I cannot express how exceptional our experience at Sunrise of Burlington has been. From the moment I stepped through their doors, I knew I had found the perfect place for my mom. The staff are outstanding. They have not only met but exceeded every expectation I had. They are compassionate, caring, and genuinely invested in the well-being of each resident. It's evident that they view their work as a calling, not just a job. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and cherished. The facilities at Sunrise of Burlington are amazing. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and offer a beautiful view. The common areas are inviting and very clean. There's a sense of community here that is truly heartwarming, and the range of activities and events available to my mom and all the residents ensures that there's always something interesting for her to do and someone wonderful to meet. One of the things I appreciate most is the emphasis on individualized care. They understand that everyone has unique needs and preferences, and they tailor their services. Whether it's dietary restrictions, medical requirements, or personal hobbies, they take the time to get to know each resident personally. I am so happy we chose Sunrise of Burlington as my mom’s new home. She is happy, comfortable, and feels very safe and secure. I would highly recommend Sunrise!

My mom has lived at Sunrise of Burlington for the past 3 months, and I couldn't be happier with her experience. From day one, the staff has gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. The living spaces are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for seniors. My 95 year old Mom is a new resident at Sunrise and my family cannot say enough about the excellent care and compassion she receives here.

The entire staff have been generous and friendly to all residents and visitors from the moment we stepped in.

Everyone from the front desk to the administrators to the wellness staff and support workers are so kind and attentive to all the residents.

There are activities daily if the residents are inclined and the activity coordinator is excellent at keeping the residents engaged. When I walk in, there is almost always an activity taking place!

The dining room is elegant and meals are nicely presented and healthy. I feel like I am in a lovely hotel. It is a cheerful place to be.

I cannot say enough about the excellent support workers here who really care for the needs of the residents. They are the sweetest and warmest and most efficient workers I have ever encountered. They are always cheerful and super attentive to my Mom’s needs. They are excellent and do an amazing job. I feel that my Mom is really taken care of and happy here.

My mom has been here for over 3 years now and we are very happy with the care she gets. The staff are very caring and attentive. Management is very approachable and have followed up promptly with issues we have brought to their attention.

I have visited this community several times. It is always clean, has friendly staff and residents seem very happy.

Our mom had been living on her own in a retirement residence, but unfortunately had started to decline quite rapidly in the last 5 months. Between being hospitalized and needing much more care, and desperately trying to stay away from longterm care, we were faced with limited options to meet all her needs. From the moment we spoke to Shea, and then later Tonia, we knew we had found the right place. Every single person we have encountered and dealt with at Sunrise, has been incredible. From the care management team to the nursing staff, the concierges, the recreation staff, everyone has been extremely kind, gentle, attentive and available to our mom (and us). They treat her like she’s family. They have assisted us with the coordination of Home and Community Care Support, they continuously take an active role in my mom’s care by asking us questions, having the doctor call when we had concerns about her pain management, and so on. Yes, this residence is on the pricey side, but knowing our mom is being cared for so well, having the peace of mind that she is always checked on and always tended to - makes it worth every penny.

My mom has been at Sunrise for 4 years now. It has been a blessing for my family and I. From the front door concierge to the dining staff to the care team I can’t say enough great things. My mom has been on every floor at Sunrise. When I bring her down from the third floor the staff on the other floors always say hi to her. You may move around but you are never forgotten. The price is worth every penny!

I moved here with my husband, who we were assured would get the nursing care he needed, which has proven to be true. I felt it was important that we should stay together and feel the progress of his Alzheimer’s has slowed since I have been able to stay with him. I appreciate very much the loving care we both receive here and the family atmosphere.

Clean, close to good shopping and the lake, lots of walkable diversions nearby. Well staffed, friendly and competent.

The staff here is absolutely amazing and the care is outstanding. I am so happy I chose this place for my Aunt, she was so loved by everyone. I loved that it is a smaller community, everyone feels like family. I highly recommend this retirement home, well worth every penny for the care and attention my Aunt received.

If I could give more stars I would! The staff at this home cared for my loved one like they were their own family member. They handle the pandemic like true heroes and my family is forever grateful. They kept and continue to keep their residents safety priority number one.

Where do i start…. The feeling you get when you walk through the front doors to speaking to the entire Sunrise Team (Family) is truly outstanding. I would actually feel honoured to leave my own parents here to enjoy the rest of there time on this earth. I feel strongly that everyone who works here don’t feel like it’s a job but a blessing to be apart of such an amazing team.
