Sun Kwong Restaurant

As a road trip restaurant, I just want to say that it was very disappointing to me. We ordered the fried beef and rice noodles which tasted very salty, the noodles were stiff and stuck together and most of the food was wasted.

Have only had a combo plate and the ginger beef. The combo plate (chicken balls and fried rice) was about average but good. The ginger beef was very good. The prices and portions were reasonable.

Very clean and nicely decorated place. Food was soggy and bland. I could not eat it. Very disappointing.

Not recommended.
We ordered four different dishes and none of them were good. Rice was soggy, chicken balls were crispy on the outside and soggy chicken on the inside.

Service was fast but food was very bland not much taste at all girlfriend and I both had upset stomachs as soon as we finished

Great place very clean I had the cheese burger with fries and gravy. Could barely Finnish my plate. The gravy was my favorite part. The waitress was so friendly and tended well to all my needs.

Not a serious business - should be closed! The girl that takes orders is incompetent. Placed an order because Hong Kong was done taking orders with the expectation of a wait, for delivery and 3.5 hours later I called when the food didn’t show up, at almost 9 pm and she lied in front of her managers saying I never ordered it and that she can’t call “a long distance number” and that I was supposed to call her back again after ten minutes. Total fabrication! Deceptive little girl. Where is it normal for someone to place an order then call again to order a second time! Manager didn’t take ownership of the problem either and gave the phone to the girl who took the order, who then proceeded to lie repeatedly in front of her manager. Really despicable. Totally made up to save her own skin. Instead of apologizing, told me “whatever” then hung up the phone. The little girl should be fired! Avoid this place, they’re trash! And to the owners: what are you doing with your lives? Take charge of your business now and fire her! She caused too much stress and lies and she’ll do it again. You don’t argue with a customer ever and you don’t accuse a customer of lying! Read the reviews of other customers and alarmed to read about all the food quality problems. Sad to have such a place still operating.

When I came here they had just opened so it was empty but by the time it was twelve 30 there was no one so I was wierded out l. When we orders the waitress was super kind and sweet. After ordering my group and I got our food quick except for a couple dishes. But once we got them I was underwhelmed as I was expecting home cooked. A lot of the food tasted microwaved or was extremely chewy, however I enjoyed the wonton soup. When I grabbed my silverware I found sauce on my knife and there was splatters on my plate.
The atmosphere is very awkward and it is and older building with some holes in walls and cracks with water damage (no leaks tho) when I went to the bathroom it was dirty and very crowded. Overall this place would be great for takeout but dining in was not the best.

I've never been disappointed when I get take-out from Sun Kwong, but I must say, last night's Cantonese Chow Mein was the best I've ever had! Great place
