Friendly very acommodating in allowing me to building the sandwich I wanted. Clean, has stairs, this was a challenge as I had a sprained ankle but it was worth it.
I have eaten foot-long Sub sandwiches at this location on several occasions, and I find their products are fresh and tasty! Very nice service and very nice food. All around it is a great experience for anyone who is hungry and wants to take a bite into something substantive! Try 895 LAWRENCE AVE. E.and enjoy!
Manager was very rude and inconsiderate. He made the sandwich I didn’t even want and refused to make me another sandwich because I wasted his food. Also, he is a manager on duty he should prioritize his customers more and make sure his customers leaves the store satisfied and happy with their food. (Very disappointed on customer service and not coming back in this location).
Only giving this place a 3 star because its one of the closest things I can get thats close to my work, if it wasnt, id give this place a 1 or 2 stars. The turnover rate in this place is crazy, theres always a new worker and due to that, the service is always mediocre. So many times ive had to waste half my lunch break either standing in line or dealing with workers that somehow dont know how to make a sub when im or any other person is the one telling them how to make it, please explain how that makes sense.
Excellent service! Everything is very tasty. Had a wrap few days ago. The girl working in the evening on sunday, really outdid herself (wish I knew her name). Try their Chicken Teriyaki too. Could have given more than just 5 stars if there was an option:)
Mixed review. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. I ordered 4 mixed sub platters for a company lunch. Food was fresh but VERY little meat on the meat subs, tuna was just a smear. Felt like were having flavored bread, not very filling for a hungry group. Cookies were fresh. Will have to rethink next order.
I work in the plaza so this subway is convenient however on more than one occasion their chicken sandwich has made me sick. Careful with their bottled drinks as well, I got a Gatorade with my combo and when it tasted abnormally sour I checked the expiration date and it went bad on Ja/15th/22. I know best before dates aren’t 100% accurate but it was packaged in 2014? ! Makes me wonder how long they’ve had this case for. Staff is unpleasant, I ordered a 6” and when I revived a 12” then corrected her, she sighed, proceeded to undress the sandwich, removed the meat and toppings and threw the bread back into the oven. I got a BLT if someone didn’t eat pork that’s definitely cross contamination. Wont ever be coming back here, would rather take the walk to pizza pizza.
This restaurant is surely one of the most pleasant place to eat in the area. Always when I visit this place I am so pleased. They manage their high level service and the highest level of food they give. You are always happy with this place. Highly recommended.
I have accessibility issues (AODA COMPLIANCE FOR LEGISLATION REQUIREMENTS FOR BUILDING) with this location. On the public facing south entrance, u one can't enter this store with a wheelchair. It's all steps going down, no ramp or elevator.what a major oversight. This isn't reflective of the hard working staff, it's the physical location design. Also the washrooms had an issue for the same demographic with using a wheelchair. Because this is legally something to make the location inclusive vs exclusive for 2021 for AODA, what is the plan? I'm watching and checking in on what becomes of the entrance. There are other vendors sharing similar entrances in this mall strip, I will be reviewing them too for compliance to accessibility
3rd time here this week. 3rd time had bread that’s multiple days old. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Fool me 3 times? Time to write a bad review
I had ordered a tuna sub yesterday evening, and the lady (a middle-aged/elder woman who wears glasses) had served me was incredibly hostile and rude. I felt rushed, and when I asked her a question about the sauces, she proceeded to cut and wrap my sandwhich saying that she couldn't put sauces on it. I dont usually leave reviews, but I felt inclined to write one about this location because the store was not busy AT ALL (I was the only one ordering, while there was only one other customer in the restaurant who was already seated and eating), and her lack of patience and customer service was appalling. Incredibly disappointed, and I hope this woman never gives customer service like this to anyone else.
Not as good as they used to be. Got 2 of the new $4 melts. Some of the toppings looked pretty tired & was lucky to get 2 pcs of meat each! Not impressed that I wouldn't upgrade to a combo. Rarely go anymore
IT'S NOT VEGAN, I SAW THEY HAD BACON NEXT TO THE LETTUCE, MY VEGAN-LACTOS-INTOLERANT-GLUTEN-FREE-BUDIST-NON-VACCINATED-KIDS WHERE SO UPSET WHEN THEY SAW.
On an unrelated note, Sooubway has a very interesting history: Their spokesperson started and ending his career trying to get into small pants. Also, why do y'all have to put only 6 olives on a footlong? I wanted a sandwich with only olives, and the guy limited it to only six, then he had to audacity to kick me out of the store when I threw my sandwich at him.
I've been to this particular location a few times since it is near where my husband works and we go there for lunch sometimes. Other times I have went, their bread is crumbly and stale, or they are out of ingredients (at 2-3pm). The last time I went (yesterday as of this review), I ordered my sub, and when I got to the counter to pay, the counter was covered in a stack of trays and baskets and other things, and when the cashier lady asked me if I wanted anything else, I said "a cup for water" she got the cup and put it on the top tray in the stack and it fell over on the tray so I fixed it up myself. When I paid, the cashier and the girl who made my sandwich started talking to each other and I just stood there since my sandwich was on their side and out of my reach and I was waiting on my receipt (which I kind of wanted since I paid with a giftcard and would've liked to know what my balance was) when the cashier noticed I was still standing there, she said "You can go now" and the girl that made my sub gave me my sandwich and they both went on with their conversation as if I didn't exist. I didn't get a receipt and I had to move the stack of baskets off the stack of trays and put my sandwich on the top tray with my cup. And again, the bread on my sandwich was hard and stale. I don't think I'll ever go back to this Subway again as this was the final straw for me. I would've done the survey to tell about my experience but since I did not get a receipt, I guess this is the only way
This subway shop is a great little gem tucked away in the don mills corner.very quaint with nice seating and access.also pretty quite.perfect for a brunch or slow sandwich while catching up on some reading.
My friend and I always go to this subway and we had a bad experience, the guy that works there has horrible customer service. He was extremely rude and was being disrespectful towards us for no reason.
Amazing service given by one of the staff member shravani. Even though she was alone at the store she managed all the customer very well and also made great sandwiches! Keep it up
The servers make terrible sandwiches. They barely put any amount of toppings That u ask for, even after asking them to put more. Very miserly. I've been going here for 4 years, but i won't go anymore. Very disappointed.
