Beautiful, large much needed relocation which can accommodate more guests and large groups!

This restaurant has so much potential since the food is outstanding! However, the service is terrible. I ate here on relatively quiet Tuesday night. There was only one staff member serving tables and making drinks. Once we sat down it took over 10 minutes for the server to first come over. Once we placed our order, the food came out in reasonable time and was delicious. The server never checked us on during our meal. We then had to waive down the waiter again to get our bill.

I really hope they invest in more staff and/or have a server who can handle multiple tables. My recommendation would be to do takeout for this restaurant until they improve their service.

Recently moved into bigger place but still very close. Npw we can have more tables and more space. Food is always authentic (Im not Thai but I’ve been there many times) happy to have this restaurant in my area

Server was really nice when I came to pick it up but I'm not sure if this worth $20.00 (each container) ? I feel like they might've switched the packaging and the portions feel a lot smaller for take out but ya, I definitely don't think it's worth the $ for the portion size as $20 is usually a fair price (you can have it for more than 1 meal) it tasted amazing though!

The food was good and the staffs are all friendly. Thanks a lot for the good service from the manager and crews keep up the good work.will be back soon to order again.

The patio is a nice addition. We were able to get a table right away as a large group. The ambiance was lovely.

The food is delicious, we tried everything from cashew chicken, kaosoi, green curry was our favourite. Thai tea is always delicious

I highly recommend making reservations, this place has limited seating.

The food is okay maybe 3.5/5. The problem is that they charge you 18% service charge for a larger group without notifying you (it was only written at the very bottom of the receipt). I paid for the meal and did not realize this until after. The waitress gave me the debit machine with the tips option still there without telling me that the service charge was already added to the total bill. I think this is really deceitful and not honest as most people will probably just add the extra tips without checking. Please either not pre charge your customers with service charge or please give your customers a heads up. In the past, most restaurants that do this kind of practice would notify their customers beforehand.

Me and my date came here to meet up with our friends for dinner. I got the chicken skewer and thai iced tea, my date had the chicken paid thai noodles.

We all enjoyed the meal and the experience was great. The employees are nice as well. The place is so neat, i loved the decorations!

This is easily the best Thai food I had in a long time! I tried other restaurants in the the US and this does not compare! Amazing customer service at a decent price! They have spice levels on food that accommodates tolerance levels. It was so filling and oh so good!

This restaurant served the best thai food in town specially the pad thai, highly recommended to anyone. The staffs are friendly and aproachable the foods are so delicous totally nice experienced we had on this area thank you so much also to the manager name christian who accomodated us beyond expectation He did all around not only being a manager but we saw also he became our server and did cashiering too. He did a great customer service to my family.good job! Keep up the good work over all great experienced indeed!

Loved the food. The restaurant is kinda small but the vibe is good. Only complaint I have was that there was a lot of traffic in and out in the restaurant as a lot of online delivery drivers were coming and it got super cold in there. But the food was amazing and the service was good too.

Super depressing. I used to regularly rave about this place having the best pad thai in the city, but that is simply not the case anymore.

I visited today after again after almost a year and everything has changed for the absolute worst. They used to have something called "Sukhothai Famous Pad Thai" that has now become something called Chef Nuit Pad Thai which is like sad cafeteria version of what they used to serve in every way.

This place used to serve a heaping portion in a big bowl (for $16), which is now a tiny portion on a small plate ($19). I ordered spicy and it was bland and not spicy at all. Previously the medium level used to almost have me in tears. And somehow the noodles were steaming hot, but the edges of the meat portions were super cold. Overall a huge disappointment and I miss the other pad thai and better care that used to go into the dishes here. It has now become fast food pad thai for the price of a restaurant.

Will be looking for a new best in Toronto pad thai.

This is our favourite Thai food in town. Authentic Thai. Pad Thai is great (not ketchup-y) and excellent curry.

Very small dining space but super convenient if you live in Corktown. Was expecting wider noodles in the Pad Kee Mao. Also be warned that the spice level is much more intense in the dry noodle dishes. The Khao Soi was lovely but the same spice level was much more muted (and manageable!) Shrimp fresh rolls were tasty but not particularly spectacular.

Go back for the food not the service. I live in the neighbourhood even while takeout the whole experience is very cold. Its very obvious the ppl who work there do not enjoy their job.

Khao soi ($19) was just okay here. Have had it at the other locations but this one wasn't as good.

No spice, no pickled sides, was missing the punch of flavor in the soup

Location is small, inside maybe has 6 or 7 tables. Outdoor patio had some space. Think alot of orders are for takeout in the area

Food was awesome but there were a lot of bees around their patio. It was annoying to eat with flies and bees.

I really like the Sukho Thai at this location. Tasty food and quick service! Gaeng garee is my go to because I love some potato with my curry! Try it out and you won’t be disappointed!

-1 star as they said the mango juice was real mango, but it was definitely watered down from concentrate.

Please do not get pad Thai from this location. Extremely soggy and disgusting and tasted like the cheap Thai chains pad Thai. Pick some other location

I've been a loyal customer of this chain of Thai restaurants brought to us by Chef Nuit for over a decade now and have watched their growth and success over the past 10+ years. They are the best Thai food in the city! I used to go out of my way to stop by their first Parliament location all the way from Mississauga until they opened their other more west-endish locations. Much to my surprise when I finally moved to Corktown that there was a location close to me. I'm looking forward to visiting them more often! (Although I wish their prices weren't so high.)

Have eaten here once or twice many years back, when I was new to the city.
Favorite dish was definitely the Pad Thai!
Sounds generic but really was delicious.

Their green curry was tasty as well, though it didn't stand out as an exceptional dish compared to other restaurants with similar cuisine offerings.

Customer service was great and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting, the kind of place you want to go with your family and friends. I hope to visit this place again soon, and wish that they become even more successful as a business.

I loved Sukothai from the very fist time we stumbled across it on Parliament Street many years ago. I had a birthday party catered by them 10 years ago and another one this past weekend. The Front street location is excellent - close to a park and with an airy patio, away from the noise of the city. The food, as always, fabulous. We had take away catering for 30 people and Krishna put it together in a logical well-organized way that made it easy to unpack and spread it all once it ended up on our tables. She was amiable, effective and responsive throughout the whole process, making this a delightful and easy way to handle food for so many people. My friends have been sending me emails raving about the food. You are soooo cool, Sukothai ️️️

Amazing food! Probably the best Thai food I have ever had. We specifically asked for spicy everything and it was perfect. The green curry chicken had a nice kick to it, the gravy was creamy and delicious. The Tom yum soup was a good surprise. At a glance it seemed really watery but when you taste it you get the real flavours. The only downside is the construction just infront of the restaurant, making it a little tricky to park. But honestly the food is so good that we don’t mind to park down the next block just to try their cuisine. Definitely coming back for more!

I did find the spice levels to be a bit milder than the SukhoThai on front street but overall great food and service.
Expect to pay approx $20-$30 per person.

The restaurant was smaller inside than expected. Servers were attendative. Food was delicious. We ordered lemongrass fish; the size of the fish was big. The breading was top notch, crispy and the fish was fresh and juicy.

Red curry was also delicious. The perfect amount that isn't too small or too much, just right.

Both entrees came with a side of rice.

Simply the best, better than all the rest, I’ve never had bad food or drink here and the service is phenomenal!

I went with my fiancée as she loves this food somehow. I thought I loved Thai food before I came here. The shrimp rolls were great, however the beef Khao Soi was pretty vial. I’ve never hated a beef curry more in my life. It wasn’t THAT bad with rice, however with the soggy noodles under it, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. We also had the Gaeng Masaman (a dish I’ve had before and I know it’s amazing), it was so bad that if the khao soi was a 3/10, the Masaman was definitely a 1/10. Will never return again.

This is a shrimp roll? I need a microscope to see the shrimp lol. Fried rice was good but got 6 shrimp for nearly $20, definitely not worth it.

Best overall Thai restaurant in Toronto! My other favorite is Pai, which also has the same ownership.

Still looking for Thai food that is “to die for”. This place was a miss.
Food quality was good, I’ll start on a positive note.but portion was small, so hungry after. We got Panag and a green curry, both entree portions. Flavor was blah and crazy expensive. Very disappointed, skip this one.

Breaks my heart to give two stars - but this place needs to change. It's one of the only resto options in our area and I absolutely love their sister restaurants.

Unfortunately, Sukhothai Front is not good. It's extremely overpriced, bland, and has very bad customer service. You will also wait a very, very long time for food MOST of the time (admittedly there are exceptions).

I would avoid if possible, until they address some obvious issues they have (but it's been a while now so I doubt they will).

Went here a while ago, the food was perfect! Everything was delicious. We had the mango salad, panang curry and the pla-tod! Our server Krishna was terrific, she was so attentive made sure we have everything we need. Awesome service from her! We will definitely be back!

Service was absolutely atrocious. From the start of walking in, asking for the menu, to ordering and being served the food - the waitresses were so rude and had a lot of attitude. The waitresses and order taker didn’t even want to answer our questions, and not once did any of them smile, act nice or thanked us for our business. When I asked for lime in my take out bag, and noticed there were none, I told them POLITELY, and they gave me attitude and gave me dirty looks. They took unbelievable long just to get lime and tossed it onto the table rudely - even then I said thank you, and she stared at me and walked away. They had a problem with us ordering from THEM and sitting on their patio and told us very rudely we can’t eat there when the sign said it was specifically open for customers. When the waitress came out to give me my lime, she purposely moved the signed for the patio that said it’s open for customers “within our view”, demonstrating passive aggressiveness.
I love sukhoTHAI and have been multiple time’s but I will not be returning to this location.

Average Thai food, at least for this Corktown location. Extra points for the tom yum kung and chicken nuggets though! Those were yummy and flavourful. However - the Staff took some time to get our orders (it was me and four others) BUT it wasn’t even busy, there were two other small tables at that time. No one came over to refill our cups with water until we asked. Also, they did not have one of the cocktails on the menu because they ran out of ingredients and it was only 3: 45pm in the afternoon. My husband ordered Singha beer on tap but they gave him a bottle instead, the waitress obviously did not pay attention when taking down our orders and I was somewhat annoyed at that point. What’s even more concerning was no one came over to ask for our contact information, there were no hand sanitizers on site so, a few COVID protocols were lacking. They are also losing another star because 4 out of 5 of us got our food within 15-20 minutes and the poor 5th person didn’t get his until everyone else finished. The timing of serving the food was way off and we were all sitting there watching our friend eat his meal last. When it came to checking out, we asked to split bills and the waiter asked us three times who ordered what (grrrrrrr!). Don’t think I’ll come to this location again, will stick with the Wellington location instead. Very. Terrible. Customer. Service.
