Sumaq Iraqi Charcoal Grill (Mississauga)

I went there with my friend and we both felt extremely sick after eating. I ended up vomiting that night.

The vibe in this restaurant felt so wholesome, it felt like I was at home. The food was amazing and the service was as well. I will be definitely coming back again!

Great service. Great food. Great people. One of our servers was so kind and gave us free Kunafa! Honestly, come here for authentic middle eastern food and treatment! Thank you, Sumaq, for a great evening!

Good food, but quite expensive don't take their recommendation on quantity you should order. It's a lot of food. Order less, what the staff says is meant for 4 ppl is actually meant for 6.

Overall Worst experience. First of the all place was overcrowded. They let us in after 15 mins of waiting and provided Table of 4 where there was only 2 chairs. After asking multiple time other 2 chairs were provided. Staff was very unresponsive.we ordered chicken Tikka Grill Platter it was all dry without any sauce or dip. We have to order dip which they charge additionally. The Naan provided on top it was all cold.we have to return them and ask for fresh ones.
Bad Service.

Came here for lunch with family after so many people recommended this spot. Food was fresh and it was great quality. Especially loved the fresh naan.

Great service, and the food is really good, but the portions on their platters are pretty small. I recommend the chicken shawarma on Samoon, which tastes amazing

One of the worst restaurant i have ever visited…ordered mix platter and iraqi kebob platter…meat portion was very less for the price you pay…it was tasteless…meat had its own weird smell n no taste at all…rice was horrible and old…they charge insane service fee without telling on top …stay away from this restaurant …if i could give negative 5 for this restaurant i wud…

The food, the service and the wait time was amazing! We didn’t wait long to get a table and the servers came around to check on us multiple times! I highly recommend this place! The food was sooooooo good!

Not genuine iraqi foods, it's totally different from the food in Iraq, service is bad, difficult to find person serving us, no tissues, expensive for non tasty food

Great place to eat Iraqi food. Taste was nice. Ample serving. 15 mins wait to be seated. Server forgot to bring chicken skewers in the platter, which we pointed out. Overall a satisfactory experience.
Prices not too high. Around $80 for 3 people.

One of the best places in the new and busy Ridgeway plaza. Food was excellent and the customer service was even better! Will definitely be coming again!

Great atmosphere, the vibe is real. Loved the Iraqi bread and garlic potatoes. Had Sumaq’s mix grill in which chicken tikka skewers were my favourite. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.

The food was ok, wasn't that much different than your regular shawarma grill, but there are much better places in Mississauga to go to if you are craving one
