Convenient place to get Caribbean food, even on Holidays. The price and portions for the meals are ok. I do recommend their meals.

Horrible place to go.
First time I go to this restaurant, I find a tall black girl with a gloomy face, she was facing away from the cash, I say hello 4 times, but she doesn't respond or even turn to look at me, then at once she turned and her head and yelled at me in a big voice, Am busy, you have to wait! Rolled her eyes and went on with her things.
Second time, I walk in, I find this short light skinned black girl, she's busy with the debt machine, I say hello, but she just continues and never raise her head to look at me.
They have the worst employes with the worst attitudes and customer service.

I’m bought a curried goat, oxtail and 2 red peas soups at this restaurant and the food was the most distasteful Jamaican food I’ve ever had! The soup was tangy, like no red peas soup should be tangy and taste like tomato soup. The Curried goat was bland and full of fat. They used sheep meat not real goat meat. The oxtail was not bad but please stop putting sugar in it. I just lost $61, I’m very disappointed.

J and the team bring amazing food with amazing service. When ever I have a craving for some Caribbean food sunrise is usually my first choice!

So slow the service omg! You cannot serve only two people working and talking on the phone, that’s why the orders takes so long

I usually get there chicken soup but today felt like fried chicken meal.it was good hot and fresh. I enjoyed it!

Pretty good Caribbean food has the curry goat and rice combo. The goat was a bit fatty for my taste. Also had festivals and fried plantains on the side

Portions are generous & the food is delicious. Got the jerk chicken with rice/peas and ox tail gravy, highly recommended!

The service was really bad and it taste like the food was reheated, also the coleslaw was spoiled, we call to notify them and they were so rude. Disappointed that the could have poisoned us with no apologies at all

Chicken is not fall off the bone and although I love spice, I found it too salty.
Prices are on the higher end.
I think it comes down to this place has too much going on their menu. Stick to a few things and perfect them.

Highly disappointed. The curry was oily and tasteless yet salty.
Goat head soup was a bowl of salt and the rice could have been cooked a bit longer (unless it was bun bun I got).
The king fish dinner wasnt even worth the the effort of chewing. 56 bucks later and I'm looking for something else to eat.i guess I should just
have an orange and call it a night.at least with an orange I know what I'm getting.upside is the fruit cake is really good and of course sunrise doesn't make that.good thing lol.i guess ill take this as a Loss, next time I'll just order from twice as nice and call it a day.

I adore this place a lot. It has a nice air. The meals are splendid.the service is efficient and the stuff is polite. The cost is modest. I definitely recommend.

I have had no problems with this location! I order through Skip the dishes and they always take care of me, even when I need some extra gravy much love

Disgusting food. Bone shards throughout the curry chicken to the point you can risk eating it. The Rice and Beans was not fresh and had hard clumps. Sad cause the little we did taste was not bad and good spice. Shame it seemed the chicken when through a blender with the bones.

I am very disappointed. I ordered on Ubereats. In order a medium chicken soup. It was pure chicken bone, no vegetables and 1 dumpling. I also ordered a stew chicken with white rice I received a stew chicken with rice and peas. I am allergic to coconut. The part that upsets me the most is the lady there when I called said she called and advised me that there was no white rice and I was ok with rice and peas. I would never ok that. What a liar. That's the worse part over all. You did NOT call me.
