I hired Suma law in 2019 to handle our case. I wanted to find a lawyer that was based in Canada, however, most of the communication was done from a whatsapp number in India.

When I received my invitation from OINP, they submitted my application and failed to tell me that I must also authorize the organization to share the results of my ECA with the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (not IRCC). Looks like the team in India was not aware of the process. Hence, my long waited invitation was rejected due to "insufficient documents".

What followed was a long list of lies, they claimed that the government made a mistake and will "fix" it in two weeks, and the this kept dragging off for months until we figured out that it was all lies.

We eventually got invited in another draw, and instead to responsibly process our case. They asked me to pay them again for processing because "they kept our file on". I had to pay another law firm from the scratch to handle our file.

I am not mad that they made is mistake, it's the mental torture of being lied to and being dragged on and then having the audacity of asking for more.

Suma and her team were very professional and helped me with my commercial real estate transaction.

The absolute worst! Kept my money for an entire year only to receive terrible service and having to beg for service! Got an appointment showed up on time only to be told I can’t be seen. Only one word that comes to mind after experiencing suma law services is PATHETIC. If anyone thinking to opt their services for study visa, then i would suggest no to them. According to my personal experience they first talk confidently about our profile, but after paying the registration fee they doesn’t respond our queries whether it might be related to college admission or any visa related queries. Because of their lack of guidance and improper documentation work i got visa rejection. Opting Suma law created a bad remark on my profile. Most importantly they does not review the SOP draft given by the student. They just simply attach the same without any alteration. It was a very horrible experience for me.

I have had great experience dealing with Ms Suma Rao and her dedicated team. Although at times there has been some delay in responding due to the work load but they have always been helpful and cooperative in completing the required task. Ms Suma Rao is a thorough professional in her work and has provided useful guidance on many aspects of our immigration issues.
