The doctor here really cares for his patients. Staff are kind. There is definitely a long wait but it is worth it.

Great clinic and great people. We’re very impressed by the service my wife had at this clinic. The receptionist was so kind and helpful when she answered the phone after the first ring and gave us an appointment. The doctor is a good listener and good physician who does not rush things and gives the patient all the time needed assessing their condition before prescribing any medication. Thank you so much for the good service.

First time at this clinic, they only had one receptionist and one doctor so their wait time was very long. The receptionist was fairly nice and accommodating with the amounts of patients they had. I was not told upfront I could leave and come back so I waited half an hour before I asked how much longer the wait was, and the receptionist told me it was still an hour and a half but said I could come back later. Total 2 hour wait time. Wasted half an hour waiting but it’s fine. Ran some errands before returning and saw the doctor within 5 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes in the doctors office before I was greeted. The doctor was also fairly nice and professional. Overall everything was fine here, recommend to come early and check in as they do not accept phone appointments and we’re not taking any more patients after 1: 00pm because of the large amount of people and wait times.

This was my first visit to this clinic. The receptionists were very friendly and efficient. They handled difficult clients with grace. I didn’t have to wait very long at all to see the doctor. Doctor was friendly. No hesitation in recommending this clinic.

Fantastic clinic! The doctor is quite good, efficient and has great bedside manner. The medical receptionist is friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The wait is roughly an hour long but you can do other things and come back once you’ve registered.

We showed up right before opening so there was a bit of a line up. I was there with my 7 year old who was in a lot of pain from a UTI. The receptionist was kind and empathetic while giving us realistic timelines which I appreciated.

Your front staff (blonde) is HORRIBLE! It says that the nasty behavior towards a staff won't ne tolerated. How about your staff being nasty? Any repercussions?

I've recently visited Summerside clinic 3 times, from my first visit to the third has been a great experience. The doctor answered every question I had, referred me to Guelph imaging, did follow up appointments and answered even more questions I had. The receptionist was great, really helpful and called me for the follow up appointments. I highly recommend this clinic

Responsive, polite, and friendly receptionist. Reasonable wait time. Very organized. The doctor took his time and was very patient. Excellent!

Receptionist is just rude and ignorant. Dr is nice but with these type of Receptionists his clinic has lower score

This is one of the best walk-in clinics in Ontario. I have been to different walk-in clinics in Ontario and I had some negative experience with some of the walk-ins operating in Ontario. I took my parents to this clinic and did not have any issues seeing a doctor despite they were on visitor visas. The receptionist, Laurie, is really nice and very friendly. I was able to manage two appointments on the same day. Dr. Ihab Abdelmalek is just amazing. He went through all the medical documents my parents brought from home and did not rush. He is a great doctor-very knowledgeable and kind. He listens to his patients. There is no doubt about it. We would need more and more doctors like him and more and more clinics like Summerside across Canada.

Sometimes they do walkins, but usually, you have to get an appointment.
The doctor is nice, and listens to concerns.

We came in 25 minutes before closing time hoping to see a Dr. We were advised by the receptionist they have reached capacity, the waiting room was completely empty and the back rooms were silent. They refused to make an effort to help us and it seems like their main priority was to go home early. Extremely unprofessional and unethical, especially considering you’re in the healthcare industry.

I called the clinic to check on the status of the test I took the previous week here and the receptionist claimed that I never came in and didn't register properly. I only did everything she asked me to when I came in, and they did receive my sample with the label (including my name and all information on it). This was very important that I get these results back and for her to be so rude, dismissive and unapologetic was disgusting. I was perfectly nice on the phone and this treatment was shocking and apalling for a medical clinic. Please just go somewhere else because this place is a waste of time

Don't waste your time. This clinic is a JOKE to our medical system. The doctor will not see any patients with any symptoms that could be covid, even with a negative covid test. The solution was a phone appointment for a lingering cough on a 13 year old. I'm curious to know what kind of medical diagnosis can be given over the phone for a teens cough when the doctor can't examine the patient. NO WONDER hospitals are overloaded. Doctors should not be able to pick and choose what kind of patients they see! Put your big boy pants on and do what you are paid to do! See sick patients!

I went today Saturday November 12 2022 The receptionist was the worst. The flu seasonal but she not let me and my daughter in, not even ask did we test the Covid yet. Is everyone in the waiting room not having cough, fever, running noses in this season.

Went to this clinic a while ago after falling on a nail and needing a tetanus shot. It was the fastest service I've ever received from a walk in clinic. I was in and out in under 20 minutes.

Perfect clinic for a quick visit when you need something simple.

I booked a phone appointment out of kindness since I did have a cough (even though I tested negative for COVID and have an extensive history of tonsillitis). They told me the doctor would call me between 2-7pm, I waited all day for a phone call, only to get one after 7pm which I missed by a couple mins and couldn’t call back. A week later, after my symptoms were gone, I was refused to be seen in the clinic even though I had no symptoms, (only swollen tonsils). I just wanted a strep test to rule it out. Receptionist was very rude and did not want to listen. She was very helpful to book me a phone appointment to get a step test done…over the phone.

Says they're open until 5pm. Just called and asked about wait times at 1: 30pm. Said they were closed. What?
