thrust stage with very steep seating the staging is most commonly called intimidate and with good reason. If you're in the first row you'll be close enough to touch the actors. Being that close around a thrust and that small a theatre means the audience is very visible, which can be a bit disconcerting. Also, as the theatre notes on its website, the steep seating is difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues.

That said, if you can try to get tickets to a Studio production. They're frequently the most interesting productions in town and the space itself is worth a visit. You feel like you're going somewhere special. From its barebone entry to the stage itself the ambience takes you out of your normal theatre visit into something different. I find the audience is much more appreciative, almost reverent, and quiet since you are constantly aware of how close you are to the actors. For instance the last production I went to, unfortunately, a woman's cellphone went off. She struggled and it went off again before she apologized, I knew this from the other side of the stage where I could see and hear her. In most productions at other theatres there's usually some person who doesn't think talking or rustling with packaging is distracting. You feel hidden away by the shape, size and darkness, almost anonymous. Without that it's a lot harder to not think about what you're doing, which changes the atmosphere and shapes how people watch for the better.

Great experience. The studio was so intimate it made you feel like the performers were giver you a VIP performance.

Lovely. The small space makes the performances very intimate and gives the audience a feeling of being in the know, besides leaving them with amazing performances. Helpful staff and beautiful facilities make this a wondrous place and I only wish I could be there every day.

Intimate space. Seating on risers with chairs. Space for mobility impaired at stage level. Thrust stage.

Another unforgettable theatre experience at the Studio Theatre tonight! (Nathan the Wise; go see it!) It's such an cool space - small enough for really intimate performances and the capacity for truly cutting-edge, more experimental shows. The Studio is tucked behind the Avon Theatre at the other end of the block so it's easy to find as well.

One of the more modern theatres in Stratford yet maintains the intimate feel that Stratford is known for. The foyer is also small where drinks are served.

You're basically part of the play as a spectator. The theatre holds approx. 250 people (244 to be exact per my kid who counted) so definitely on the smallish side but gives excellent views anywhere even when you're in the last row. Friendly and welcoming ushers. Went to go see 'Nathan the Wise' here and the setting was perfect.
