Super 8 by Wyndham Ajax/Toronto On

This location is currently being used as some kind of hostel/shelter with the Ontario government.what that means people are constantly coming in and out so it’s very loud.no sense of security here. You can feel the coils in the beds no hot water for my shower.see picture for mold! Should I continue? Internet doesn’t work people hanging out in hallways.because people live there above me loud banging all night … don’t stay here!

Service is generally fulsome, on occasion off putting.
Meals are a flaw.
Pool area "eeeeh"
Gym's just a center piece, barely accessible.
Hygiene's forgivable.
In my experience, I guess the price is right.

This was the worst experience ever. Staff were rude and had no idea how to do the job. I had two staff members gang up on me and yelled at me, talking over me.
The room was dirty and full of dust.
Thank you to the pickering casino hotel for having much kinder and knowledgeable staff.

The Room was excellent and everything was extremely clean, the Internet service was also great I have no complaints whatsoever but to say excellent service all around

They called the morning of to cancel our booking. Offered no help and lied that the entire hotel was closed when it was only a select few rooms. Wouldn't assist getting a replacement room anywhere else. Don't recommend

Not going to lie, some of these reviews are a bit ridiculous however some are factual. We stayed here this past weekend. The service wasn’t the greatest, in fact I felt like the manager I’m assuming was a tad rude. I’ve never in my life been to a hotel where they take a credit card then request you pay everything upfront. I’m still waiting on the hold from my credit card to be removed as I paid by debit as well.
The rooms aren’t that great, extremely small. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, 3 pillows for a queen size bed, fridge made a ticking noise while running, walls are paper thin we basically enjoyed our neighbours television show with them, no ironing board in the room as advertised.
We found stains on the bed sheets, almost as if they haven’t been washed in a while. The pillows had the most disgusting brown stains on them, mold in the shower. The list is endless. However you get what you pay for. I probably won’t ever return to this hotel, and will most likely stay away from the entire super 8 chain.

Rooms and location are OK.
However, I cannot provide the same comments for the service. I have sent emails lot of times to get your support to solve my topic about the repayment. Many days have passed since my stay in your Hotel (30 days) and I have not gotten the repayment.
I already checked this topic with my bank and they confirmed that my account does not have any issue to receive repayments.

Very low-quality customer service, you will be treated as if they did you a favour by hosting you. First and last time.

The rooms are nice though they are older. You can tell that the family that owns this franchise does try to maintain the property. I had a two room "suite". The second TV was not working so the only place to relax was the bedroom. Since I was there overnight it was fine, however, if I had been there longer it would have been a problem since I don't like to eat in bed nor do I like having a TV in the bedroom.

We had a great one night stay here while we were visiting the zoo and aquarium! Nothing bad to say about the place or the price!

I am appreciative of the Muslim house for helping us in this horrid time. However, I'd rather sleep in a tent than to have to deal with Jessica, the supervisor. She really went all out to make us feel worse than we already do. She threatened to kick us out twice. Scared my daughter so much that she cried packing her stuff in her backpack.
Individuals who are displaced should still be treated with respect and kindness. Or maybe it's because we aren't Muslim? Idk. Jessica needs a course or 2 on dealing with people respectfully.
I've never had maids complain to me about their work environment until this place. I would never pay to stay here.
Such a stressful place. No stars! You guys suck!

Will not be returning to this location, not nice at all, need updating, didn’t feel clean, mould around bath tub…. Run down…disappointed

Owner wife is from hell, she’s very racist! Hotel has bed bugs! Over priced they shouldn’t be charging more than 100 a night sometimes rooms are 700+. Terrible breakfast with crazy rules no food in your room because they have a ant problem! So instead of them fixing it they yell at guest to eat in the dining room, which also has ants in it! I could go on and on forever! STAYED HERE ONCE NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE if you love yourself find any other hotel just not this 1! This place needs to be bought out & ran by someone who actually knows how to run a hotel, not by whoever running it & his insecure wife I’m 36 with kids your not going to speak to me like a child and think I’m going to give you respect in return.

At 1: 00 am in the morning a fight broke out with some kids staying on the second floor. This went on until 2: 45 am I spoke with guests on the 1st floor and 4th floor during checkout. They including myself called and stated our concerns for safety and the noise. Police were called in twice. Then at 3 am women were screaming in the hallway.
The young front desk Indian man refused to do anything for us guest at the front desk. The manager wouldn’t make himself available to us. Days later NO one returned our calls about the incident.
This hotel allows under age stays and drinking and doesn’t care about its guest.
The front desk man said, what do you expect at a hotel. Like this was supposed to be normal.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS….

Lovely and reasonably priced hotel to stay. There is a courteous staff, an indoor pool, a gym, and great Continental breakfast. The room was very clean, with very comfortable bedding! Plus Free WiFi and cable tv.
