Sunset Cove Marina

Family run marina. Not far from the city. It’s not overly large where you have a ton of boat and people. You can actually feel relaxed there. They have boat rentals, kayak rentals etc.facilities are clean and well kept. Has a special close knit vibe. The owners Alan and his wife are just superb! They will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. It’s a hidden treasure off of 48. Will definitely return soon!

Great place.we left our truck and trailer here for a week while we explored the Trent Severn.great owners - Alan and his wife are great. Clean restrooms and easy in and out! Nice little place to stop - fire pit and quiet in the off season! Would return again next year!

Had an absolutely great time, thanks to Alan and Lisa (new owners) from Sunset Cove Marina. They are super polite and really friendly, they were so helpful in acommodating us during our visit. We were a group of 4 adults 1 child and a small dog, the boat rental was so smooth and easy, they got us on the water in no time. Great place to be outdoors, fishing, boating, and enjoying nature. Easy access to nearby lakes in the Kawarthas. Great place, fun for the whole family, we will definitely be coming back as soon as we are able to and will recommend this place to all our friends and family. Thank you again Alan and Lisa, look forward to seeing you again soon!

The unit is spacious and well kept. There are plenty of facilities in the backyard along with a beautiful view of the lake. Rong and his staff has been very courteous and friendly during our stay. The whole package during the weekend has been incredibly affordable compared to other places in the area. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Place has a new owner. Don’t recommend it since they took over. Not very friendly you get bombarded with them asking for money or signing forms after storing for years. No hi hello or how are you. Not a friendly place anymore.

I had fantastic experience at the place: Friendly and resourceful staff members, decent facilities and equipment - All of this with reasonable price point. I definitely would recommend people for amazing camping and barbeque experience.

A totally delightful little marina for transients! The new owners, Lisa, Alan and their engaging son Jay do way above and beyond to welcome their guests! The seasonal marina residents make sure that you feel welcome too! I thoroughly love and recommend this marina!

We were trying to make it eastbound from Lake Simcoe to Rosedale but it was an extremely hot & sunny day and by mid afternoon of slow locking we were beat.

I called Joe and he had a spot big enough for my boat right in front of his house under a massive shade tree. He had electrical for AC and H2O.

The small harbour was quiet, the facilities were very good.
Joe was under the weather and I had to track him down the next morning to pay my dock fees. As a family run business it was very laid back and welcoming.

I just heard Joe sold it over the winter. I hope the new owners continue Joes commitment to great service / facilities. Enjoy your retirement Joe and wishing you healthy days ahead.

Maybe should have had the brains to not have people their that repair docks destroy a persons property, ps glad those two are in trouble.clean it up.
