Sunshine Cove Cottage Resort

Nice place to relax with family. Clean cottages & friendly management. Enjoyed fishing over their wide dock. We'll definitely come back.

Best fishing spots are found right of the dock here! I heard about this place from Fish TV, and it didn't disappoint! Whenever I go to Rice Lake I stay here, majority of season 3 of LondonUrbanFishingChannel will be shot from that location.

Went last year under new management.

Had a wonderful day or Labor Day long weekend my husband and I and my little dog. She had a wonderful time The cottage Resort is wonderful has everything you need Cottages were very clean while kept. We will definitely go back soon Debbie and her husband Carl and their son Zack they are new owners and they they are very nice thank you again Debbie Carl and Zack for a great time I will highly recommend this Cottage Resort

Me and my family rented 3 cottages 9,10, and 12, they are wonderful renovated 3 bedroom cottages with big bathrooms, and I would recommend these cottages for big family’s. We had a wonderful time their especially with the new owners of the resort, giving us a lot of attention. It was a pleasure renting a cottage and fishing boat from Carl, Debbie, and Zack. So it’s upsetting to see how they were miss treated by this crazy man who stormed out and drove his car at crazy high speed through the resort, while we are panicking and checking on our kids in the playground we’re he passed by. (I wish they called the cops on him).
I definitely recommend the resort for others due to the good pricing and great customer service.

Just got back from a weeks stay at Sunshine Cove and had a great time. Stayed in cottage 3 and rented a boat, both which were clean and running well. This is a small resort with 12 cottages, making it very cozy. New owners took over this year and are learning the ropes and doing just fine. They were always available by cellphone if we needed anything. They even went out to the middle of the lake to rescue one of the boaters. Don't know what the bad reviews were about because I can't say one bad thing about this place. We would definitely recommend this place. This is now our go to on Rice Lake. Thanks Debbie and Carl.

Amazing place to spend a relaxing vacation with the family. Randy and Susan are very friendly and really care for their cottage resort. The cottages are extremely clean, the beach is amazing for the kids and the dock is great. Noticed that extra sand was brought in this year for the kids to play with. My niece really appreciated that and built a huge sand castle. Complimentary canoe and kayaks get a lot of use from our family.
