Summerlea Park

Rear sides of the Park looked Untidy, unclean and uncared for with litter, bottle-can, garbage everywhere especially around the football stadium and playground. Not safe to take small children for walks here.

Has really gone down hill due to large amounts of garbage being left by other park users. The massive amounts of weekend garbage are often left until midweek

There are many different types of sports that can be seen playing in the Summerlea Park NORTH York

I was invited there on Saturday to watch a soccer match. Off all the times I’ve visited and pass by that area I never knew there was a big soccer field there. It was nice, I enjoyed the game. There’s about 3 soccer field there next to each other. I recommend bring your own chair and snacks. There’s washroom. There’s lots of parking. There’s also a cricket match that takes place. There’s women, children, and women matches.

Very nice place. Lots of families enjoying the weather, wading pool and kiddy park.
A little on the bushy side, needs to be maintained near river and along walkways/bike trails.

Good place to take the kids fishing.lots of pan fish and big carp. Lots of shade bugs are bad from 7 -9pm

I ride this trail regularly from Malton to Weston and 401.
Parking available, soccer on one side of Albion Rd. In summer, With a skating rink in winter. Cricket too.
