My mom lived very comfortably at Sunrise of Richmond Hill from fall 2021 to fall 2023. We found the facility clean, pleasant and well-organized, and the staff — from the front desk right through to the back office — cheerful and courteous. The nursing team and care coordinators were proactive in keeping us up to date on my mom’s wellness, and the care team on the memory care floor showed genuine kindness and fondness for her. Sunrise provided a range of activities for her to engage in according to her ability, which we always felt welcome to participate in during our visits. We were very happy with our decision to make Sunrise Mom’s home.

I am a private caregiver of one resident at sunrise Richmond hill.i am highly recommend of this place because all the staff of Richmond are very friendly and reliable staff specially Magda very friendly coordinator at 4th floor area. And the food are more variety or choices everyday there always have entairnment concert at 4th floor area.the performer is Danny Paragas.

I would give Sunrise a 10 star of I could! It's a beautiful place and the staff is amazing. My 95 yr old mom is well taken care. They go above and beyond to make sure her needs are met and they are in constant contact with me. My mom is in the memory care program where she interacts with others and her day is filled with activities. I feel safe knowing that she's in good hands. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Sunrise!

Sunrise of Richmond Hill is a great retirement home with great staff and people who care for your elderly loved ones. As a placement student, I saw this firsthand and I also would like to say that the activities department keep the seniors active and engaged.

Sunrise is a well managed home for seniors and the folks there are professional and really care for the residents. The location is well located and the facilities is right sized, unlike the the big ones that is managed like institutions, this one is personal and has a home feel. Highly recommended.

What a great place to stay for respite care! I have had a hip replacement and came to Sunrise directly after. I am just completing a 4 week stay. The staff are very cheerful and helpful, Food is healthy, delicious and nicely served. Dining is open seating and you can go to the dining room anytime within dining hours and get great service. Medical services are readily available as well. The home is well kept and is in a lovely treed setting with a walkway available for getting out and walking.
My room is well kept and laundry done weekly (or as needed).
Health precautions are in place as needed, staff is masked and gloved. My stay has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Sunrise.

Sunrise is a beautiful well maintained and well organized place. It’s welcoming with positive energy and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
It also offers a wide range of activities and programs for the residents. I have been teaching yoga here for the past 7 years and I have seen the residents really enjoying this place. It’s a home away from home for them…Nice and cozy.
