My girlfriend went to sugar moon today for the waxing and it was her first time doing any kind of treatment like this. It would have been a pretty good experience if not for Sushmita who said her eyebrows "look horrible" and that she'll do them for her even though that was not what she booked ahead of time. She came home incredibly insecure about them. If you go here ask to be treated by anyone else.

I got my first ever wax here last month and the experience was lovely. Anastasiia made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job. I also appreciate the different kinds of care products they offer in the front desk area, there was a product I was gonna order online but it was there, it saved me the time and trouble of having to find it online and wait. I’m glad I have a place to not only get my waxes done, but find certain care products that I can’t find anywhere but online.

This review is a week overdue but here goes:
I saw Terez last week for my very first Brazilian wax ever. Naturally, I was so nervous and worried prior to my appointment. Not only did she help calm my nerves but she was superrrr attentive and gentle. She made great conversation to distract me from the process, I was in there laughing the whole time.
She even advised me on some aftercare tips to help prevent ingrowns. This experience was a 10/10. Thankyou so much Terez!

This is a years overdue review…. I originally found them (Danforth location) online as waxing doesn’t work for my skin…off the bat I had a great experience I did Brazilian and results were great customer service great and they make you feel really comfortable…my only problem is distance cause I live far east otherwise I would go regular but I only trust them especially with my girly parts lol…and sugaring in general really good for the skin

Very welcoming, kind and professional staff! They make sure you’re relaxed throughout the whole process and are judgement free. Only thing is, the prices are kinda high and I believe regular waxing gives better results. But to each their own!

First timer here. Wow! I was expecting an uncomfortable at best experience, but found my first eyebrow sugaring almost pleasant. I've even booked my next appointment!

Been a client at Sugarmoon for many years now and the service from end to end has been wonderful. Great administrative team that is welcoming and all estheticians I've had have been positive experiences. Special shout outs to: Terez, Faiza, Gayani and Greta - from sugaring to facials they are all amazing!

I usually go to another place to get sugared but figured I'll try this place because it's closer to home. It was more affordable but the results and technique aren't great. My g-string bikini sugar was asymmetrical and extremely painful (moreso than at the other salon), and now that it's been 2 weeks I can see from the regrowth that a lot hairs weren't removed from the root, so now I've got a patch where it's growing back soft, but the sides are growing thick and blunt. For the price though, I suppose the results are fair, but I'm not sure I'll come back.

Such a great place! After many bad experiences with waxes, I was suggested sugaring. I have been seeing Faiza for over a year and she is absolutely incredible. I always feel like I'm catching up with an old friend when I see her.

Started coming to Sugarmoon when a friend recommended it to me earlier this year and I haven’t stopped going since. Everyone is so lovely, knowledge and very professional.

Cricel was so lovely and patient with me even though I came late she gave me full service anyway and was thorough in explaining the process and the aftercare. It’s been two weeks, hair is just starting to grow back. This was my very first time trying sugaring and I am a changed woman. I have no ingrowns, which waxing usually gave me. I will definitely be rebooking with Cricel for the rest of my life thank you

Amazing service! I was recommended by a friend to come here and try sugaring. The technician was so thorough and gentle and precise. The result was perfect, especially considering my brows are quite uneven naturally. Zero pain or redness after. I'm a sugarmoon/ sugaring convert for sure.
I've been to a handful of places for brows and hands down this was the best. After I got my brows micro-bladed I wanted to invest in getting them shaped professionally and I'm so glad I did. I like their queer-friendly booking too!

I’m not sure whether the folks leaving 5 star reviews have never experienced sugaring any place else, but after being sugared in two other spots, this was by far the worst experience at three different times and two different technicians to give it a shot. The sugar doesn’t feel as natural as just lemon, sugar, water and the technique is awful with lots of pulling and going over the same area multiple times. Having been to other places and experiencing seamlessly painless process in a more spa-like/less clinical environment, believe the only reason they are in business is lack of competition on the east end. They also appear to book back to back with not much personal touches/customer service.

Tried sugaring for the first time here at Sugarmoon. Gayani did a great job and would come again!

I love body sugaring and the staff at Sugarmoon are amazing and friendly. If you are looking for a great place with a welcoming atmosphere this is where you need to go!

My 1st time at sugar moon and my experience was amazing. The staff is very professional and the lady waxing me (can’t remember her name) made me feel comfortable, did the waxing relatively quick and did an incredible job. Sugar waxing was much less painful and I find it to last longer. I’ll be coming back again!

I have been a customer at Sugarmoon for over ten years now and I always recommend booking an appointment here whenever anyone asks. I’ve been a loyal customer to Cricel and she is amazing! She’s always gentle and efficient, and the time always goes by so quickly. In my honest opinion, I think it’s a myth that sugaring is more painful than waxing. Before coming to Sugarmoon I had been waxing since a young age. And I can’t see myself ever going back to waxing.
I highly recommend!

This review is long over due but very necessary… I started coming here about a year ago and when I say I’m obsessed … I mean it. My first ever sugar wax was done by Terez and I will continue to keep going to her. She does a great job and made me feel very comfortable especially when it was my first time. Very clean and great staff!

I have never been in the place but when I walked by today they had a window full of balloons and no matter how good the service might be I would never go into any place that had balloons. They should know how deadly balloons are to all kinds of animals and wildlife and nobody needs them now.

I’ve been going to Sugarmoon for the past 5 years. Would definitely recommend this place for sugaring. The staff there are great! It is easy to reschedule appointments when needed. They offer a wide selection of skin care products to meet various needs. The salon is also very clean!

My service with Cricel today was absolutely fantastic, little to no pain compared to waxing. So easy and fast! She’s so kind and I will definitely be returning again! The setup of the salon is so nice and the checkout process was simple, quick and cashless. Love it!

Went here for a spray tan yesterday. Overall good but my hands turned out looking gross - all uneven colour, covered in streaks. I followed all the tips - exfoliating before the procedure, not using moisturizers and not showering after for 10 hours. I called 10 times the next day to see if they can fix it, but nobody picked up or returned my message.

Biggest location they have, clean and all the staff I encountered were very kind. The girl who did my sugaring was very nice, kept conversation and made sure I was comfortable. Very nice enviornment, however some of the rooms appeared to be unfinished and not as clean as the waiting area. Visited the Danforth location as they were completely booked at the others. Only place that had availability for short notice booking (i.e. Day of).

Great service and great staff. I recommended this place to a lot of my friends and they're all now on going clients.

I totally love my new brows. I had been growing them in for quite some time to get them reshaped and Crisel (might be spelled wrong) did such a nice job. She was very thorough, explained every step and showed me in the mirror to double check that I liked each step. Really nice decor, so bright!
The receptionist is super friendly too.
They sell some wonderful products in the front of the shop, have a cute little sitting area and offer water or tea while you wait.
Great location on the Danforth.
I will definitely be a regular customer.

I came here for the first time a couple of years ago when I first wanted to try getting a Brazilian. I’d never done any kind of professional waxing prior to this and I’d only had negative at-home waxing experiences so I remember being terrified. Luckily enough the staff here is amazing! They’re always so friendly, welcoming, and great at what they do. I’ve been getting sugared for about over two years now and I haven’t gone anywhere else. I’ve never had a bad experience here ever!

The sugaring was really painful but totally expected. Staff was professional and friendly and would go back again. There's free street parking available on Danforth in the evening which was super convenient.

Straight after the procudere my skin looked good, but the next day when all redness and irritation have gone I saw hair on my skin.
They didn't follow the right technique that should be applied that's why my hair was not pulled out but cut. It seems like they don't know what sugaring is at all. I did almost full body and I saw how they worked. During their work I asked why they are applying sugar and pulling it the wrong direction not as it should be and they said it's fine. In result I've paid too much for upsetting result.
