A beautiful and well kept campground that is a must visit location. The entire staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. AAAAA+

We’ve stayed at a lot of camp grounds before and we’ve never had such great people taking care of us. Everyone working there was amazing and fun to be around and our kids had a blast. Very rarely do you have such great welcoming people who not only guide you to your site but also make sure you’re having a good time. 10/10 for fun loving employees and atmosphere! Our kids loved the water ballon fights and other events going on while we were there.

Nice grassy sites and friendly staff but no pool.close to town for anything you may need.the park has three way hookups which is great

Restful. Clean. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Always smiling. Lots of things for the kids. Swimming in the river bike rentals.etc.camp cottages. Glamping tents. Aera for dogs. Some weekends they offer special events. Plenty to do and see in the area.

Our stay was a cold one, but the site and kampground were so perfect it didn't matter. We were in site ON75 which is a pull through right at the apex of the small marina and the Sturgeon River. We felt happily isolated sitting out at our fire and having meals at our picnic table.
Incredibly clean and perfectly functional hook ups. Well positioned and laid out for short feeds and convenient/quick set up and tear down.
We loved our stay and we're already planning our trip back next summer!

After 15 months on the road, this is one of the best parks we've experienced. A lot of attention to detail from the staff. Well done SF's KOA!

What a great KOA campground! Service with a smile, wood delivery is quick & efficient. Clean, quiet and a heat view of the river! Awesome place to relax or just stop in on your travels!

Clean site on the river. Did some fishing off the shore. Staff very helpful.
Shots all day across the river scarring birds in farmers fields did not agree with my dog. Stayed all day in the RV.

What a spectacular KOA. Love the rental trailer! Great location. Great site right on the water. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. We will be back.

My family and I have an amazing experience every time we visit this beautiful campground. This KOA is a happy place indeed. We are always invited in with a smile and amazing service. It is perfect place for small kids with playgrounds, open fields and a shallow sandy beach. I enjoy bringing my dog as it has a swim area for pups, a cooking area with a fence for your dog and lots of place to run. It has good wifi and an option for upgrade. Ask for Jesse, his family are amazing people and will take great care of you! Thank you so much!

Was okay except their wifi is terrible. We are VIPs in the Koa program and they gave us the VIP high speed wifi. Good luck with that nothing worked. Folks there are nice. Campground was pretty nice. Only overnighted there so didn't use their amenities. Just needed the wifi. Didn't get it. Pretty easy in and out for big rigs.

Too $$ for me - I was going to sleep in the back of my car instead of set up my tiny bivy tent, but it would have cost me $50! However, if I had little kids, this is the place I would go - lots of kids having fun, and fun things to do here. Staff were super friendly!

We booked to stay again this year in September (2022)

Very nice KOA. They had it all together. Staff was exceedingly personable. Sites were gravel but very level and packed. We had a patio full hook up site. Table on patio was very nice. We travel with our 39 foot 5th wheel and entry and exit was easy. The park is well kept with lots of areas to explore, a river with dock nearby and lots of stuff for kids to do. There is also a mostly deserted road for walking and biking. It was fun to walk about a mile and a half to a nearby history museum.

We had a great time. Right on the water. Fabulous staff who made our visit memorable. Even saw a bald eagle. Will definitely be back!

Awesome KOA to visit. The whole team is friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk too. Nights are quiet. The lots by the water are long so the campfire area is not right near the trailer. The patio has a patio seating set and bbq; great amenities to have. Definitely will visit again.

Note: the picture I attached shows a crane right in front of my trailer. Fun to watch it.

We had a beautiful site with a stone patio nice patio set and Webber propane bbq all provided for us as well as an area with a lovely fire pit by the waterfront. Our grandchildren had a blast we booked for a week next summer as well. Highly recommend

A nice little campground. Very clean and friendly staff. Bathrooms are very nice and clean as well. Loved the dog run for our little guy and the dog beach.

We booked last minute after a really long time on the road and we booked the wrong type of camping site. No matter, the really friendly and helpful staff had us sorted out and upgraded our reservation for no extra charge. It was the last weekend of camping season and the place was busy, but every effort was made to accommodate us. The staff genuinely looked like they loved working there and made us feel special.

Very happy and polite people! And go the extra mile to make their customers happy! 100% recommend this KOA

We had a fantastic stay at KOA this long weekend. Super clean, everyone was very nice, friendly, both staff and campers. Lots of great activities for kids and found a really fun fishing spot for beginners. Kids loved the water slide and park. Rental tent was perfect with a nice deck and view of the water. Stayed warm and dry with heavy rain on night 2.

The number one BEST KOA in all of Ontario! I have been RVing for 2 years now and have visited a large number of KOAs in Ontario all the way from Niagara Falls to Thunder Bay. There is no comparison, hands down to Sturgeon Falls KOA. Their swimming beach is excellent for the kids and every camp site is awesome. There were so many fun things to do that we coudn't keep up. The staff here was born to be in the hospitality business. The are always smiling and laughing and making sure that everyone is having a good time. They are not walking around like masked zombies like the staff at South Ottawa KOA and some others. You will not want to leave once you get there. I can not wait to go back. They go above and beyond making you feel like family. I really wish there was something that we as a family could do to help them grow larger than they already are. In the meantime I will refer everyone I can to Sturgeon Falls KOA. Our favourite KOA by far.

Very busy, but helpful staff and a great view made our trip. Swimming area was a bit sparse but that's the only complaint!

Probably the nicest Koa I stayed at in Ontario. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Tent sites by the water with lots off shade. Sandy beach at the Sturgeon River and homemade Pizza delivered to your camp site.
Don't get much better than that.

I love the place… clean area, clean washroom and shower. There is laundry room as well as small shop to buy some snacks and coffee.during night the coffee machine is out to get a hot coffee during cold night only for 1.5$… staff are very helpful and friendly … love their customer service, smile and greeting…love Jenna ‘s attitude and pro activity to solve the problem and give the best customer service.

2nd stop on our Canada road trip.

Checking in was easy and we were even guided to our site, including assistance in backing in which is always appreciated. Ladies upfront were kind and welcoming.

Because we were late in booking due to COVID-19 restrictions finally being lifted there was only the deluxe patio site available.

After leaving our last amazing KOA patio stay my expectations were high for this one.

Unfortunately, it was just okay. This site was tucked in between the “seasonals”and was tight. Only 30amp available here as well.

Also, strange was the site behind us parked their cars in front of our campsite and walked through ours to get to there’s. We did reach out to the business and they apologized and said they’d speak to them.

Overall the spot was okay for a sleep over stay but not to pay the extra for the upgraded patio because there was not a lot of extra space or privacy, and the area was not well maintained or clean.

This is the best campground we have ever been too truly amazing staff that are always happy and help with all your needs our family of 14 had a great experience and will definitely be returning, also the cleanest campground around

A great campground to stay at or use as you're passing through. Full service for RV. The staff are all very helpful and positive and consistently respond quickly to any request. The owners and employees put in a lot of effort to make this a welcoming and pleasant environment to be in. Highly recommended even if it's a bit off your direct route.

This is the best KOA in Ontario. Great Hosts (Greg & Gina) ; wonderful staff; customer service they go above and beyond. Bathrooms/shows spotless. Activities many weekends. Good Fishing. Spacious sites, no bad site. Water slide by the beach area; 2 play grounds for kids, doggy play area. Go there 1-2 times per year. Book early it fills fast. You wont be disappointed. 10 min to Sturgeon Falls for anything you might need, go to Moniques Chip Stand, best in the area, all her food is excellent and reasonably priced.

We have frequented this KOA several times when we are headed to northern Ontario provincial parks. This is a wonderfully run KOA. Very clean, lots of activities for people, nice big dog play areas divided into two separate areas. We will continue to return here.

I like the Koa, tented and sometimes use their cabins all over Canada and the USA. Best showers and washrooms I have used yet at a Koa, very impressed. Owners are awesome to chat with and super accommodating. Tent sites were grassy and no stones or rock to bend your tent pegs. Quite picturesque with waterway, lighted walking bridge and water fountain. The outdoor coffee Kurig for when the store is closed was a great accomodation for early risers. I highly recommend this Koa.

Friendly greeting and very helpful people. Totally committed to your happiness and comfort during your stay. Nice clean and very well run property right next to the water. No guessing where your campsite is because they will guide you and escort you right to your spot. We will be keeping this location on our favourites list.

Nice people, good campground, I booked online and when I showed up they brought me out to the site and noticed a little standing water and offered to move me to a dryer site, I didn't see it as a problem and we just moved the picnic table a little ways away from the wet area. Nice big sites. I would have given them 5 stars but that would have required Dinner and a back rub.

First time experience.just visiting friends for a day.very nice spot and lots of places for biking. ️

We love it. Always rent the ready tent. Saves time so much. It has cute little deck on it and hard wood floor much easier to put air mattress. The trampoline was gone this year. Please bring it back:)

Nicely kept, nice setting, nice all-around. Only problem, we were given the up graded Wi-Fi and could not connect.
Even caught a nice pike fishing from shore.

We absolutely love this KOA campground. No complaints at all! Gina (the owner) makes you feel very welcome, and she is accommodating with any requests you may have. We will definitely return next year.

Lovely campground. We were there only for one night but everything was ok. Good wifi. The two ladies at the reception/store were good fun.

Owner and their son were fantastic people to deal with. They checked with us every day to ensure we had everything we needed. The new sites along the marina were awesome. Loved waking up to have coffee by the water. Was great to spend 7 nights at this KOA. Place was clean and very well maintained. Great price on rental kayaks and canoes. It is the top site for us and we look forward to staying there again.

Convenient to highway 17. Friendly staff. Accommodated our unexpected need for a site. Good wifi signal. Our first time camping in the open field style. No shade.

The campground was very clean and the service was excellent. We would certainly stay there again if we are in the area.

A great stay here. Very pretty, lots of rv space. All kinds of options for you to stay. Bring your own or they can rent you something. Tenting as well. Owners are super nice. Great fishing right at your door step.

Gorgeous campground by the water and very friendly owners. Though the campground wasn't quite open for the season yet, they allowed us to stay and did everything to make our visit comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, the accommodations, and staff.
We stayed in the glamping tents with beds. They are spacious and comfy. The tents have screens over each door and window, so you can have it open, without letting bugs in.
Our son enjoyed swimming, and the big slide. We went on the boat tour and that was great too.
Unfortunately we had a lot of other campers cutting through the lot we were on, touching our things, and even our car. Not the camp's fault by any means, but it put us off coming back again.
