Sunningdale Neighbourhood Pet Clinic

Awful experience. Scammers out to get you, $900 and sent me home with drops they couldn’t even put in first dose.

I strongly dislike writing negative reviews, but I have decided that it's my responsibility as a pet owner, to inform other pet owners who may be considering using Sunningdale Neighbourhood Pet Clinic.

Upon walking in, the space is beautiful, modern and clean. There is a bridge over a pond and a living wall. But you will be paying for the aesthetics.

Bringing my cat in for what they consider to be a, "routine visit" cost me $132.07. The ONLY thing that they did was weigh him. There was NO physical examination done by the vet (Dr. Alec). They did not take his temperature, they did not look at his dental health, they didn't check his ear canals, they did not listen to his heart and lungs, they did not palpate his abdomen or feel his lymph nodes. Not a single thing that is expected from a Wellness Exam was done

I had to show Dr. Alec the spot on his neck with the skin irritation and I had to show him inside of my cat's ears. All physical contact with my cat was done by myself and my friend.

Despite Dr. Alec repeatedly saying that the symptoms are those of an allergic reaction, instead of trying more affordable options, he said he was not willing to "guess" and I was provided with a near $800 estimate for sedation and a skin biopsy.

I have no doubt that a corticoid steroid would have been a better and less invasive approach.

So overall, I spent over $130 to find out how much my cat weighs.

Please consider using another veterinary clinic who is more interested in the wellness of your pet, instead of lining their pockets.

We have been long time customers of Neighbourhood Pet clinic and have made visits at all locations across London.
We are loving this new location which is much more convenient to where we live!

I really love this new location Dr. Alec was fantastic with my puppy. He saw him at a moments notice. The new location is super professional, clean & tidy. I saw some familiar faces which is always nice. I’m sure we’ll be back several times in the future. I will continue to bring my dogs there, and any future animals that I get. I trust the doctors at neighborhood. No one ever lies to me or tries to sell me on something that I don’t need. I recommend neighbourhood vet to everybody that asks for suggestions. Looking forward to working with you in the future.

I went in during COVID and was asked to wait outside for the duration of my emergency visit. That's fine.
I was thankful my pup was okay and the payment slipped my mind- Never once did I receive any calls or emails from the clinic informing me of my mistake.
Months later, I receive a call from collections stating that I owe $120. Really?
I paid it and left it til now, when I moved cities and my new vet reached out to Neighborhood for my dogs' history, and they told my new clinic that I was removed from their system due to unpaid bills? How unprofessional and inappropriate. All over $120. Shows that money is more important than their clients.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us say goodbye to our 20 year old “Cleo Kitten”. Starting with Samantha who was able to book an appointment for us with Dr. Alec for the next morning. We specifically asked for Dr. Alec to help us, as he was there for us to say goodbye to our 20 year old “Gidget” in Dec/21 at their North London location. We were greeted by their wonderful staff at reception whom already had a room ready for us. We were then greeted with Dr. Alec and Fiona. They are both very warm and compassionate people and very supportive and understanding. They were so gentle and caring with our Cleo Kitten. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and to stay with her afterwards for a while. Fiona was also great with arranging cremation services for us. We highly recommend their dedicated team to anyone in need of their services. They are exceptional people. We would give them 10 stars if we could.

Recently moved to London and have been looking for a new vet for my cat. Neighbourhood Pet Clinic was quick to respond to my emails and set me up with an appointment. My cat can be pretty anxious and frequently gets car sick. They were incredibly patient with her and gave her lots of time to relax - because of this, she was a cool, calm, collected superstar during her check up.

Every member of the clinic that we had the pleasure of interacting with was wonderful. Our vet, Alec, was knowledgeable and extremely personable. My cat didn't even notice him giving her her vaccine.

This is the first time my cat has ever been so calm at the vet, and I really appreciate the friendly and outstanding care they provided. They even sent her home with a little catnip toy that she's been obsessed with. 10 stars!
