I went in to see if they had any Avril Lavign albums and the guy handed me the only one they had. I was thinking about buying it but decided not to and put it in a different spot then where he got it from and he followed me into another store and accused me of stealing it before checking to see if maybe I had put it in a different spot!

A great selection of vinyl records! The store manager Martin creates a wonderful experience with his wealth of music knowledge, always going out of his way to help with with whatever you need. Regardless of what I came to the mall for, I always stop in Sunrise Records because of the friendly staff and awesome music.

Decent selection of pop records on vinyl. Reasonability of the price really varies, sometimes the price is way better than average, sometimes it's $30+ above average for a given pressing (this especially affects artists like Frank Zappa, Lady Gaga, and Charli XCX).

A small chunk of the records I've bought here have come warped, though that could very well have been an issue at the warehouse rather than here given how infrequently I've had this issue.

Employees are very nice and helpful.

If you're looking for pop and rock from the last 20 years, this place is good. If you're looking for something older or more obscure, you'll probably have better luck at Dr. Disc or Galaxy Records.

I worked at this location for 3 years and it hurts to see it in such a sad state. It seems like daily tasks such as stocking, stickering and cleaning are completely neglected. The staff is inattentive to customers walking in (10 minutes in the store without a greeting) and frustrated when asked to look something up. Windows, displays, lights and speakers are all in disarray, the store has a multi speaker stereo with 4 amps and they use a single Bluetooth speaker in the corner, along with 250+ lights with over 70% burnt out. This staff and management should have immense pride offering physical media to a community that still loves analog and sharing stories about the local scene. In stead I get end of life Sears/Zellers. Breaks my heart.

Never any vinyl I'm looking for in stock. I ordered an album, and in 6 months I gave up. Called many times to check in. Was not a rare album either.

I like cds and found 2 artists that were at a great price I did not find any deals on the dvds I was looking for maybe the next time.

On March 2,2023 a group of friends and I decided to browse the store. When we went in, we were never asked if we need assistance looking for anything, sales associates also did not speak to us. After being there for less than 10 minutes, we left the store only for the anti theft detector to go off, no workers were around so we decided to leave. We walked away normally and started to browse the other shops when we heard someone yelling after us.one of the workers ran after us and confronted us asking if we took anything and telling us that we needed to stop when the alarm goes off. We told him that we didn’t take anything, and he just stared at us and to told us that we looked specious for not stopping. The worker was rude and he came off aggressive. I can honestly say I will never visit this store again. Racial discrimination at its finest.

Yesterday I got hit by a car in the parking lot.as I was coming to this man with long brown hair came running to my rescue, he was so kind and gentle and was genuinely concerned about my well being. I asked the man what his name was, he said his name was dean. He was the sweatiest there. Definitely coming back when my legs aren’t broken.

The people working there actually know about music and what they have and don't have in stock before even double checking. Gave it 4 stars because they haven't had what I wanted the last 3 times I've went. Other than that, great customer service, and lots of other stuff in stock

Love the selection of stuff here. I wish they had a bit more metal available (it's usually kind of picked over) but overall it's great.
