My wife and I recently purchased a 2023 Subaru Forester from Maple Subaru with help from Alfred and Sam. After visiting other Subaru dealerships, Maple Subaru offered the best trade-in value for our pickup truck. We placed an order for a Forester in August 2022 through Alfred G, and he kept us up-to-date on the order status and provided a realistic estimate of the delivery timeline. Our order arrived early, which was a nice surprise. Alfred and Sam were courteous, friendly, and helpful throughout the purchasing process as well as afterwards. We will likely return here for any future Subaru purchases.

‘ Bunch of Crooks’. Dont ever go to this dealership. I went with my wife and kids to buy Forester but they pressurized us to buy so many unnecessary and uselessness package like theft insurance, tire package and wear and tear and on my denial to those, I was told I have to take those otherwise they don’t want me to sell the vehicle. I try to speak to business manager as well as as general manager but they don’t want to listen my concerns. They are taking advantage of supply chain shortage and doing black market inf. Be aware of these bunch of crooks and un ethical people.don’t go to this dealership.

Sneaky sneaky! I offered to pay (in full) cash on their 2022 Subaru Outback and was told I had to finance for at least 6 months before I could buy it out however they would allow me to purchase the 2023 in cash for the full amount. Also with the subaru loyalty program, instead of getting a discounted vehicle price, I was offered a discounted finance rate instead. Yes the rate was low however when a vehicle is financed, usually they Jack the price up. If someone has the full amount in cash for a commodity and they're told they cant buy it, that raises an eyebrow. I highly suggest you look closely and pay attention or they will rob you blind. I will be filing a formal complaint with subaru head office also, there is email correspondence to coaborate my allegations. Went to a much more reputable Subaru dealer where I am allowed to pay cash on any vehicle I would like. Stay away from Subaru Maple.

Purchased a pre-owned car from Maple Subaru. The car is in fantastic condition (for four years old), happy with the deal, the people were wonderful and the car was made ready very quickly.

They are a perfect example of under-promising and over-delivering.

This place is horrible. We brought my mother's car for service. A simple oil change. The appt was booked for 9am did not get the car returned to us until 5pm. The service department did not go over anything that was done but charged 597.00. Your people are disgusting and lack customer service shame on y for charging so much money and no explanation.

An absolute pleasure to have some warranty work done on my Subí. At first I was a bit hesitant given some of the reviews I had read but after speaking to Mario, he reassured me they would take care of my car in a quick and professional manner. A Tech took the car for a test drive, then into the shop for a quick inspection. A Service rep confirmed the work would be covered under warranty and booked an appointment for me. I brought the car back and they promptly fixed the issue while I waited in the comfortable waiting area that included some gourmet coffees.
Overall a very good experience. The folks at Maple were courteous professional and competent.

If there was an option for 10 stars - this dealership would still need more for service excellence and total customer satisfaction.

I am new in Canada and went to another Subaru to purchase a vehicle - let’s just say it’s wasn’t a good experience.

As human nature generally takes precedence, I decided maybe Subaru isn’t a good fit.

I, then decided to shop around and found myself in Maple. First encounter was with Hyundai - they clearly don’t care for customers as I was told that if I don’t have an appointment the wait time is indefinite and that too after advising that I want to purchase a vehicle for cash. 3 salesmen were standing and having good old chat so exactly how busy were they?

Seeing as I had both my 6 year old and 2 year old kids with me I decided that this was unacceptable service and left… they did not even attempt stopping me but rather just carried on chatting amongst themselves.

As fate had it, I found myself standing right in front of Subaru of Maple. Decided to go in. Was welcomed by Alfred Ghofari who has such good customer etiquette and immediately I was drawn to the option of seeing what’s on offer.

I was then greeted by Marcus (sales manager) - man, this guy has customer service skills that could teach a good few people in this country a thing or 2.

Fast forward - I purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester - with an extended warranty (highly recommend this for second hand vehicles)

First issue resolved within 3 hours.

Second issue - called the reception at 9am - transferred to Mario in service - he listened and accommodated me the same day - infact within 2 hours of my call, I am sitting at Subaru with everything approved and my car being examined to find the root cause and repairs conducted!

Disclaimer - when I say issues - it’s minor and cosmetic issues!

I will recommend this dealership to anyone that wants that individual customer service and especially new immigrants!

I am sure that all the staff are amazing but for the sake of my own experience….

So with being said … A huge thank you to Marcus, Alfred, Sam & Mario! You guys have really got me as customer for life.

Got my new car two months ago from Francis. He followed up with me during the wait and he was able to get me the car with the trim and colour that I like within 2 months. Amazing at this time when there is a big shortage of cars.
However, after about 2 months, there were noises coming out from the suspensions when going over bumps. Not sure if I am unlucky, but both of my Subaru had this problem after picking up the car new.
The service of Subaru of Maple is very good though. Every time it takes care of my problem and gives excellent service.
Dino is amazing, trying to help me fix the connection problem with the car from my iPhone. It ended up with the reason that I didn’t have the most updated IOS, he has spent half an hour helping me installing it.
Great service! I would recommend Subaru of Maple!

Subaru fans here so this review is admittedly biased. Very happy owners of a 2017 Forester, and now a new 2022 Crosstrek. Initially we were recently looking into a hybrid but talks with a different manufacturer & dealer were unsuccessful. Quickly made a call to Alfred of Subaru Maple and had the deal done the next day. So quick and easy! And being repeat clients we even got our loyalty incentives on discount and rate reduction. Lest anyone forget 2022 was still the year of the Great Supply Chain Crisis. It was definitely not a buyers market to put it mildly. Alfred treated us with respect and we came out with a good deal. Icing on the cake: signed the paperwork Dec. 2021, expected delivery in Mar. 2022, but received the call to pickup in Feb, a whole month earlier. Been happily driving our new Crosstrek since. Thank you Alfred, David and the rest of the Subaru Maple team!

Worst service experience ever.
Got a class b service done and took 5.5 hours on a 3.25 hour job While I was waiting In service. Brought it in three times for rattling in my shifter yet it still rattles.
Also gave me a loaner car with less then a quarter tank

Sales:

I was told you can put 87 octane in the WRX in an effort to sell me the car. The manual states that the WRX only takes premium gas. I purchased my car from Brampton Subaru instead- great experience with no lies.

Service:

1st Oil Change: They tried to slip a $30 inspection alongside the oil change after I specifically asked for an oil change and no more. If I was not careful I would have paid for something I expressly asked them to remove from the invoice.

2nd Oil Change: After the oil change, I got my car back with 10km extra on the odometer. Also, it smelled like cigarettes and I am not a smoker.

So much for treating customers with respect.

Car towed there due to malfunctioning coil. Cool under warranty. Also did other “maintenance “
Recommended refurbish of rotars at $90. Charged for coils and $250 for rotars. Took coil of bill (should never have been there in first place) but would not budge on $1500 bill.
This is the kind of place that Subaru does not need. Avoid at all cost - get towed somewhere else

Purchased my first car from Subaru of Maple. All thanks to my wonderful saleswoman Maria. Before this, I had shopped around a lot and had met a lot of salesmen in various dealerships, almost every experience was poor. Either the salesman underestimated my knowledge of cars, or was just blatantly rude (Bel-Air Toyota, Ottawa), or was just not at all straightforward. Maria right from the beginning was very straightforward, not at all pushy, did not play any games, and was extremely easy to talk to. This positive experience encouraged me to think about buying a car from her.

I purchased the car on my second visit to the dealership. On the first, I took a test drive and ended up having a long casual conversation with her. She was nice enough to give me time despite me not being sure of weather I wanted to buy a car. On the second visit I asked her again for a test drive and she did not hesitate to arrange it for me. Once I was sure of the car, we went ahead with the negotiation. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to get me a good deal. Highly recommend everyone who’s thinking of a Subaru to buy a car from her. A very genuine saleswoman. Thank you Maria:)

The service department is good. However, be careful with their sales department. I'm still waiting for them to fix issues which I have addressed with general management team several times. Still no response. They will offer you msrp and state you have a good deal. No room for negotiation. Recommend you check out other dealerships in the area.

Within minutes of walking into Subaru of Maple and meeting Chris Chi I felt welcomed and invited to “experience” the Subaru offering. Chris listened to us describing our family’s needs and showed us both the familiar Outback and also introduced us to the less familiar Ascent.

He answered all of our questions, gave us the space we needed to explore the vehicles and answered all of our questions. I knew instantly that I wanted to do business with Subaru of Maple thanks to Chris.

We had been considering other car makes and models. Chris did such a great job introducing us to the Subaru models that precisely fit our needs and even exceeded our expectations.

We did our research, consulted with Chris on a few questions and decided to buy the Subaru Ascent Premier. He helped us put together a competitive sales quote with the additional accessories we needed (trailer hitch for example) and we completed our purchase.

The entire sale and post-sale experience at Subaru of Maple has been excellent. Thanks to Chris Chi for making this an excellent experience, I will be sending my referrals to Subaru of Maple!

Dropped my WRX off yesterday for some maintenance work and to address some concerns I had and honestly have never had such a good experience at a dealer before.
Kevin and the rest of his service team, and parts department made me feel welcome and were very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and made me feel like more than just a customer paying to get my car fixed, even though it was my first time there.
I HIGHLY recommend going to Subaru of Maple, great staff, speedy service and great quality work 10/10

I had a great experience purchasing from Crosstrek from Subaru Maple. Daniel was extremely helpful and answered all my questions, he was very professional, kind and listened. Also, moving towards the final steps of the sale was very stress free and enjoyable. I felt like Daniel was very honest and didn’t feel pressured into anything extra that I didn’t want. I highly recommend Subaru in Maple.

Overall, Daniel made it a very relaxed and enjoyable environment, which is not something that I can say about other dealerships I’ve been to.

The service guy Robert is a fraud. My car is under warranty and the radio wasn't working properly. After few appointments, they decided to replace the radio. They took my car, and just put a wrapping paper which wasn't of the proper size as of the radio and was cut manually with scissors or something. And the radio had the same dust particles as on the AC control unit (see the picture attached). The problem wasnt fixed either. And then he stopped responding to my emails. All service people are fraud, they talk so nicely on ur face but inside they all nasty. Hate this Subaru service.

I walked into Subaru and the receptionist did not greet me. Looked around the showroom and watched as multiple salesmen stared at me without expressing any interest in getting up and talking to me.

Walked out after 5 minutes of no one acknowledging me, will not be going back there to look for a new car.

Had a very positive experience with the service team. A key got stuck in an impossible to reach place in my vehicle and Rob was very good about removing the seat to find the key. He definitely went above and beyond to ensure that the key did not get permanently lost or stuck. Thank you very much Rob. Also, anytime I go there for service I am never stuck waiting too long and everyone in the back is super friendly.

Generally an OK dealership and much better experience in the sales area than the service area. I did buy a used Subaru a couple years ago from Maple and that buying experience was quite good. Service was ok and they are organized with scheduling. A recent service I had, the last one I ever will have at Maple, was a disaster. The car was taken in for a simple 100K km fluid maintenance which really has to be done at a dealership. This is a $1000 scheduled maintenance. The vast majority of the work is fluids and you need to leave the car for a full day. The vehicle was in mint condition and the service rep looked over the vehicle ahead of time in order to see if there's any pre existing damage. They did lend me a vehicle but of course had to fill up with gas so you are out another $40 just for the convenience. Upon picking up the vehicle I drove just past the parking area and noticed what looked like a chip in the windshield. Upon inspection I saw it was a chip. A chip that was not there before. I immediately drove back and pointed it out. No one knew how it could have happened but they agreed to have it filled. Fortunately the 3rd party repair guy could make it at my house and he filled the chip and dealership covered the cost. Although filled the chip was still visible and right in front of the steering wheel so I saw it all the time. I contacted the service department and told them I was not happy with the repair and wanted costs on windshield replacement. A couple weeks later I got a quote with no offer to cover the cost. I contacted upper management and they provided a 50% solution where they would cover only half of the replacement. Considering the vehicle went to the dealership to be maintained and was in great condition with no damage I found it ridiculous that somehow I now would have to bear part of the burden of yet another repair. I responded to the offer in email asking why I should bear any of the cost when I caused zero percent of the damage. No response. I cannot recommend the service area and will not go back. The sales guy I had a couple years ago was quite nice as was the sales manager. Service will never see me again.

Rating for Service Dept

Used to go to Willowdale Subaru but moved up here and was tired of not getting timely appointments.

I decided to book online for my next service with Subaru of Maple. It was super easy and they have appointments within a two week period.

On the day of they didn’t overbook anything and Robert Pieper was super knowledgeable and explained that there was a recall and ensured that got taken care of as well.

Dealership has coffee and wifi and places to get work done. They were quick and returned my car super clean with a car wash.

Will be back and thank you Robert for the great service. Switching over to this as my home dealership.
