Recently had an elderly relative (85) medivac’d to the burn centre at Sunnybrook with serious burns over most of his legs and hands. Immediately received a call from the social worker (Anne Hayward) to explain everything we needed to know about his care protocol and means to communicate with our loved one due to covid restrictions on visitation. The staff at this facility were the angels you hope will be caring for your loved ones in similar conditions. He can be difficult at times but even he had nothing but praise for the staff.
I must add a special shout out to Anne for her help with all the little things that we couldn’t do due to the no visitation rules. This was a very difficult time for our family but Anne and the staff at Sunnybrook gave us the peace of mind that he was in good hands. Thank you for everything and God bless.
