Great place for the "purist" in you to build your CD or Vinyl collection at reasonable prices.

Nice store with nostalgic items, music, movies and more. Not to mention a great selection of vinyl records, awesome.

Okay store for the burbs but don’t expect to find much catalog selection. They carry a few hundred records but mostly current releases and the section is not very well maintained so be prepared to look thru every bin. The staff was helpful, but I found one of the employees very condescending. However the store is good for picking up current new releases.

Wow, great service, friendly staff. Best place to get all your CD's etc. They treat you with respect, and I am 75,
and they helped me with all my questions.
I will go only to Sunrise, Cloverdale Mall, Etobicoke, ON.as I have for many years
and will continue to purchase here.

This is a great shop in the Cloverdale mall. The star are nice and they have DVDs yes discs are still relevant! Whether it be DVD or vinyl?

Please remember not to bring outside food or drink and this is posted but feel free to wander in and check out they have great collector sets and it's a good idea to give somebody a gift whether it be graduation or Christmas of this nature that's because people will keep it usually.

I walk around this mall reminding people to use their manners there are a lot of elderly Shoppers who walk slow but be proactive and say please and excuse me and try to solicit your local business. I bought several things here mainly South Park and I love DVDs?

I wanted to give this place a better rating. I went in to buy a few blu rays. Prices were on the higher end. I picked up one thing and asked about another. The other blu ray was $10. But when checking out. He informed me that the price was more then the sticker price. And it was $18 (there were two copies at $10). They wouldn't honor the price on the blu ray that they handed me from behind the counter on there horror wall. I left without buying it ofcouse. I work for a Boutique blu ray label and buy movies whenever I can from shops. But I don't feel good about buying stuff when the price goes up in front of you. They would have paid a wholesale price for the disc and marked it up a set amount. I'll likely not go back.

The worker at the location and was very knowledgeable on the records that were in store and what needed to be ordered in and what was coming in which was very helpful for what I was looking for! The environment itself is very friendly and open.

I wasn't impressed with the staff member who could have done better than pointing me in a general direction. They should hire someone with better knowledge and eclectic tastes.

A great store for Physical Media, one of the most important ones in Toronto. Reminds me of HMV and the days. Loved it.

My favorite go to place for movies and music! Excellent staff and always helpful and a convenient location for collectors like me!

For a movie buff like myself I like to have a physical collection of my favorite movies. This location has a solid selection of movies and occasional deals. I wish the prices weren’t as high on some items but I’ve still found a lot of great movies for fair prices and other items like the shirts. I’d rather support retail Canadian companies like this vs Amazon, or Wal Mart so I try to support these kinds of places.

The sales prices were OK (many of the on sale 2019 releases were the best prices I have seen them - better than Amazon, but they weren't deep discounts, just slightly better ones). I liked the music playing in the store. There is a great amount of selection for music and movies here, but some of the non-sale prices are.intense. Monsters Inc. Blu-Ray had a 42.99 sticker on it. Not even the Disney Movie Club would sell it for that much.even at full price with 4.99 + tax shipping. Disney is a weird one to benchmark though since older versions can become collector's items because of the way they release things, and the demand for them in general. I wonder how Disney+ will impact prices.

They seemed to have a large selection of monopoly versions here (at least for the untrained monopoly hating eye).

The discount bin and used item bin had a few interesting things.

I like stores like this, but there really aren't many left. And I spend so little on movies and music anymore. I want to go again.just don't know what I would buy.

I never find what I need but there's something I always buy. The customer service here is not great but even this guy needs to eat. He never offers assistance or a greeting when you enter the store but if you ask he will try to help. Sherway's Sunrise is closed permanently.

LOVE SUNRISE RECORDS. I will always come here to pick up a new album. The workers are also VERY kind.

My only complaint was I ordered a cd they didn't have in stock. A month goes by and still no cd. I called and was informed cd still hadn't come in and they were having trouble with the distribution. Told them to cancel order. Ordered from Amazon on Weds. Got it today which is Friday.

Nice to see a music store that stocks vinyl. Rather expensive to buy new vinyl, thus I'll stick to used.

Sunrise records has an amazing selection of music and vinyl records for your car or at home. Music is still the forefront of the store with accessories being carefully selected to compliment the music within the store.

Awesome looking store coming here is like going to hmv store they have t shirts, dvds, blurays, music cds and vinyls, posters and some little toys. The prices are fair depends what you get but for the most part its good. I highly recommend you check this store out if you miss the idea of going to a store similar to hmv. The guy worker said thank you when i bought something i know its not important but it is nice to get that kind of comment when other stores dont even care that you wanted to check them out

This is one of the last remaining record stores in Etobicoke, but it's been one of my favourites for a long time. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the selection is pretty good and if they don't have something they'll order it for you. There's a variety of t-shirts and geeked out fun stuff for the fans of music, movies and tv shows. They carry vinyl, CDs and DVDs/Blu-ray, as well as a few posters and other items. Worth a visit if you still like buying tangible music, and the record store vibe.
