The home fries were taste very bad.we said medium poached eggs but it was very runny. Next we sent it back then it was too hard. They don’t know how to cook eggs properly i guess.

We had a great time here, french connection was perfect. The service by Reshma was excellent, all people are friendly in this place. Thanks

Never fails. Love coming here because of the convenient location with lots of parking, delicious food and great service.

They didn’t seat because they close at 3.30. I got there at 3.10. It’s sad because I go there all the time. I guess I need to find a new breakfast place. God forbid I order while they are open.

There's a similarities between here and eggs mart but the service here is what makes the difference

I am resetting my metabolism. As a result I was the customer from he#l with my restrictions. Rishma patiently listen and made the best recommendations. Needless to say she deserves a big shout out. So happy she made my day. Do yourself a favor treat yourself to some great food and superior service. Thank you Rishma I will definitely be back when I stabilize.

Food was great and the servers were very attentive. Highly recommended for breakfast. We went for weekday lunch and it wasnt busy but not sure how busy it gets for breakfast on weekends.

We stopped in for a late breakfast this morning following an appointment with our child. The staff here was pleasant, welcoming and helpful - one of the better customer service experiences we’ve had in a while.

Had a lovely morning breakfast at the Lawrence street outlet. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Avocado toast plate with eggs and fruits along with brewed coffee made a filling meal, for $20. Free coffee refills offered by the servers every few minutes. I will definitely be back again to try other options and for the overall experience.

I am so disappointed at the behaviour of the worker; when I was on the phone they told me they had tables available but as soon as I get there they dismissed me. It was clear that there were tables available but they told me it was going to be a 20-25 minute wait. Whilst they were telling other incoming customers (similar race of the worker) the wait was 10 minutes. To face this kind of discrimination in the 21st century is very disappointing. I never expected this on a weekend morning.

The food was amazing. Service was super. Tooba and Yoga were both amazing. Will definitely come back again.

We love this location! The service is always great and quick. The staff are so lovely, especially Charlotte who is always smiling and giving my little guy attention:) highly recommend!

The staff is very welcoming and customer focused. They offered me a cup of coffee while waiting for my order. The portions was generous and cooked very well (I ordered the sirloin steak) the eggs were almost perfect, so were all the other items. I will definitely be going back there! Highly recommend

Food was delicious and worth the wait. The server took our drinks off our bill because the food took long- We really appreciated the gesture! Definitely will come back again for the food and friendly service.

I’ve always enjoyed eating at sunset grill - generally a great experience. Pleasant staff etc…I Decided to give this ‘new location’ a try with the family. Came for brunch - it was packed. Took about over 10 minutes to get seated and then we waited. It took over 10 minutes to have the waitress take our drinks order and then we waited yet again…it took over 15 minutes for our food to arrive (needless to say the portions were small) TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I counted 2 waitresses handling ALL THE TABLES. I counted another 2-3 cleaning/seating; another 2 behind the register and then 4 in the kitchen. If you are going to run a breakfast/brunch operation, get your set up right - it’s unfair to have 2 waitresses handle the entire establishment and customer service was just not there. Probably won’t be coming back to this location….

UPDATE: I appreciate the franchisee responding directly to my post but he didn’t really address my concern except stating what was already known. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. If I know we’ll be busy, I add additional staff so it doesn’t compromise the service I provide to my guests. Cheers

Service was quick and efficient. Pancakes were just ok. The reason I'm critical with pancake recipes these days is because I've made so much at home during covid. Hence still 4 stars

Eggs bennie was ok eggs were cooked properly, peameal was nice and thick but had little flavour. Hash browns were delicious, I added salt before tasting, shouldn't have. Service was excellent.

Went to sunset grill Sunday September 25th they made me wait 40 minutes outside and let 3 families who arrived after me go in first. This left a sour taste in my mouth. They didn't even acknowledge me or apologize.

Save your time and go to Valley fields down the street the staff are all so kind and the food is delicious. They served me and took my order within minutes of arriving

Owner replied, however this doesn't address the issue if it was first come first serve why would all additional people who arrived after me allowed to enter before me and have a seat? Even after telling the staff who were at the door I was there first. The dismissive nature leaves even more of a sour taste in my mouth.

I may be back to see how the line up has changed and edit the review.

I tried this place because I needed somewhere to eat breakfast on Canada Day. Prices in general are very good. For the best bang for your buck, definitely get the meat lover's wrap. Potato fries were kind of soggy but still worth it for the price.

By far one of, if not THE best sunset grills. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is amazing, no matter how busy it is. Happy I found it in my neighborhood. Will be going often.

Great Value & very good portions. Seated promptly and Alyssa was our server, very friendly, very good service, orders taken in good time. Food looked and tasted great. Lots of options on menu, something for everyone.

Have been ordering from them almost monthly since they opened, never once disappointed.
Remember this isn't going to be a 5 star restaurant with a famous chef, this is just good easy breakfast for anyone who's hungry.
The portions are pretty decent, it has been hit and miss with the potatoes, but it's still pretty good value overall for the cost and quality of food.
Definitely worth visiting or ordering for take out any day of the week.

The food was ok, just what I got I feel is was over priced for the portion size. The sausage egg and cheese if it matters.

First time trying Sunset Grill, was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and value! Some of my favourites are the brioche bun breakfast sandwiches, steak and eggs, very filling omelettes and to top it off with some pancakes. The service also made my experience, particularly from Charlotte, cheerful and friendly! She went out of her way to customise our pancakes into cute cartoon characters. If you're looking for a family friendly place and to start your day off right, Sunset Grill is the best breakfast place in town. Have tried other diners in town and just doesn't compare, Sunset Grill has spot-on standards and service everytime. Thanks again!

My Significant other has never tried Sunset Grill before and I have told him that I have been to one but not this location. I ordered a fruit Waffle with Peameal Bacon and Coffee on the side and my significant other Ordered Chocolate Pancakes with Peameal Bacon, Scrambled Eggs and Orange Juice on the side. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a very nice and kind hostess. Our waitress did not seem too pleased in serving us. It suddenly went from Room Temperatured to Fall weather within 20min of us being seated. We waited 10 more minutes for our food to come. When our food finally arrived I was extremely disappointed and embarassed. My waffle and Peameal Bacon was very cool, and my significant other's pancakes, Peameal Bacon and Eggs were cool as well. Absolutely no steam coming off of our foods at all! The only thing that was hot was the coffee that I got. I'm hoping that the next Sunset Grill I take my significant other to or anyone to will have some comment sense to keep hot food hot. Unfortunately this Sunset Grill location did not meet their highest standards and quality of a restaurant and we will not be returning to this location.

I love this Sunset Grill - it's bright and very home-y! Servers Alyssa and Charlotte make such a great team. The food is consistently good too. During peak times, there is a slight wait, but it's understandable! It's great to see the place buzzing after such a long time! The food and service is definitely worth the wait!

Great service, immediate seating, drinks and coffee within 3 mins. Breakfast within 8 mins. Saturday is busy after 11 am. Eggs over easy done well, bacon and sausages not burnt or dry. Dark rye, delicious. Recommended. No pics as we are very hungry and they pleased at this location. Ample parking.

Delicious and reasonably priced breakfast. The tables are not over crowded. There is a clean and welcoming vibe. The service is good!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We came here today and put our names down for a table for 9-+ a high chair. They said they could accommodate. We waited 20 minutes and got the call to come back. We went inside to 2 different tables. They refused to put 2 tables together for us because it would take “too long” to turnover the table. Coming from a family who have multiple restaurants, that is absurd! I didn’t know that putting two tables together would be too much work. Never eating here ever. The customer service is HORRIBLE!

This place can get very busy so maybe think of an alternate place if you're coming as a big group. Staff is very friendly and food is good. The brioche breakfast sandwich wasn't as tasty as we hoped. Guess it's a preference thing but I think it would taste better on a crunchier bread as opposed to super soft. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

Good service and nice people. However, the food is too much like fast food. For thr price, it would have been great to have some vegetables or fruits next to a meal. I'd suggest Cora's another breakfast place that offers that.

The girl who took our order was very sweet & helpful as well. She was knowledgeable. She made sure our experience is great. Other staff member at cash were also very polite and was curious to know how the experience was? This branch genuinely cared about the customer experience.

This location is clean and COVID-19 protocols are throughly followed.

This was the third time breakfast here and each time I loved it.

I order here as its closest to my home. I always order over medium which should have some yoke you can dip.
The potatoes or home fries are always burnt. Which is so dissapointing to me because i used to really like them. Everytime I place the online order and put lite rye as that option is given, i always end up with dark rye and when i call they say they have no lite rye (but everytime?) I think they should contact the customer when they don't have an option requested instead of assuming it's okay to provide a substitute to what is paid for.

Overall i am not impressed with this. As a result, I have no choice to start driving a bit further to get my food at another location.

*please be more customer focused. * make sure the food order is the food recieved. Burnt potatoes no one pays for. Bread requested is bread that should be recieved. Would love for this place to be up to par and correct the consistent issues mentioned to them that get no resolve.
